Chapter 1

No one's p.o.v

-first met-

(Y/n) practically grew up her entire life in Gravity Falls, loving the way the woods were so quiet, that there was always something new to learn. Her favorite thing of all though? Trying to write down her own little nicknames for weird creatures in the forest. Like the gnomes... yeah, those things were crazy, she's surprised she didn't get kidnapped. Though when she was walking around she could hear some type of screaming girl. (Y/n) began to run through the forest in case she could help the girl, but she sees a boy trying to jump higher than a crowd.

"Grunkle Stan! Grunkle Stan!!" He yelled, so (Y/n) tilted her head confused as she actually just went to go investigate anyways. She already knew about The Mystery Shack, Stan has had his own encounter with the little girl. Anyways, (Y/n) tapped Dipper's shoulder, he flinched and looks back at (Y/n).. then blushed. (Y/n) smiled saying "hi, I'm (Y/n)!... what's up? You seem distressed-" "oh my gosh, Mabel!" Dipper yells out. Then the two heard someone driving to a stop, so Dipper pulls (Y/n) by the hand saying "Wendy! I need to borrow the golf cart to save my sister from a zombie."

(Y/n) gasped saying "no.. way - I think I can help!! Well, more like I want to help, but-" Wendy snapped her fingers to get their attention. The two tweens look at Wendy as she hands Dipper the keys to the golf cart, then she walks away with a smile. "Don't hit any pedestrians!" Was Wendy's only warning for the two, so they share a look. Dipper then asks "how do you actually believe me??" "I've discovered a few things in this town. Not everything is exactly what it seems" Dipper smiled big saying "I think we'll get along well."

-Inconveniencing-

Wendy and (Y/n) basically brought the twins to their spot on the roof, so Dipper and (Y/n) say "woah!" Since the sight always got (Y/n) smiling. The two share a look and say "jinx!" And start lightly punching the other as they laugh a bit. (Y/n)'s reaction got Wendy to chuckle saying "you already knew about this, doofus" (Y/n) laughs softly "I know. I just like it..." "did you put all this stuff up here?" Dipper asks Wendy, (Y/n) laughed a little. "She may-" "or may not-" "sneak up here..." "during work..." Wendy and (Y/n) share a look.

"All the time, everyday" they finally say together and lightly elbow the other, Wendy then throws a pinecone at the target she has. Directly hitting it she smiles and says "yes!" So the four started to throw pinecones... a lot of pinecones. Until Dipper accidentally started to get a car alarm going off, so he breathed in embarrassed with a blush. (Y/n) laughed saying "alright! Nice one, high five!" Dipper looks at (Y/n), seeing her in a whole new way. The way her hair blew softly from the wind, the smile on her face being so perfect! It could make him melt.

Yet he lifts his hand and they share a high five, (Y/n) felt herself blush softly, but it wasn't noticeable, Wendy chuckled at the two. That's when Wendy noticed her other group of friends, so she says "oh hey, it's my friends." Thompson puts his hand out of his window yelling out "Wendy!!... is that (Y/n)!? She should come too." (Y/n) smiled, but the two girls look back at Dipper and Mabel "uh, you guys aren't gonna tell Stan about this, are you?" Wendy asks. (Y/n) had late realization that they could tell the old man about this, so she looks at Dipper sadly.

Dipper looks into (Y/n)'s eyes, knowing that he can't tell Stan... not that he wanted to in the first place, so he locked his lips and flicked away the key. (Y/n) smiled and did the same, then she looks at Wendy as they smile big and fist bump. Wendy then says "later, dorks" but (Y/n) beat Wendy to the cool way down, so she says "dude. I said 'bye' first!" "Not like me!! See ya in a bit, guys!" (Y/n) says a she laughed a bit and landed. Wendy went after and they went into the van, and off to who really knows where anymore.

"Later, (Y/n)!!" Dipper yells out while waving goodbye, (Y/n) didn't hear him, but he just nervously laughed anyways. Mabel noticed Dipper's tone and playfully says "uh oh" so Dipper looks at his twin confused. "What?" Dipper asked annoyed, so Mabel pokes Dipper's face saying "somebody's in love~" Dipper laughed saying "yeah right. I just think (Y/n)'s cool, okay? It's not like I lay awake at night thinking about her!" Then he realized he does do that. So as he's lying in bed, thinking about (Y/n) he says "uh oh.." so during this adventure he lied.

He wanted to seem cool around (Y/n), so he said that he and Mabel are technically teens so he could hang out with the gang. Since Dipper knows that he and Mabel aren't as cool as (Y/n) to actually fit in normally like she did. Which didn't really get Dipper on (Y/n)'s good side all the way, but she still hung out and overlooked the lie.. for now.

-Double Dipper-

(Y/n) wanted to go to the party just as much as Mabel did, but hid the fact and smiled as she basically just also wants to get close with the gang. So she agreed to actually work the ticket stand with Mabel, until Dipper volunteered to work with (Y/n) instead. "Wait, I actually wanna do it on two conditions!" (Y/n) said with a smirk, knowing Grunkle Stan. He groaned "what is it, kid??" "I get your swivel chair that's in your office to sit on." "Fine, deal... I won't be sitting anyways-" "and I actually get to still dress up despite being at the stand."

Stan raised an eyebrow at the tween, but shrugged his shoulders "do whatever ya want kid-" "deal! I'll be back in, like, one second. I already brought over my dress that I wanted to wear to this party" with that she left and got ready. Dipper and Mabel had their talk... even with Dipper's crush on (Y/n), and his big ol' list of a plan. The party started, Dipper was waiting for (Y/n) when she walks out of The Shack in her (f/c) dress. She twirled around saying "well, might as well feel nice instead of actually getting to have fun in there."
