"Whew, okay we're finally here." Lya says. "We would've been here sooner if we didn't stop at the clothing store!" Namjoon says looking at Lya. "I couldn't just let her come to this party looking like... How she did before." Lya says. Jalyn looks at her pressing her lips together, "Really? My outfit was not that bad." She says. Lya rolls her eyes and laughs, "Okay sure, whatever you say." Jalyn gasps dramatically, "I am offended." "You should be." Lya says. "Ok, let's go before we don't get in there at all." Namjoon says. Jalyn and Lya get out the car and head towards the door. Namjoon runs up behind them, "I said let's go. Not let's leave Namjoon." Jalyn laughs, "Sorry." "Not sorry." Lya finishes. Namjoon pulls his jacket in frustration and sighs, "Whatever." He says. Lya smiles at Jalyn and they all walk inside of the house. 'Its bigger than I thought it was gonna be.' "Whoa." Lya says. "What do you mean whoa, you've been here before." Namjoon says. "Not with this many people, it's packed in here." She says. Namjoon laughs at this. "Shut up!" Lya says. "Who's party is this?" Jalyn asks. "My friend Jimin." Namjoon answers. 'Who the hell is Jimin?' They all stand there in silence for a minute until Lya clears her throat. "Well, have fun with all these people. I gotta go find some of my friends." Namjoon says. "You have friends?" Lya says. "Wait what?" Jalyn asks, but Namjoon is already walking away. He waves to them but doesn't turn around. "Awesome, what are we supposed to do now?" Jalyn asks Lya. "Man, I don't even know." Lya says not looking at her. "Well maybe we could- Lya!" She yells noticing that she's walking away. "Huh?" "Where are you going?" "To make some friends, and get a drink." She says. "But-" "You'll be okay, I will be right back. Make some friends while I'm gone." She runs off, disappearing in between all those people. 'Sure, she'll be right back. Can't trust nobody.' Jalyn decides to go get a drink and try and make some friends like Lya said. She tries to squeeze past people going towards the bar. "Excuse me, excuse me." She says to everyone she pushes past. She finally gets a view of the bar and makes it, until she sees Jungkook. He notices her, but she turns around really quick. Bumping into someone. 'Damn, this chest feels fit af' The person clears their throat, and Jalyn looks up at them and backs up. Seeing a beautiful man with plump lips and a white dress shirt slightly open. With sunglasses on, 'For some reason.' "I am so sorry, I didn't see you there." He chuckles and touches his chest. Making his eyes close. Jalyn points at him, "Hey, I've seen you before somewhere." "Maybe at one of these parties, I did throw a couple this summer as well." He says. "You threw this party?" Jalyn asks. He nods, "Yep." Jalyn smiles, "Cool. This is a nice house." "Thank you." "You're welcome." She says. He points to the bar, "Were you trying to get a drink before your face bumped into my chest?" She hits him on the arm playfully, "Hey, that was an accident." He smiles, "Okay sure." "Anyway! My best friend left me and said I should make more friends." Jalyn says. "Oh, what kinda friend is that? Leaving you somewhere you've never been before." Jimin says. "I know right!" He raises his eyebrow at her. "Oh, you were being sarcastic." Jalyn says nodding her head. "Well since you have to make friends, would you like to get a drink with me?" Jimin asks. "Sure." Jalyn smiles and they both sit down at the bar.
---------------------------"Yeah, then I changed schools after my dad left, to be far-" Jimin chuckles, then starts laughing silently, but hysterically. Jalyn frowns, "What is so funny?" She asks. Jimin waves his arm and shakes his head sloppily, "Nothing keep going." He says. She looks him up and down and continues with her story, "So like I was sayin-" "Ha, ha, ha." Jimin chuckles again. "Okay see, no. What the hell is so funny?" Jimin clears his throat and then leans on Jalyn, 'What the-' "Hey, do you wanna dance?" He asks. "Do I wanna dance? I was tryna tell you some-" "Shh." Jimin says as he sits up and pulls Jalyn out of her seat. 'Whoa.' "Dance with me." He pulls her into the crowd of people also dancing. He puts her hands around his neck and his around her waist. He smiles at her and Jalyn gives a fake smile. "See, isn't this nice?" Jimin asks. "Sure." Jalyn says. He starts laughing again and puts his head on her shoulder. "Are you drunk?" Jalyn asks. "Pfft, no." He says, still on her neck." 'Ok yeah, he's definitely drunk.' She looks over at where they were sitting, to see how much he had. "Five shots, damn how did I miss that?" She whispers. "Hmm?" Jimin says getting off of her. "Um nothing. Why don't we go sit down?" He chuckles. "Mm mm, no. I'm still dancing with you." He says leaning back down on her shoulder. 'Dang he's heavy.' She changes her stance to keep upright. Making sure they both don't fall. "But Jimin you're drunk." He sighs, "Fine." He starts heading towards the bar, but then Jalyn notices and grabs his hand. "Nope!" She turns him away from the bar. "Aww." He says. "Let's find somewhere else for you to sit." They turn around and Jalyn notices Jungkook getting up from the bar and he walks past them not looking at them at all. 'Has he been there the whole time?' She snaps out of it when she hears Jimin groan. She shakes her head and leads him away from the music and the bar.
