IDK how I made this. Ignore it please.
I stomped my foot onto the floor after forgetting which note I was supposed to play- which had happened many times.
"Having trouble?"
"This better not be you, Nott-"
"Huh?"
"Oh good. Hi, Carina." I cleared my throat.
"Don't you think you should take a break? You've been-"
"No! I mean.. Well- fine."
"Good! Now let's-"
"I still have to go to fencing class. Aris's going to kill me if I fail next week," I buried my head into my hands.
"You're overworking yourself," Carina huffed, and leaned against the door. "Just one break. Please?"
"Fine. Just ONE."
"Then let's go!" she grabbed my hand, and I instantly regretted my decision. I took a break for 2 HOURS straight.
"Can I just go?" I whined.
"But we've just got started-"
"I'm going," I decided, and headed off.
"Aw, seriously?"
"Seriously," I muttered back, even if she didn't hear me.

One Week Later...
"I'm so not prepared!" I whispered frantically. "Where is my stuff?" "Aha! Found this.. When did that get here? YES! Got that.. Where's my bag? Don't tell me I left it outside.. There it is.."
I pulled my socks on and wore my shoes. "Finally," I breathed.
Running out, I slammed into someone. Nott. My day couldn't get worse than that.
"Excuse me- I'm running really late right now-" I looked up. "Are you kidding me?"
"Where you going?"
"None. of your business,"
"Why not?"
I pushed past him. "Hey, come back here, you-" but I was long gone.
"Eek! Sorry I'm late.. Uh,"
"Diana!" waved Michelle. "You're late," she said. "We're stretching. C'mon."
I nodded and set my bag down. Peering at the stands, I spotted Nott glaring at me.
"What are you doing there?" I mouthed at him.
He gave me a smug look, and I narrowed my eyes at him. "You-"
"Stop exchanging looks with your lover boy," growled Aris.
"H-he's not-" I spluttered.
"I don't care. Get dressed."
I gave him a seriously? face but he already left.
"Pools are out!" I heard someone whisper.
I went onto my phone, and sure enough, they were out.
