The three teenagers left the greenhouse coming up to one of the many gardens at Alfea, "you guys think they're going to be okay?" Sky ran his hand through his hair
"They have to be..." Alex muttered as Terra and Sky looked back at her
"I'm sorry Alex, I didn't know you guys were that close" Terra placed her hand on brunette's shoulder
"Yeah..."
"How- How long have you guys been a thing?"
"We're not... Nate's my brother" Terra's and Sky's widened at Alex's statement
"Wait, if Nathan is your brother that makes you..." Sky started but suddenly stopped at the realization
"The princess of Elysium" Terra gasped
"Yeah, that's why I don't like people knowing we're related"
Terra and Sky didn't say anything and just started walking towards their respective parts of the school, when Terra noticed Alex wasn't following her she turned around to see Alex standing in the middle of the garden collecting her thoughts
"Alex, you coming?" Terra asked
"Uh, no I'm gonna walk around for a bit, clear my head"
"Oh... alright"
Terra walked away as Alex sat down on the grass leaning on a tree, she thought about everything and anything. Alex wondered about all the things that could happen if Nate didn't make it... Would she have to take on the throne? Rule the whole realm by herself? or would her parents force her into marriage with the first prince that came around?
Alex's head filled with so many thoughts that she didn't even notice the droplet that had just fallen on her skin and before Alex could do anything about it rain started pouring on her.
Her body reacted quickly and Alex started running, however, she didn't go back to her dorm, no. Alex wasn't in the mood to go back to a room of 5 girls whose thoughts revolved around their self-pity for Nate who Alex was sure Terra had told the others about their relationship status
Instead, Alex's body ran the other direction, headed to the specialist's hall. She climbed in the way Nate had taught her, her first day at Alfea, she walked through the endless corridors looking at each dorm's numbers as her instinct guided her to dorm 175 which, coincidently, was Sky's room.
Alex placed herself in front of the door wondering if she should knock or if should just go back to her room, 'this is a bad idea' she thought to herself before she sighed and knocked softly on the door.
Sky was sitting on his bed reading a book when he heard a knock on his dorm door, he was confused over who it could be, Riven told him he was staying the night with his new buddy Beatrix and he was really hoping it wasn't Stella, he didn't have the energy to face her right now.
Sky got up from his bed to go open the door just to reveal Alex standing on the other side of it, her eyes were bloodshot from crying and she was paler than normal which worried Sky seeing the state of the young brunette girl in front of him was.