They end up going to the back room that had a couch. It took a while because they had to get through all those people. Jalyn takes his arm from her shoulders and pushes him onto the couch, he falls and lays down dramatically. "Boy, stop being so dramatic." He turns his head towards her and smiles. "You should continue to tell your story." He says tiredly. "What? Oh. Nah, that's okay." "No!" He whines and put his hand on her leg. "Tell me." He pouts. "Fine, I'll tell you." "Yay." He says quietly and claps softly. Jalyn smiles and starts again, "Okay, so me and my dad had a really close relationship with each other up until I was about fifteen." Jimin pouts, "Aw what happened." "I honestly don't know. Things just felt different one day, after him and my mom fought. It's like he... Distanced himself from me." "Mm" "I tried to talk to him, but I kept seeing him less and less. He kept saying he was just working but I don't know... It felt really different." She says. "That's terrible." Jimin says. "I know, it got worse and worse until one day... He just left. He left me, he left my mom, he left his family. It feels like I can't talk to anyone else like I talked to him." She sighs, "And my mom works all the time so it feels like there's no one to talk to about him being gone. I'm just, kind of lost I guess." She sighs again. 'Is he going to respond?' She turns to him and sees his eyes closed and him breathing softly. 'Aw, he's cute when he's sleep.' "I'm glad he's drunk, I don't need anyone to remember what I just told him." Jalyn whispers. 'I guess I should go find those people I came with.' She heads back to where the party is and the music is still blasting with people everywhere. 'Or not.' She pushes past people and heads to the stairs, people are on the stairs too. She squeezes past them and opens one of the bedrooms to see two people making out on the bed. "Oh my god!" She yells, and they look up at her. 'Shit.' She closes the door quickly before they can say anything. She heads towards the end of the hallway and opens another door to find Jungkook sitting on one of the beds with his head down. "Sorry." Jalyn says and starts to head out. "No, it's fine." Jungkook says. She turns to him slowly, "Huh?" He chuckles. "You can sit in here if you want to." He says patting the spot next to him. Jalyn shuts the door and heads toward the bed but swerves and sits down in a chair. "Nah, I'm good." She says. "Really? I'm not that bad of a person." Jungkook says. Jalyn rolls her eyes. "Yeah okay." "I'm serious!" He yells. "Okay fine! You're not that bad of a person." Jalyn says. "You know how you can show me?" He asks. "No! I'm not doing anything sexual!" She yells. He laughs and then frowns. "I was just gonna say that you could come sit down next to me." "Oh." Jalyn says and gets out of her seat. She goes to the bed and sits down next to him. He smiles and she rolls her eyes, "Did you not have to work your two jobs today? Why are you here?" She asks. He stops smiling and looks down at his lap, "Um, no I didn't." She leans over and bumps him, "I was just messing with you. I don't care." "Oh." He says not looking at her. "What's wrong with you now?" "Nothing." He says. "That's a WHOLE lie, seriously what's wrong?" He looks up at her. "You're sitting on my bed." 'Huh?' She raises her eyebrow, "What? No I'm not, this is a random bed in Jimin's house." "No, you're sitting on my bed, in my room, in Jimin's house." He says. "For real?" Jalyn asks. He nods. "Well what's so bad about that? This is a nice house." He looks down again, "I'm not gonna stay here for much longer." "What do you mean?" He sighs and bites his lip. "I don't know where my parents are." He says, "Oh." Jalyn says and raises her eyebrows. "So, Jimin let me stay with him for about six months." "That's nice." Jalyn says and smiles. "But, his parents HATE me and they're kicking me out." He says and licks his lips still looking down. "So, that's why I have two jobs. Because I have to find my own place in about three weeks." Jalyn sighs. "That's terrible, but you'll get through it." He nods. "I don't know where my dad is either." She says and looks down. Jungkook looks up at her, "Really?" He asks. Jalyn nods slowly and sadly. "I didn't know that." Jungkook says, she looks up at him and shrugs her shoulders. "Guess we both learned something new today." He nods his head understanding, and looks at her lips then back at her eyes. She does the same and leans in slowly. He leans in as well and they get so close that their lips are almost touching, Jalyn's hand comes up to touch his neck. But then someone opens the door, they move away from each other really fast as the person comes in. "Hey, Jalyn." "Hm?" "Namjoon was looking for you." Lya says. Jalyn nods her head, "Okay." She stands up and leaves the room, not looking at Jungkook at all. Lya stands in the doorway until Jalyn leaves, then she comes in the room and closes the door. Jungkook stands up slowly and Lya comes towards him looking confused and mad. "What the hell was that about?" She asks. "What do you mean?" He says. "Don't play dumb with me, why were y'all in here with the door closed?" He shrugs his shoulders, "We were just talking." He says innocently. Lya looks him up and down, "You better had just been talking." She turns and opens the door to leave the room. Jungkook doesn't follow her at first, but then Lya turns around. "Let's get back to the party." She tilts her head. Jungkook nods and heads out, closing the door behind him.
