Chapter 42

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Aunt Cass' words got some of us to chuckle softly, but I decline the offer saying "I think I'm good, Aunt Cass" she playfully pouts at me. "Come on, (Y/n)! It's good, plus you never had it yet" Aunt Cass tries to persuade me into eating. I shake my head saying "seriously, I'm good-" "at least eat something, sweetie - I don't want you to starve." "I don't think I'm hungry right now" "(Y/n)" Hiro says last, so I look at him to see his concerned face. I nervously bite my lip and say "okay, I'll take this apple" I grab the apple that's in a bowl and shake it a bit.

"And go to my room-" "that you're sharing with with Gogo and Honey Lemon" mom informs me, so I nod and just go to my room. In there I sit down on my bed and see a few air mattresses in here, humming I look at the apple confused. 'I haven't really eaten all day... how do I not feel hungry?' I think as I set the apple on the bedside table. Sighing I lay back on my bed and just look up at the ceiling... just thinking of random things.

"This has been happening for generations on generations, the only difference is - you're still just a kid instead of an adult going through this."
"Bill went through the same thing, did you really think he was alive for years?"
"Okay, I guess I'll have to put it this way.. you're not-"

'If she didn't hesitate for that split second I probably would've known what she was gonna say' I think as I wonder what's happening. 'This is going to be a weird thing to explain to the group-' "you haven't even ate that yet?" Gogo asks. Opening my eyes I sit up and look at her, she's at the door as she's walking in and closed it. I run a hand through my hair a bit saying "well, no.. I don't really feel hungry for some reason." She crossed her arms, then she smirks a bit saying "okay, I'm guessing you don't wanna talk about the 'weird stuff.'"

I nod saying "yeah, I don't want to-" "then let me bring up a different subject" Gogo interrupted as she looks at her nails. This confused me, but she says "how about.. we talk about you basically getting pushed to kiss that other kid. What was his name?" Gogo asks as she still looks at her nails which got my eyes to widen at the topic. "Dipper?" Gogo asks while finally looking at me, so I groan and say "okay okay!.. I'll talk." "About?-" "you know what" I say and cross my arms while pouting a bit, so she chuckles.

"Okay, let's just wait for Honey Lemon to quit scarfing down the hot wings" Gogo says and starts stretching a bit, so my eyes widen. "She scarfs them down?!" "Yeah, it shocked Tadashi too when he first invited us over to eat." We start talking a bit, I told her how I met the Mystery Shack gang- when Honey Lemon finally walked in. She cleared her throat before saying "wow, those wings are always so good" I raise an eyebrow at her. "What?" Honey Lemon asked, so I say "why the nickname Honey Lemon anyways?" Gogo smirks again.

Then she says "this is gonna be great.." "well, Fred says it's because I can look all sweet and actually be all sweet." "Which is true-" "and then I'm just shockingly sour or something like that" Honey Lemon interrupted me. I blink a few times as I look at her 'shockingly sour?' I don't think too much on it as I start hugging my pillow. "Gogo said that if I didn't wanna talk about one thing then I'd have to talk about the other." "What?" Honey Lemon asks, but Gogo says "what Honey Lemon didn't explain was that she can switch quickly."

That confused me even more "like how she's all sweet and nice, then she just scarfed down the hot wings" "ohh... that makes sense actually." "What were you talking about though??" Honey Lemon asks as she sits on the foot of my bed. With that I say "either talk about Dipper or talk about the weirdness that happened today." "Oh, are we talking about Dipper?!" Honey Lemon says happily as she got comfy- crossing her legs and everything. I shake my head with a soft blush saying "n-no!.. I chose to talk about the weirdness of today."

"Oh..." Honey Lemon says while deadpanning at me, so I tried not to burst into laughing as Gogo sat down next to her. Clearing my throat I look down at my bed saying "well... you're gonna have to believe me on what I'm gonna say." They both nod, so I breathe in and out as I try to think on how to even word it since they weren't even there. "I.. got a random headache while running around the woods with Hiro- it came out of nowhere." "Okay, sounds normal so far" Honey Lemon says with a smile while nodding her head.

My arms tighten around the pillow as I say "Hiro calling out to me scared was the last thing I heard before I open my eyes and I wasn't in the woods. The scenery looked all red, there was these demon looking creatures that seen me too. They were gonna eat me, but they were the same one's that were a part of Bill's Weirdmaggedon. One of them recognized me and they decided not to eat me since Bill wouldn't let them have any fun." "O...kay?" Gogo asks before being sarcastic "that doesn't sound stupid at all or anything."

Honey Lemon was looking concerned as she also looked like she was heavily thinking on each and individual word I was saying. "We talked for the shortest amount of time before I heard Hiro yelling my name and the world shook." "Shook? Shook how??" Gogo asks confused, so I say "like it was some type of earthquake. Then everything went bright like a light was being shined in my face and I was back with Hiro. He told me I was floating and crying blood..." "you were crying blood?" Honey Lemon finally asks.
