Chapter 25

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Dipper is the first to say "hey, I adored you and did nothing but made sure you were happy at Gravity Falls, (Y/n)." Hiro rolls his eyes saying "yeah, and once you're too far for her, you go for, what I've been told, is a rich kid." "Hiro!" "What? It's true!" "It was a spur of the moment thing, and it was only one time, (Y/n). I promise!" "Then it was about four one times-" "Mabel!" "I'm not sorry! (Y/n)'s my best friend. And you're getting close to ruining it because you've been hit with puberty!" Mabel and Dipper start arguing.

Tears start to come to my eyes as I put my hand over my mouth, but I grab my phone back to see that it's just the ceiling as Dipper and Mabel are arguing. Honestly they probably started an aggressive pillow fight, so I huff and say "Dipper, I don't know what I saw in you. I've seen the best parts of you, and thought that you'd be the only one for me in my life. Then you go and kiss Pacifica.... four times!!" My tears finally fall as I just glare at the screen. They stopped fighting, but didn't really get into the camera's view as I say "I'd rather Bill find me than hang with you ever again."

I hand Hiro my phone back as I cry into his chest, he comforts me as he says "you happy with yourself?? You got your talk, and I ended up being right." "Who even are you anyway?! Her new boyfriend after she found out I kissed Pacifica!?!?" Dipper asked angered. Hiro scoffs and says "like we'd stoop to your level, we're basically building up a great friendship. I was there for her when you broke her heart, and I'm here now as you unbelievably stomp on it." As I'm right here I say "well, Hiro... we've actually been getting really close throughout this year."

Mabel starts fangirling as Dipper asks "wait what??" Hiro looks down at me saying "h-huh??" I laugh softly and say "I tried to say it earlier. But all of that crazy masked dude happened-" "wait, WHAT?!" Dipper and Mabel ask confused together. I laugh softly saying "I'll send you the video later, guys, but Hiro... we've known eachother for a year. Probably grown so close together that doing some things didn't change our friendship when it usually would for some people." "OH MY GOSH, DID YOU TWO KISS?!" Mabel asks happily as she sounds like she's fangirling again.

Hiro's blushing as he glares at my phone, so I chuckle and say "yeah, welcome to my world, Hiro... but I wanna say it was around our first bot fight night. Everything just seemed so different around you, hanging out, going to the movies... I started to crush on you a little. I just thought that I shouldn't do anything-" "why!?" Hiro asked shocked as he's still blushing. "Because at the time I didn't want to hurt Dipper, but he thought differently-" "shuddup" Dipper mumbles. "I have every right to talk, Dipstick! You literally broke me down, and I feel like I shouldn't crush on anyone in case it happens again."

Dipper got quiet as Mabel sounds like she's crying a bit, but Hiro sets my phone down leaning up against the house and hugs me close. My arms instantly went around him to hug back as he says "(Y/n), you should know I'd never do that to you. You mean too much to me, and Dipper is a jerk-" "if you really wanted a moment of peace, you should've hung up the call." "I thought I did-" "no, you just changed the camera's view, so we can see you two hugging now." Mabel is still fangirling after she stated the fact, so I chuckle saying "and you're supposed to be smart, Hiro."

That joke got him to playfully roll his eyes saying "I am, but sometimes I make mistakes... but I know that I won't lose you as easily as Dipper did. Because like you said, I'm smart, and I know how I'm gonna treat you" I smile as a few tears leave my eyes. "I love you..." I trail off as I try not to cry happy tears, Hiro smiles saying "I love you too, (Y/n)." "I bet you never seen her birthmark!" Dipper says sounding a bit jealous right now. I roll my eyes softly as Hiro says "you mean the fox on her shoulder??" I blush and nervously laugh.

Mabel is still gushing as she says "yeah, she doesn't show that off to just anyone!!" "Wait, when did you see it?!" "She texted me. I was curious on why Bill kept calling her 'Fox'" Mabel admits, so I chuckle and say "yeah, that was awkward." "Wait, who's Bill??" Hiro asks confused, that got the twins and I to start awkwardly laughing. Dipper is the one to say "that's kind of a hard story to explain" I nod saying "but just know he's dangerous." "Do you think he's the one behind the mask??" Hiro asks out worried for me, so I shake my head.

"No, he's gone.... pretty sure he is at least" I answer out honestly, but Hiro still looks concerned as he says "okay, but now that's another guess we have." "Why would Bill come here of all places and not use his powers??" I ask confused on Hiro's reasoning. Mabel then says "maybe he got revived, but it's taking his powers a bit to come back" I blink as I look at my phone. Dipper then says "that is the most smart thing you've ever said since we've been back home." "Now I'm gonna go get me some Mabel-Juice!!" "And she's back" I joke and we laugh softly.

I look back at Hiro saying "either way, we're hunting this dude down.... for whatever reason you say, because I'm with ya all the way, Hiro." Hiro looks me in the eyes saying "I just wanna get back at him for almost killing you or Tadashi." "WAIT WHAT?!" Dipper asks shocked, so I say "from the fire, the masked dude started it." "But (Y/n)... I'm also here for you, all the way - I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe" Hiro says with a warm smile. I smile back and we started to lean in and finally kissed on purpose this time, it was just a sweet kiss.
