Lya takes her phone out from her back pocket and starts to call Jungkook. No answer. "Why isn't he answering my calls?" She goes downstairs and leaves the house. She decides to walk to the bridge they went to before to see if he's there. She doesn't see him. She takes out her phone to call Namjoon to ask if he's seen him but shakes her head and turns it off. 'I don't want to talk to him right now.' She takes out her phone to call Jayln but then remembers she doesn't have her phone number. 'Damn it.' She decides to walk back home hoping that Namjoon isn't there. She enters the house to see Namjoon coming from his bedroom. She rolls her eyes and starts heading towards her bedroom. "Lya!" Namjoon calls. She turns to him, "What?" She asks. "Are you okay?" He asks, and Lya shrugs her shoulders. "I'm fine." Namjoon raises his eyebrow, "Are you sure you aren't mad? because you haven't been speaking to me since last night." Lya shakes her head, "I'm not mad, I'm not mad at all that you didn't tell me that you wanted to be a teacher." "Lya-" "I'm not mad that you told my friend before me at all." Namjoon sighs and looks down while Lya walks up to him. "I am your sister, you were my first best friend." She says. "I know," Namjoon says. "Then why didn't you tell me?" She asks. Namjoon doesn't respond. "I'm so tired of you not telling me things, just answer the question!" She yells. "Because I didn't want you to be upset!" Namjoon yells back. Lya just stares at him for a moment, "Yeah well, I'm upset aren't I?" Namjoon nods slowly. "So much for that plan." Lya says and walks away. She stops in her tracks and turns back to Namjoon. "Can you give me Jalyns number?" She asks. "She's your best friend and you don't have her number?" He says. "I didn't ask for all that, are you gonna give me her number or not?" Lya responds. Namjoon frowns, "No." Lya turns up her face at him, "Why not?" "Because you aren't really talking to me, and you are mad at me." He says. "I think that I have a right to be mad at you for lying to me." "I didn't lie to you," Namjoon says defensively. "Yes, you-" Lya stops mid-sentence, "You know what? It doesn't even matter, she doesn't have her phone anyway." She says and heads toward the front door. "Where are you going?" Namjoon asks. Lya grabs his car keys off of the hook and heads out of the door. "I know where she lives." She says before closing it shut. "So you just gonna take my car?!" Namjoon yells, but Lya is already gone. He sighs and goes outside to try and get his keys back, "Lya!" He yells. She waves from the driver's seat as she pulls off. She drives around for about fifteen minutes before finding Jalyns house, 'I believe this is it, let's hope it is and I'm not knocking on some stranger's home.' Lya parks the car and walks up to Jalyns house. She knocks on the door and sighs. It takes a few seconds but someone opens the door. An average height light-skinned lady smiles and says, "Hi. Can I help you?" Lya smiles back and says, "Yes. Does Jalyn live here?" the lady raises an eyebrow and looks Lya up and down. "Who wants to know?" She asks. Lya chuckles, "I do. I'm a friend from school and I just wanted to talk to her." "Oh, well in that case yes she does live here." Jalyn's aunt holds her arm out to the side to let Lya in the house. She steps inside and waits at the door, Her aunt closes the door behind her. "I'll be right back. You can have a seat if you want to." Lya shakes her head, "Oh no it's fine." She says. Jalyns aunt nods her head and heads upstairs, "Jalyn your little friend is here to see you?" Jalyn raises her eyebrows at her aunt. "Little friend?" She asks. "Yeah, your friend- What's your name sweetie?!" Her aunt yells down the stairs. "Um, Lya!" She answers. Jalyns aunt looks back at her, "Yeah that." "You ain't even know her name, auntie Patrice?" "Nope." Jalyn rolls her eyes, get's out of the bed, and heads downstairs. She sees Lya and waves lightly, "Hey Lya what's up?" "Um, nothing much I just wanted to talk to you." She says. Jalyn sits down on the couch and pats the seat next to her, "Come sit next to me." Lya hesitates at first, then takes off her shoes and sits down next to Jalyn. "I wanted to talk to you outside." Lya says nudging her head towards the front door. "It's fine, no one's listening to us if you're worried about that. My auntie's upstairs reading a