You step out of the car, help Brooklyn into her wheelchair, and push her through the automatic doors of the facility. Emma is waiting for you just inside the lobby.
Emma: Glad to see you two are alright.
She's been worried the entire time you were gone. You can see it in the new grey bags under her eyes.
Emma: Come with me.
She leads you through familiar halls until you stop by a door. It's your room.
Emma: In.
You: When can we-
Emma: In.
You push Brooklyn inside, over to her bed, and help her up into it.
Emma: I have to make sure you two are alright.
You: Nick-
Emma: Nickolai doesn't know you.
She's in a bad mood. That's new on her. You look at Brooklyn, she shrugs.
Emma: Sit down, Y/N.
She hasn't even turned to look at you. She just knows. She must have eyes in the back of her head... Or, like, something reflective.
Emma: Blood first.
She turns around and ties your arm up as soon as you're in your bed.
You: Any word on Herakles?
Emma: No.
She grabs her syringe and sticks it into your arm.
You: Are you ok?
She pulls the needle free and tapes a cotton ball to your arm.
Emma: I'm fine.
She grabs a new syringe and moves over to Brooklyn.
Brooklyn: You sure? You're not acting normal.
Emma: I am sure.
She takes Brooklyn's blood and walks back to her table of tools.
Emma: How are your memories, Y/N?
You: I got most of them back.
She turns around to look at you. A little shocked by the look on her face.
Emma: You're sure?
You: Yeah. There are a few that are foggy and hard to place, but most of it is there.
Emma: Hm. How does that make you feel?
You: I... I don't know.
Emma: You'll figure it out.
She offers you a quick, warm smile and then turns back to her table.
Emma: Do you have a time you wish to go in?
You: To see Marina?
Emma: Yes.
You: Um... No. Soon.
Emma: Next Thursday.
You: What's today?
Emma: Thursday.
You: Oh.
Emma: You'll be in this room. Brooklyn can come sit in if she'd like.
Brooklyn: Yes, please.
Emma: You'll have twenty-four hours inside, which is a little over eight days. Plenty of time to spend with your daughter.
You: That's... Wow. That's a lot.
