Alex was the first of the girls to wake up, she was a light sleeper and the nightmares she was having ever since she was a child weren't exactly helping. After waking up Alex showered and got changed, after she did Aisha came back from her daily swim and hoped in the shower too. Alex headed to the kitchen to make herself some coffee and as she did Musa came out of her bedroom still in her pajamas
"Coffee?" Musa's eyes landed on the coffee pot next to Alex who was sitting on the counter
"Yeah, want some?" Alex asked
"Please"
Musa leaned on the wall while sipping on the coffee in her mug and Alex was still sitting on the counter eating some cookies and as they did Stella came through they did
"Oh, that outfit's so similar to yesterday's. Same designer?"
'Burn' Alex talked in Musa's head as she laughed
"Do you know how I feel about that joke, or should I tell you?" Stella hissed at Musa
"Where's Bloom?"
'I need my ring back'
Alex scoffed as she laughed at Stella's thought "yeah don't expect that..."
"What was that?" Stella's head darted towards Alex who put her hands in surrender as she giggled to herself
"Anyways where's Bloom?"
"Well, she's had a rough night. Thanks to you, I didn't think those things were real but we all saw them. It was creepy as hell"
"It looked like it wanted to kill her" Alex added
"What about my ring" Stella insisted, Alex didn't like Stella for that same reason, she didn't care about Bloom's state and how she was doing, Stella just wanted her stupid ring back
Bloom came out of her room at that same moment "that burned... thing took it"
"What?"
"Calm down princess" Musa, who could feel Stella's anger building up, told Stella still sipping on her coffee
"Don't tell me to calm down and don't use my title as an insult"
"Wait, are you actually a princess" Bloom wondered as her mind went through castles, balls, beautiful long gowns, and big jewels however from Alex's point of view being a princess wasn't like that at all, it was more like learning proper lady etiquette and piano lessons, being raised to be the best at everything and not being able to have a proper childhood because of that
"Yes, I am, actually. My mum is the queen, and the ring you lost is one of the crown jewels of Solaria. That might not b much to a First Worlder, so feel free to ask Alex how big of a screw-up that is" Stella answered angrily
"Alex?" Musa questioned looking at the brunette sitting on the counter
Alex jumped off the kitchen counter and placed her mug in the sink "shut up Stella" Alex rolled her eyes at the blonde, she hated being reminded that she was a princess. Alex knew that the royalty life wasn't her fate unlike her brother's, Nathan had been raised since age zero to be one of the greatest kings Elysium will ever see and Alex knew that Nate would make a phenomenal king even if she hated the idea of titles marking their destiny
"And to answer your question Stella, it's almost as big as giving it to her in the first place" Alex smiled fakely as she started to put her shoes on
"Ugh, I will figure this out after class but for now, no one says anything to anyone. And can someone make sure that Terra knows that? She can never keep her mouth shut" Stella pushed Terra's, Musa's, and Alex's bedroom open just to reveal Terra struggling to put her clothes on
