Chapter 18: he what.

You roll your eyes and say, "Malfoy?"

He doesn't answer and they keep kissing so you say a little louder,

"Malfoy!" The girl pulls away and looks at you, she gets in your face and says,

"What bitch?" Your mouth drops and you say,

"I'm sorry, I didn't know your name was Malfoy." Shes about to say something else when you interrupt her, "you know what? It wasn't important anyways." You turn back around frustrated all you wanted was to finish your stupid potions work, guess you'll have to convince Hermione to help you. You're about to start working on it when you hear,

"Stupid mud blood" you get right in her face and say,

"I'm sorry?" She gets closer in your face and says,

"Stupid. Mud blood." You lean in closer and say,

"I dare you to say it again" she opens her mouth to do it when you're about to sock her right in her disgusting pug face. You feel someone grab you, thinking it's Hermione you try to shake her off. Either she got way taller and a lot stronger or it's not Hermione holding you. You look up and see Malfoy and get more mad. You try to calm down and get out of his grip,

"Get off of me" you growl at him but all he does it hold you tighter. You stomp on his foot and snake out of his grip.

"I said get off!" He looks at you angry because you just kicked him.

"Y/n" he growls at you causing you to look at him in the eye. He takes a step closer to you and grabs your wrist dragging you out of the classroom. Once you get out of the classroom you get out of his grip and he takes a step closer to you.

"Don't" you warn, you don't mean to be a dick but you're really mad and you don't want to do or say something you don't mean. He scoffs,

"Why are you so jealous?" You say rather loudly,

"Jealous?" He looks at you nodding. "Malfoy you wish I was jealous of that pug face." You say looking at her as she walked out of the classroom. You look back at Malfoy.

"Oh yeah because you almost fighting Pansy because we were snogging doesn't scream jealous!" He says almost laughing.

"No actually I was about to fight pug face because she called me a mud blood." You get right in his face and say, "not everything revolves around you Malfoy." You say through your teeth. "Keep dreaming though, it's cute thinking you could get me" you say mad as you walk out of the hallway. As you turn around the corner you see Pansy hanging on Draco saying,

"Dracie poo she was so mean to me!" You try to hold in a laugh and walk away.

You walk into the great hall seeing your friends already there. You smile trying to get what just happened out of your mind, all you wanted was to have one normal day! You smile and sit down and smile,

"Hey guys!" They smile at you and Ron says,

"Hey y/n- are you okay?" You look at him,

"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" Hermione lifts her head from the book and Harry turns to look up at you.

"Well your hairs all messed up, your eyes are kind of blood-shoot and you have-" he pauses, you look at him trying to figure out what he was going to say.

"What?" You ask still looking over your body

"Are those bruises?" You look at him confused and he grabs your wrist causing you to flinch in pain. You look down and sure enough you had a fresh bruise forming on your wrist from where Malfoy grabbed you and you hadn't even noticed.

'Great now how am I going to explain this to them.' You think. They all give you a confused look and you take a deep breath,

"I'll tell you guys about it later? I just want to have a normal rest of my day" they all nod but Harry doesn't take his eyes off you. You look at him and give him the 'I promise' look and he nods going back to his dinner. You guys all eat and laugh, finally a normal dinner!

"Hey Mione, long story but Malfoy's not going to help me with potions so please?!" You give her your best puppy eyes and she says,

"Ugh fine but if I get in trouble I'm so taking you down" you laugh and say,

"Deal"

You get up and head out of the great hall. As soon as you open the door you hear a hideous voice. 'So much for a normal dinner' you groan, knowing pug face is going to try something so you have your hand above your wand ready to fire back. You hear her mutter

'Stupefy' so you put up a blocking spell,

'Finite incantatem' you mutter back and see it works. Pansy now stunned, you shoot her a wink and keep walking with your friends. Luckily none of them even noticed or if they did notice they didn't say anything.

Almost as soon as you guys get into your common room Ron drags you by your good wrist to your dorm, the other two following. They close the door and you sit on your bed.

"Okay spill" you sigh and say,

"Okay but first, it's not a big deal so nobody get mad." You look at Harry and see a shade of pink come across his cheeks. He nods saying he understands.

"Well I went up to Malfoy because i just wanted to get stupid potions work done and he was snogging some girl so I got his attention and she got in my face, calling me a mud blood." You pause, they nod saying to continue but Ron interrupts,

"I bet you punched her didn't you" you smile and laugh at Ron's guess.

"Well I tried to but Malfoy grabbed me before I could." You hold up your fingers so they're almost touching.

"I was this close to knocking her out" they all laugh

"Okay so the wrist?" Harry says concerned.

"Okay yeah," you chew on your lip nervously. "He dragged me out by my wrist and I guess that's where it's from, I don't know I didn't even notice it until you said something." Harry and Ron clench their jaw, you've never  seen Ron mad before so you were confused.

"I'm sorry... Malfoy did that to you?" Ron spoke softly, venom dripping out of his mouth as he said 'Malfoy'. You nod your head and you can practically see the smoke coming out of their ears. You look at Hermione who looks nervous, unsure what to say.

"It's okay though because it doesn't even hurt and I didn't even know that it was there!" Harry stands up about to leave but you grab his hand before he could reach the door handle.

"Harry you promised you wouldn't get mad" you look at him in the eyes and he says,

"But he hurt you" you sigh and say

"Yes but he also saved me from probably getting expelled for beating up pug face." He doesn't move so you say,

"Please?" He hesitates but agrees, Ron looks at him like he's crazy.

"You may of promised her but I didn't" and with that he turns and leaves the room.
