CONCEPT: You were sitting on a bench after rehearsals and before tonight's show.
You had this habit of lacing his long hair around your fingers whenever you could. Jungkook had gotten so used to this that whenever you weren't, he cutely asks you to do it over and over again.
He's leaning onto you with his eyes closed; feeling instant relief from your touch. He's admitted to you before that just the feel of your hands in his hair was enough to calm his nerves down.
That is... until somebody gets in the way and shoots his nerves back up😅

Vmin was up to their own shenanigans until they spot you and Jungkook from afar.
Jimin nudges Taehyung, "wow look at the two lovebirds acting all cute over there.. and they deny that they're a couple?!"

"Yeah I don't believe it one bit.. Let's go bug them!"

They laugh evilly as they make their way to you guys in the stage seats.

"Awww would you look at the cute couple!!" Jimin gushes.
Jk & you immediately stop and give them an awkward smile.

"You're bringing JK to paradise with the way your touching him Y/N." Taehyung teases.

"We're.. not.. a couple.." Jungkook defends.

You really weren't though. The attraction was definitely mutual but the relationship between you and him was nothing official; it was something that was too fragile at the moment to be labelled as something more.

"If what you're doing is not your couple thing then I want it too!!" Taehyung says excitedly.

Jungkook slowly sits up and looks at you; clearly hesitant about giving away his spot to Taehyung.
You couldn't lie about your reactions too since you were just as hesitant. Why? Because you only ever felt comfortable with Jungkook.

"O-Okay then come here Tae." you invite.

Tae pushes Jk out of the way to sit beside you and he immediately lays down on your lap.

Right when you were about to run your fingers through his hair, Jungkook shocks you all by aggressively pushing Taehyung off of you.

"It's my turn. Not yours.''

You and Jimin share a glance with widened eyes. Was this actually Jk...??

"Woahh CHILL!! Why are you so triggered?!!"

"Because it's my turn!!"

"What are you, 5?"

"Yes 5 minutes away from hitting you!!"

"YaH.. This guy.." Tae scoffs, "You think I'm scared of you Jungkookie? You're just a baby acting tough for Y/N."

Jk shoves him so hard that it caused Tae to almost lose his balance. You rush to hold him back and grasp his shoulders, "Jungkook..." you whisper to relax and comfort him.

"What has gotten into you bro?!"

Jimin stands in between and pulls Taehyung away. "Ok this is getting out of hand.
We only came over to make fun of you two but this was a bad idea."

Taehyung gets out of Jimin's hold, "No no, let me speak with him." He gets closer to JK and returns the shove he gave. "What's your problem Jk? She's not yours. You have no right to get jealous."

"I'm not jealous."

Tae scoffs, "Why are you so in denial of everything? Just admit it!! Because if you don't then I will!"

"You'll what? What have you got to admit?!"

"That I like her."

Jimin appears confused as he knew this wasn't true; And so did all of you.

"No you don't. You can't like her." Jungkook says loud and clear with a straight face.

"And why not? I have feelings too."

"Because."

"Because why?"

"Because I loved her first!!"

Jimin gasps and you couldn't help but do the same too.

"You what?" Tae smirks.

"I loved her first! I'm in love with her! I loved her then and I love her right now! I love her! And you can't take that away from me!!"

Silence fills the room and you all just look at each other. Your heart races and flutters.
It wasn't like it was something extremely shocking although it still did surprise you to hear him say it out loud.

A smile suddenly creeps on Taehyung's mischievous face and he claps, "ok my work here is done! Congrats we have a new couple!! Gosh finally truth comes out! WOOHOO!!"

Jk's jaw drops at what he had just admitted. He didn't even have it in him to be angry anymore. He feels embarrassed; looking like he wants to crawl under a rock and hide but you found it so cute. "...S-Seriously hyung? You just—"

"SHUSH! You'll thank me later. BOTH of you actually." He wiggles his brows.

Jimin smacks the back of Taehyung and Jungkook's heads at the same time before laughing. "My gosh you are both idiots! Okay now Taehyungie let's leave these 2 lovebirds alone. We've caused enough trouble here.."

Once they leave, You cross your arms and stand in front of him.
"So after all this time, truth finally comes out huh?"

He blushes and nods.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"For the same reason you probably didn't.."

"That's very bold of you to assume.."

"But I'm right aren't I?"

"Yes, no, maybe so?"

"Y/N!"

"Well then what if I told you I felt the same?"

"Then we can live happily ever after?"

"DDAENG."

"Then what?"

"You should kiss me first. Duh!"

You giggle and smile at each other before he impatiently closes the space between you two and lock lips.
While Vmin is cheering in the back😂
Jk shoots the middle finger at Tae while you slap it down😆
