Chapter 44

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Once we're all in we go to where Ford's lab is and I feel really nervous "don't worry, everything will be okay" Hiro says softly. He gently grabs my hand as Fred sets his hand on my shoulder "yeah, we're here for you, lil cuz." Gogo softly rolls her eyes saying "we're not ditching out on you" I chuckle at this and the elevator opens up. We walk out and hear Dipper and Ford talking about a few things, I can't really hear what. When we're all in there though I walk forward and stand in front of the San Fransokyo group.

Ford and Dipper look at me as I breathe in and out "Ford... we need to talk" I say as me and Hiro start to explain what's been happening. His eyes are wide as he pulls me towards to where he basically scanned both mine and Dipper's mind to protect us from Bill. "I always wanted to do a few tests on you to find out a few things" Ford says as he grabs a few things. My eyes widen at this "excuse me.. what did you just say?" Wasabi asks confused. Ford waved him off softly saying "oh, you'd be curious too if you knew her mother" that got my attention.

Dipper was curious too as he says "what's up with her mom??" "She's lived in Gravity Falls for as long as I have, children. Yet she still looks like she's a young woman and not an elderly like me or Stan- or even Fiddleford" Ford explained. "That's why she looks so young?!" Gogo asks, so I nod saying "yeah! I noticed that too yesterday." Ford looks at us saying "how old?.." "later twenties at most" Hiro says a bit concerned. Ford nods saying "exactly! How is she so young and have a child?.. (Y/n), I need to check a few things and ask a few questions."

I nod as I get comfy in the chair I'm in "go right ahead" "when did these paranormal activities start happening?" "Yesterday like I told you. I floated, was in a place where everything was red and-" "you were in the Nightmare Realm. I've been there before" Ford informs us "w-WhAt?!" Dipper asks making his voice crack. Hiro chuckles a bit at that making Dipper hit him, so I roll my eyes as I say "you're kidding me." Ford shakes his head saying "no, but before we do anything else... who is your father?" I look down.

Memories of how he died that day and I could've done something to stop it come back as tears fill up my eyes alone- even his voice. "(Y/n), what-?" "I-I don't want to talk about it! He's just gone, okay!?" I yell out as tears fall. Hiro walks up to me as he says "hey, it's okay..." "fascinating" Ford mumbles out. I glare forward at him as I say "just drop the question" "already forgotten it - your eyes are glowing (f/c) again." Dipper nods as he takes a small step back, Wasabi's legs gave out on him as Gogo was looking at me shocked.

Hiro looked like he was thinking before saying "okay, just breathe with me" he breathes in while counting with his fingers to four. Then he breathed out while counting down from four, so the second time I do it with him. I feel calmer now as I look at the group "wow, I didn't think that would work" Fred says jokingly. Hiro playfully glares at him saying "well, I know a thing or two on freaking out" and he took a few steps back. Ford then starts to get supplies ready as he says "okay, now - time for the tests" and he pulled on rubber gloves.

-short time skip-

There are a few things he did like throwing something at me and I didn't want to catch it as I shielded my face- the object was floating. He took a blood sample and was testing a few different things on it- what was freaky was my blood wasn't red. My blood was actually (f/c), but he also tried to see how my blood would react to a few different things. "What does any of this mean though, Ford?" Gogo asks as she sounds impatient now. Ford taps his chin in thought saying "I.. don't really know for sure, I need to wait for results to come back."

That confused us "what do you mean?" Dipper asks which made Ford say "well, you see I put a drop of her blood into this machine. It takes a bit of time for the results to come, so we're waiting to see what she is fully." Wasabi takes a step forward saying "how long does that take??" Ford hummed in thought "a day or two at most." "We might be gone by then!" Gogo and Hiro yell out, so I clench at the chair a bit as I worry we won't know. 'That's to even say whatever Adam said would happen will even let us leave!.. ugh, this is just great.'

Fred looks at me saying "hey, (Y/n) - it'll be okay" "how can you say that!? You don't even know how bad it is, Fred!" I yell out. Standing up I start pacing around "baby, just-" "Hiro, this isn't something you can just breathe off. You heard Adam! Weirdmaggedon can happen again!! Let alone even if it doesn't everything will change. We need answers and we need them now!!" "Your eyes-!" "Are glowing (f/c), I can already guess. You're all looking terrified of me!" I yell out as I glare at Dipper, but my head starts spinning again.

"Prepare for her to float!" Hiro yells out as he tries to grab my hand, but I pull away and feel myself changing destinations again. A chuckle got my attention "wow, you really are getting used to coming here" that same demon says. My eyes widen as I gasp and realize I can finally get some answers out of her since I'm here. I run up to her as I say "quick, before they try to wake me up again! What were you gonna say?!" She smirks. Then she crossed her arms saying "I was going to say that you're not entirely human... you're like also half-demon."
