"So, it's like the perfect pear, right? What you want me to do. You know how if you eat a pear, it's always rock-solid, and you wait and you wait and it's still a rock and then you touch it one second, it's all rotten and mush" Terra rambled as Alex and Musa gave her a disgusted look while they pictured a mushy looking pear in their minds

"Ugh, I hate pears"

"Same" Alex agreed to Musa's statement as she shook her head in disgust

"Your magic connects you to living things. Feel how they communicate to you. The subtle signals of nature. Pheromones, vibrations. You can give life, but there is such thing as giving too much" Terra's flower bloomed until it overgrew and died.

"Too much is kind of her thing," Musa said making Alex and her partner who she had learned was named Liam and, as Alex predicted, was a first-year water fairy

"Which you can feel cause your an exposed microphone on a windy peak, same as your friend over there" Dowling looked over at Alex who smiled as she gave Musa a thumbs up making her laugh

"Think of focusing on one emotion, in one direction. Narrow the field" Dowling placed a finger in front of Musa's forehead as her eyes changed to a light shade of purple

"Good"

"Alex!" Dowling's attention diverted to Alex who seemed to be bored out of her mind and as the principal's words left her mouth Alex almost fell off her chair but quickly regained balance holding onto the table in front of her

"Yes ma'am?!" Alex responded quickly in a hurried tone making her roommates laugh at the brunette

'Shut it' Alex told all the girls telepathically

"Yes?"

"Your magic is powerful, I haven't seen many fairies with chaos magic"

"I'm sorry, chaos magic?" Alex questioned her teacher

"Yes, dear... chaos magic is an extremely powerful type of magic among the mind fairies. However, it takes a lot of practice to obtain its full potential, but as you've shown me these past few weeks you seem to have a decent control over your powers which is impressive for a fairy of your age."

"Thank you?"

"Focus your energy, feel the force of your powers coursing through your body and focus it on your final goal"

Alex looked at Dowling as she mentioned to the boul full of rocks in front of her, there had to be at least 30 or 40 small pebbles in there and as much as Alex loved using her telekinesis on her daily basis she had never concentred on this many objects before but Alex was not one to turn a challenge down

She channeled her magic as her eyes turned their usual color of crimson red, Alex's hands started to glow red as the pebbles started to lift in the air. Alex closed her eyes focusing on the energy of the stones. Every single thing, living or not, had an energy of its own like something unique as fingerprints, there weren't two identical energies. That was something Alex's mother had explained to her a long time ago, Alex had the ability to see through energy and therefore control and use it to her own liking, that's how Alex moved things with her mind or how she created force fields to use as shields.
