YOUR POV
I'm startled by the doorbell and knocks on the door. It must be my 4 year old son, Jayden and my ex-husband, Jungkook.
"Hi baby!" I squealed in excitement once I saw my adorable little boy. I kneel down to his level as he runs into my open arms. I hugged him tightly. Ah, I loved the feeling of his tiny arms around my neck. I ask for a kiss and he happily pecks my lips. "Did you have fun today?"
"Yeah!! me and daddy went to the zoo!!" He turned around and smiled at his father and then back at me.
I completely forgot about the presence of my ex-lover who was still standing at the doorway, looking down at us in awe.
Jayden went on giving me a list of animals he saw at the zoo. I would nod and smile at him, pretending I was listening when I was really taking glances at Jungkook. It's because I got this vibe that he had been eyeing me like he was playing a game of 'stare-at-her-until-she-notices-me'. It was either he was observing his shoes and the ground but when I would look away, I felt him stare back at me. It was as if he was patiently waiting to be acknowledged.. As in with a proper hi or hello that I never really gave.
As soon as my talkative little one was done going on about his day, I decided not to be too 'cold' today and thought I should greet him. "Hi" I said with a slight smile. He was startled, like he was caught off guard.
He's been staring at me; he's been staring at me with a gaze so intense that it made me feel uncomfortable and just plain awkward. I couldn't tell whether he wanted to kill me, eat me or...I hate to say this but it looked almost as if he wanted to make love to me. I mean, with his eyes full of lust, his lip biting; the way he's been giving me that up and down elevator look.
God could he just stop..
Then I remembered, could it be what I had on?

I guess it was a bit short and showy in some areas but it's not like I intended to.. but then again it shouldn't be new to him, I always dressed this way. Whatever, maybe he just missed seeing it.
"Hi" he replied softly as he returned a small smile. Actually, you couldn't even call it a smile. It barely touched his eyes.. Not that I care so much but what was wrong with him?
I turned my attention back to Jayden, "Did you eat yet baby?" I asked him as I moved his the loose strands of hair away from his eyes. Ugh, those little but big doe eyes that always brought me back to his stupidly attractive daddy.
I kept asking Jayden questions instead of Jungkook because I felt so uneasy with him right now. I couldn't look him in the eyes. He had this pitiful expression with a hint of sadness. He reminded me of a puppy who didn't get his treat or something. The expression on his face looked so.. I don't know. It was just so off. I'm so thankful Jayden was so talkative because without him, Jungkook and I would just be standing here in silence.. or I would've dismissed him way earlier-- actually, he wouldn't even be here in the first place!
