Chapter 54: shopping

"Coming, mum." Draco says and turn back around giving me a cheeky smile. "I'll be right back" He says, kissing me on the cheek.

I wait for about an hour, laying on his bed. I just about drift off to sleep when I hear the door creak open. I open my eyes and look up at Draco.

"Hey" I say sleepy.

"Hey" Draco says, changing into some pajamas.

"You okay?" I ask, looking at him.

"Yeah, my mum just wanted to tell me about something" He says, sliding into the bed with me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask, letting him wrap his arms around me.

"Not right now" He answers and I nod. We lay like that for a couple minutes when I turn over, resting my head on his chest.

"Draco" I whisper

"Yea?" He answers

"I love you" I say and I can hear his heart beating faster.

"I love you too" He says and rubs my back slightly. We both drift off to sleep easy after our long trip here.

I wake up the next morning so see Draco still asleep. I know he doesn't get a lot of sleep so I just let him sleep in as long as he can. I read a book I brought with me for about an hour until he finally starts to stir awake.

"Good morning," He smiles, his eyes still closed.

"Good morning," I reply, marking my page on my book and looking at him.

"How did you sleep?" He asks, pulling me closer to him and cuddling up next to me.

"Fine, how did you sleep?" I asks as he nuzzles his head closer to my neck.

"Good with you by my side" Draco says and I smile like a little kid.

"You're a dork" I laugh, turning to face him. He opens his eyes and gives me a kiss on the cheek. "Do we have any plans for today?" I ask and he thinks for a moment.

"We're having a party at the house tomorrow so we are going shopping" Draco says and I can tell he's not excited about it at all. To be fair neither was I, I hated shopping.

"Ugh" I groan and he laughs.

"I know, I don't want to either" He says and I smile.

"What's the party for?" I question.

"I don't really know, we've had one every year since I can remember" Draco explains and I nod.

"So we're going to bored the entire time?" I joke and he laughs.

"Basically" He smile. We both stay laying for a couple more minutes until he gets up. "Come on, let's go get some breakfast" He says, holding his hand out to help me up. I grab his hand and let him pull me up, leading me the way to the kitchen.

As soon as we walk downstairs the smell of food hits me like a truck. My mouth started getting watery just smelling it. Draco seems to be having the same thoughts because he walks a little faster. When we get to the kitchen we see all kinds of food served out. Eggs, waffles, toast, pancakes, just about everything.

"Go ahead and dig in" Draco's mum, or Ciss says. Draco smiles and grabs me and him a plate, putting stuff he knows I like on it. While he's doing that I make him and I a cup of apple juice and we take a seat at the table. So far I was loving Draco's house, but then again we haven't seen his father yet. I was nervous for when that time came.

"Are you kids ready for some shopping?" Cissy says excitedly and Draco groans.

"I just can't wait to see y/n in a gorgeous dress" Draco says, winking at me and I turn beat red.
