Chaperone: This should be quick and simple.

You're huddled around the fire, Brooklyn holding your hand close to her.

Chaperone: You two will enter from the east. We will enter from the west.

You: How big is this place?

Chaperone: Four buildings, one relatively small, two the size of a typical house, the central one is quite large.

You: What was our target's name again?

Brooklyn: Valentin. I swear that name sounds familiar.

She mutters the last part to herself, so you write it off.

Chaperone: You should go to the central building first. That is likely where Valentin will be... Be very cautious. I shouldn't need to remind you that he is extremely dangerous.

Brooklyn: Pfft, come on, man. You stalked us for years; you should know we've fought some pretty bad people.

Chaperone: How many times did each of you get seriously injured and almost die?

You: It doesn't matter.

Chaperone: I want each of us to make it home today. Please, use caution. Now here.

He takes his pack off his bag and hands it to you.

Chaperone: Just so you have it. There are supplies to last you two a week if it's needed.

You: Really? In here?

Clementine would always pack your bags before you left until it couldn't hold anything else. Always with a week of food and water, some clothes to replace yours if you needed to change, and she would always fit a little piece of paper inside with something written on it. No way he managed two weeks of shit in this thing. For two people too?

Brooklyn: Where are we meeting up?

Chaperone: We'll come to you. Just make sure you get your target and then survive.

You: Easy.

Chaperone: It will not be easy. Get that thought out of your head. One wrong move, and you're dead.

You: I'm used to the pressure. This'll be easy.

You're approaching the compound. The outer wall is about ten, maybe eleven feet high, with a gate blocking the entrance. You hid your bag not far away, but well enough that no one will find it. If you need it, you can get it.

Brooklyn: You ready?

You: As ready as I'll ever be.

You pull your pistol out of its holster at your side just in case.

You: They should have seen us by now, right?

Brooklyn: They might not be looking.

You're walking amongst the trees, but still.

You: You'd think they'd have cameras.

Brooklyn: Yeah, but there's no sense in dwelling on it.

You're close, no more than twenty feet away.

You: I bet that gate doesn't open.

Brooklyn: Probably not.

You: I can toss you up to the top of the wall, and you can open it from the inside.

Brooklyn: Alright.

You: Don't die.

Brooklyn: Pfft.
