"Hilarious. Um, Sky?" Stella, who had just finished listening to Terra's story about a ladybug, spoke up
"Where do you think they're keeping it again?" Stella placed her hand on Sky's shoulder as he tried to answer her question
'What is she doing?' Sky thought forgetting about Alex's abilities
"Uh, there's only so many buildings outside the barrier where-" Sky started explaining but suddenly stopped as he saw someone coming their way
"Where they what?" Bloom asked
"Oh my god" Terra almost gasped
"What?" Musa looked around to see what they were all looking around
"Don't look but like the Nathan Gray is coming our way"
"Oh god..." Alex laughed as the girls got flustered
"Hi, sorry to interrupt, um Lex, you left a notebook in my dorm this morning, I thought I'd give it back" Nate handed a blue notebook to Alex who was now smiling at her brother
"Oh, I was looking for that, thanks Nate"
"No problem, I'll see you later Alex"
"Sky" Nate nodded at Sky as he walked away
"So that's where you were this morning!" Terra gasped
"And your using nicknames!" Aisha laughed
"Guys, can we focus, please" Stella sighed in desperation
"It's not what you think, for once in my life I'll agree with Stella" Alex rolled her eyes
"Thank you, now Sky, you were saying," Stella said impatiently as she looked at Sky waiting for him to continue but his eyes were fixated on a certain brunette who was playing with her energy orb.
Sky laughed softly but Stella interrupted the moment by coughing "right, there's only so many buildings outside the barrier where they can secure a creature like that. There's the barn and the mill but-"
Terra put her finger on the map pointing at the barn "Oh, the barn would be my bet. My dad fortified the beams because he was chaining this wounded horse..."
"So we just have to sneak in there and get my ring"
"Love the way you casually tossed a "we" in there," Alex said sarcastically as she tilted her head looking at Stella
"Yeah, sounds more like a "you" deal" Musa added
"Except I didn't lose it"
"You're the one who gave it to her" Alex rolled her eyes at the blonde who was now scowling at her
"When do we go?" Bloom interrupted the argument between the two girls
Everyone looked at each other and then at Bloom as if she had gone absolutely mad
'I have to do this' the redhead thought
"Are you bloody insane? Bloom, you don't have anything to prove to anyone, especially not to her" Alex was quick to answer, she knew how manipulative Stella could be
"What's that supposed to mean?" Stella glared at Alex
"Gonna be blunt, sorry Bloom but Alex's right, plus you have zero control over your magic. That is if you manage to channel it. Bad idea"
"I lost the ring I'm going to get it back" Bloom persisted
"Guys, maybe we should take a second-" Sky tried to intervene but Stella cut him off
"I think everyone is making a way bigger deal of this than it needs to be... You said the Burned One is locked up, right?"
"Oh, and subdued. I'm pretty sure my dad is distilling this oil that'll subdue it, it's called Zanbaq"
