Chapter 53: I have a girlfriend

"What if I went with you?" You ask and his eyes snap to yours.

"I couldn't ask you to do that" Draco says, his voice low.

"You're not asking, I'm suggesting" You say but he shakes his head slowly.

"Y/n I don't want you over there, it's not safe" He says softly.

"Draco, if it's not safe then I don't want you going alone. Please just at least think about it, okay?" You say with a small smile and he nods.

"I'll think about it, but no promises" He says and you smile, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Now let's go to that party!" Draco says and you laugh, walking hand in hand with him.

You change into a gorgeous red dress with a low back cut that stops above the knees. You walk out of your dorm and down to where the party was being help.

"You look gorgeous, like always" Draco compliments you, making you blush.

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself" You say and he smiles.

"I look great, I know" He says with a smirk and you laugh.

"You're such a dork" You say and he smiles.

"Only around you" He says, kissing you on the cheek. You both keep walking until you get to the party and smile at the sound of music being played and people talking.

"I'm going to go get a drink, do you want anything?" Draco ask you but you shake your head.

"No, I'm alright, thank you" You say and he nods, heading to get himself a drink. You find your friends and immediately go to them.

"Hey guys!" You say and they all smile, hugging you.

"Hey y/n!" They say, you all talk for the whole night with Draco by your side. After hours of dancing, talking and just having fun it was getting late and you were getting tired. You didn't have any alcohol to drink so you were completely sober. You helped your friends get to their dorms safely and then go back for Draco. You walk back into the room and he's sitting on a couch, about to doze off.

"Come on, Draco." You say trying to help him off the couch. He opens his eyes slightly and shoves you off.

"I have a girlfriend" He slurs out through his drunken voice. You smile at him, so happy that even though he's plastered he'd say that.

"I know, I'm your girlfriend" You laugh and Draco keeps his eyes close.

"I think I'd know who my girlfriend is. She's drop dead gorgeous and amazing" He stutters but gets through the sentence. You squat down so you're at his hight level.

"Draco, darling, open your eyes" You say softly and he slowly opens them. As soon as he sees you he smiles like a little kid.

"Y/n! You're here. There was some girl trying to hit on me" He says, looking around him as if the person walked away. 

"I know Draco, come on" You laugh, helping him up. You take him to your dorm and set him on the bed, slipping off his shoes. You take a quick shower and when you get out, Draco's already passed out, snoring softly. You crawl in the bed beside him and cuddle up next to him. His arm finds your waist as he pulls you closer to him in his sleep, snuggling up next to you. Sleep finds you easy that night as you hold onto Draco and he holds onto you. There was no place you'd rather be.

The next morning you wake up to the sound of someone moving. You open your eyes and see Draco sitting on the edge of your bed, putting on his shoes.
