Chapter 30

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Callaghan then says "no, I had Hiro's microbots" "b-but.. Tadashi and (Y/n) - you would've let them die" Hiro says sadly. I put my hand on his shoulder as Callaghan says "give me the mask, (Y/n)" my eyes widen. Taking a few steps back I see Hiro standing in the way as he says "they would've died trying to save you. (Y/n) got a burn scar!!" "That was their mistake!" Callaghan says as he gets close to Hiro, I feel tears prick my eyes. Baymax lands by my side as Hiro says "Baymax, destroy" my eyes widen as my tears start to fall.

Baymax then says "my programming prevents me from injuring a human being-" "not anymore" Hiro says and pushes the opening for the chips. My eyes widen as I walk forward and grab his wrist "Hiro, no!" "(Y/n), he would've killed you. You heard him!!" Hiro says and pushed me back, I fall on my butt as I gasp and look at him. Instantly he takes out Tadashi's coding chip and throws it to the side "Hiro, this is not what-" Baymax got cut off. Hiro pushed the chip back in, so I'm scared 'what other chip is in his system now??' I think scared.

"Do it, Baymax! Destroy him!!" Hiro says while pointing at Callaghan 'no... this isn't what Tadashi and I worked so hard for.' Callaghan was looking at Baymax scared as he used his rocket fist, but Callaghan barely dodged. Baymax aimed his laser hand at Callaghan as he ran, but Gogo quickly moved the blast up. "No! Stop, Baymax!" Gogo says before she got pushed out of the way, so I stand up and get on my hoverboard. I left the mask on the floor as I ride over to Callaghan, quickly I picked him up from under his arms.

Flying off I have him in my hold as my tears stream down "I hope you're happy! You could've killed me, but I'm saving you. What type of man are you?!" I yell out, but he moved my leg which made us both fall down. I ended up by Hiro, but he got Fred thrown at him, so he couldn't stop Callaghan from running off with the mask. Hitting the floor I just continue to cry, but I look up at Callaghan as he looks at me with the mask on. Then he ran off, so I look back at Baymax, he's aiming his laser hand at Callaghan again.

As he's powering it up I say "Baymax, no!!" Then I move his hand out of the way, which ended up with Baymax picking me up. I struggle and kick my feet as he has me by my throat, but after a second I get dropped to the floor. Looking up I see that Honey Lemon put Tadashi's chip back into Baymax, so I continue with catching my breath. "My healthcare protocol has been violated" Baymax says as he helps Fred up, but Fred removed his hand from Baymax's hold. Then Baymax looks down at me as he says "I regret any distress I may have caused" I don't even look at him.

Hiro then says "how could you do that!?? I had him!" I stand up as I say "what you just did, we didn't sign up for" Wasabi nods in agreement. "We said we'd catch the guy, that's it-" "I never should've let you help me" Hiro says angered. I glare at him and make him face me "Hiro-" he pushed me away again as he looks at Baymax. "Baymax, find Callaghan" Hiro says annoyed, so I make him face me again "Hiro, that was uncalled for. Baymax could've killed me... and it would've been on your account" Hiro looked like he had realization hit.

The tears in his eyes start to form, but Baymax says "my enhanced scanner has been damaged" Hiro just shakes his head and groans. Hiro then gets on Baymax's back and says "Wings!" Baymax's wings instantly come out. Baymax pushed a button before Fred says "Hiro, this isn't a part of the plan-" "fly!" Hiro interrupted. They fly off, so I growl quietly before following after them "(Y/n)!!" Gogo and Honey Lemon yell after me now. I continue to fly after Baymax, barely staying on my hoverboard since I'm going straight up.

We're in the air as it's already dark out "Hiro!! Turn around, now!" I yell out over the wind "leave me alone, (Y/n)!!" Hiro yells out. There was both anger and sadness in his voice, so I groan and continue to fly after them. Finally getting at a good pace to stay by their side I say "Hiro, talk to me!!" Then he looks away with a hurt expression. Sighing I say "fine, you forced my hand" then I jump and throw my hoverboard for Baymax to catch. He did catch it, but I scream as I start falling down towards the water "(Y/N)!!!" Hiro yells worriedly.

I shut my eyes tight as I continue to fall, the wind blaring through my ears until I get caught and Baymax says "do not worry, I have caught you." Sighing softly I say "now we have to talk" "Baymax, continue to go home" Hiro commands. With that Baymax flies off, it was a quiet fly until we got to Hiro's garage, so we walk in. Hiro grabs a step stool as he grabs Baymax's helmet and hooks it up to his computer. "Your blood pressure is elevated, you appear to be distressed... and your testosterone levels have increased as well."

Hiro responds with "I'm fine" then he starts to walk towards Baymax, but I stand in his way "Hiro, hold on" he sighs and says "okay. What's up??" "Hiro, I'm just as upset about this as you are, but killing Callaghan?? That's not okay." Hiro walks past me saying "he would've done the same thing to Tadashi, o-or you!" Then he walks up the step stool. He easily put the helmet back on Baymax's head, so I pull him down as I look him in the eyes. "Hiro, you just almost did the same thing to me!! Baymax had me in a choke hold!" I say as tears start to come again.
