"I don't know man, there's something about her," Sky told Riven as they were training, Alex had been on his since the moment they met however he didn't even know her name
"What, you're smitten after one chat?" Riven teased his blonde friend
The two boys kept fighting until Riven spoke "What is it with you and the crazy ones?" and with that Sky got distracted enough so that Riven could punch his stomach.
Sky groaned as he laughed "How do you know she's crazy? You haven't even met her"
"It's in the eyes mate, girls that pretty are all nuts. Great shags though"
"Speak from experience?" Sky mocked,
Sky knocked Riven from his feet and he fell to the floor sky place his wooden sword to Riven's neck "You got slow this summer"
"Correction. I got high this summer"
"Really?" Sky rolled his eyes
Sky offered his hand to help him up as Riven gladly took it "whatever big brother speech you're about to give me..." Riven started
"There's no speech" Sky interrupted
"... I don't want to hear it" he finished
"A more productive use of your time Would be to distract your aggro father figure so I don't get it expelled and watch out for that girl," Riven said taking out a cigarette placing it behind his ear as he pointed behind him.
Sky turned around and saw Alex walking towards one of the platforms
"Nate!" Alex called for her brother. Ah, yes! Nathan Gray, beloved son to Queen Mariel and King Conrad of Elysium, heir to the throne, second-year specialist at Alfea known as the star of his year and of course one of the hottest dudes in the school, and for those same reasons Alex didn't like people knowing they were related, Alex hated the fact that she was a princess but Nathan was still her brother who Alexandra cherished with her entire soul.
"Alex!" Nate exclaimed when he saw his sister, they both had a close relationship as growing up her parents weren't known as the most affectionate people in the world.
"When did you get here you toad?" Nathan laughed giving his combat partner and himself a break from training
"About an hour ago, I- hold on did you just call me a toad?"
"I did, now come here I haven't seen you all summer" Nate jumped from the platform to hug his sister
"Ew, no you're sweaty" Alex tried wiggling away from Nate's grasp but he was strong however Alex was mentally stronger.
She flicked her hand and Nate's arms were put up in surrender, Alex laughed at her brother who didn't find it funny whatsoever
"Really funny Lex, let me go"
"I should take a picture of you right now, but fine" Alex put her hand down and Nathan was released from her mind control. While all of this was happening Sky was watching from afar the encounter between the two, Sky watched the pair in confusion he wondered how a first-year who had never been at Alfea before knew one of the most well-known second-years
"Anyways I better go I have to get ready for an orientation party or something" Alex rolled her eyes
"I thought you hated parties," Nate said confused
Crowds were never something Alex was looking forward to, too many people equals too many thoughts
"I do" Nate gave her sister a questioning look which Alex answered by saying
