"Anyways I'm off to class" Alex crashed the awkward silence that was in the air of the Winx suite, Alex grabbed her backpack and headed towards the door but as she was about to reach for the handle Alex was stopped by a voice behind her
"But classes don't start until 9:20" Terra commented looking at the clock on the wall which indicated that it was 8:25 am
"I know"
And with that Alex was off, she wasn't planning on arriving 55 minutes early to class, no. She had met with her brother at his dorm to catch up on everything that had happened this summer, as Alex was sent to France with her aunt all summer she had no idea what had happened at Elysium throughout the summer
Alex sneaked into the specialist's residences just how Nathan had told her to the day before. After a good 10 minutes, Alex finally found Nathan's room through the long and confusing corridors of the building. She knocked on the door and a few seconds later a sleepy-looking Nathan opened the door
"You look like you got hit by a bus" Alex laughed at her brother's state, his sweatpants hung loosely on his hips and his white shirt was all wrinkled up, from all the moving around at night Alex presumed, his brown hair was all over the place and his face looked extremely sleepy
"Shut up" Nate grunted, he moved out of the way so that Alex could enter his dorm
"You have a single dorm!?"
"Yeah, privilege of being top of your year, plus it was either this or sharing with first years and I was not about to do that" Nate shrugged as he sat on his bed
"You got a point" Alex agreed with his brother. She flopped down next to him on the bed "so... did you burn the kingdom down?" Alex joked crossing her fingers in front of her body
"No my dear Alexandra, I didn't burn the realm as much as you'd like that"
"God damn it" Alex snapped her fingers shaking her head as she laughed
"What about how much damage did you do to the French territory?" Nate snickered as his sister rolled his eyes
"Hey! I cherish the french, plus I'm scared of aunt Isabella"
"Yeah, me too"
The two siblings talked and laughed until Alex checked the time on her phone 9:13 am "shit I'm going to be late for class" Nate laughed at his sister who was packing her bag as fast as she could
"I'll see you later Nate, love you" Alex hurried out of the dorm, she wasn't looking forward to being late for her first day of class
"Love you too" Nate yelled after her
Alex ran through the halls of Alfea, she arrived at the stone circle out of breath, where the students were getting settled. Alex took a seat next to Musa who looked at the brunette with confusion "where were you?" Alex shook her hand in dismissal as Ms. Dowling started speaking.