book." Jalyn says while nodding. Lya nods as well, "Uh okay then." "So what did you want to talk about?" She asks. "Have you seen Jungkook today?" Jalyn scrunched up her face at this question. "No, I barely talk to him." She answers. "Oh, 'cause I was looking for him today and I couldn't find him." Lya says. "Well, I haven't seen him lately." Jalyn says. "Really?" Jalyn nods her head with a straight face. "What about last night?" Lya asks. Jalyn thinks for a moment and then opens her mouth wide, "Oh yeah!" She says surprised. "What?" "He drove me home last night." Jalyn says. "That's it?" She asks. "Well, he also made me spill wine on myself and gave me an extra set of clothes." "Aw, those were some cute clothes. Where are they? Did you wash them?" Lya asks pouting and looking around for the clothes. "Oh, no. I left them in his room." Jalyn answers. "Oh... you left them in his room." "Yeah." Jalyn says slowly looking at Lya. "So those were your clothes." Lya says quietly to herself. "Huh?" Jalyn says. "Nothing!" Lya answers quickly. "Um, okay then." "So, do you happen to have Jungkooks number at all? he's not answering his phone." Lya asks. Jalyn looks at her stupidly, "Child, I'm on punishment remember? I don't have my phone to get anyone's number." Lya slaps her forehead, "Oh yeah! I keep forgetting that. I guess I'm just eager to find Jungkook." She says. 'Eager to find Jungkook, why? does she like him or something?' Lya waves both of her hands quickly, "I mean, me and Namjoon are eager to find him since... you know, that's his best friend." She says and Jalyn nods her head slowly. "Yeah, okay." "Um anyway, I was just at his house. I can bring you your clothes if you want." "Oh no, it's fine. Jungkook said that he was going to bring them to me tomorrow at school." Jalyn says. Lya frowns, "But I insist-" "Also, it's late in the day and I'm still on punishment. I can't risk having you come here and bring my party clothes when my mom arrives." She says. Lya nods, "Okay, I get that." "So I'll see you tomorrow?" Jalyn asks. "Of course." They both get up from the couch and head towards the front door. Jalyn opens it for her and Lya leaves. She closes it shut and thinks, 'Maybe I should've told her that me and Jungkook kissed. What was the worst that could've happened?' Lya also stands at the door for a minute and thinks, 'I feel like she's not telling me everything. But I don't want to make assumptions at all.' Jalyn sighs and walks away from the door and heads back upstairs. When she's about to enter her room her aunt says something. "What are you not telling her?" She asks. Jalyn jumps frightened. She puts her hand on her chest and tries to catch her breath. "Auntie! you can't scare me like that." Jalyn says as she enters the guest room her aunt is in. Her aunt waves her hand, "Girl you will be okay." "You don't know that." "Yes I do, I know everything, now tell me... What aren't you telling her?" Jalyn presses her lips together and looks at her aunt. "I thought you knew everything." She says jokingly. "Girl you better hurry up and tell me, I ain't got all day." Her aunt says. "Fine, I kissed Jungkook!" She tells her aunt. Her aunt sits up from the bed and comes to the edge of it. "You did what?" She asks. "I kissed Jungkook." Her aunt pauses for a moment and then squints at her, "Like, kiss-like a peck or like a kiss-kiss?" "A kiss-kiss?" Jalyn asks kind of confused. "You know... Like a make-out session." Her aunt clarrifies. "Oh... the second option i guess." Jalyn says hessitantly. "Ooh I see you! So why didn't you tell your little friend?" She asks. "Well, I don't know. What if he doesn't want me to tell anybody? or what if Lya likes him?" Jalyn says. Her aunt waves her hand and rolls her eyes, "She will get over it. And who cares about Junglebook or whatever, he'll be okay if you tell one person." "I don't know." "Stop over-thinking it. If you don't want to tell anyone that's fine, if you do, that's fine too. But make sure you are making these decisions because you want to, not because of anybody else." Jalyn's aunt says. "Thanks auntie." "You're welcome, I told you I know everything." Jalyn rolls her eyes as her aunt get's back in her bed to read her book. She leaves the room and goes back to hers, she takes out a book and lies down on her bed. 'I'll tell her tomorrow, I don't wanna lie to her.'
