"Go get your girl Sky"

Sky smiled at the blonde in front of him, he waved goodbye to Stella and started walking towards his girl. Alex was standing on the other side of the field, her smile slowly disappearing and Nate walked away, he had left to go to the infirmary and then back to his dorm to rest. Sky started running as he saw Alex turning around to leave the specialist's hall, "Alex hold up!" he called after the brunette

Alex turned around just to see Sky running after her, his hair was a mess and he was smiling like an idiot. This made her smile a little bit, but then Nate appeared in her mind, and Alex's smile faded

"Oh, hey Sky"

"Hey, I um-" Sky started but quickly noticed the look on Alex's face as she thought about Nathan

"You okay?" he asked placing a hand on her cheek lightly stroking it with his thumb

"Yeah... It's just, Nate... I don't know" Alex sat down on a bench placing her head in her hands

"Hey, hey, hey it's alright, I know how you feel"

"Shit, sorry Sky, how's Silva doing?"

"Sincerely, I don't know, the Zanbaq professor Harvey gives them only manages symptoms, he and Nate won't be okay until they find the Burned One who did this and kill it"

"Yeah..."

Alex placed her head on Sky's shoulder as he intertwined their hands together. The two teenagers understood each other, their pain, sorrow, it didn't matter that Alex was a mind fairy, she knew what Sky was going through without needing to use her powers as she was going through the same, if not worse

"We're a mess..." Alex laughed before sighing

"We are"

"Look Alex, I told Stella how I felt about her, what was left of our relationship is gone" Sky explained looking at Alex in the eyes

"Sky... I don't want you to feel like you have to do these things because of me, I told you I don't want to get in the middle of your-"

"Alex, Alex, stop. I wanted this, okay? Alex, I know we haven't known each other but... I just-" Sky started rambling but was cut off by Alex placing her lips on his, making Sky smile into the kiss

They both pulled away for air as Sky brought Alex into a tight hug burying his head into Alex's neck.

And as this was happening, Silva was watching the two teenagers from afar with a small smile on his lips, even if Sky wasn't his biological son he definitely felt protective towards the blonde boy

Sky noticed that Silva started walking away "I've got to run, I want to go talk Silva"

"Alright, I have class anyways, I'll see you later"

Alex ran to class not wanting to be late, she took a seat next to a boy with black hair who seemed to be a water fairy whose thoughts were filled with a light fairy with auburn hair, in front of Terra and Musa
