Chapter 55: 'trust me?'

"Please don't, I don't mean to be arrogant but we have enough money. Let me spoil my future daughter in law" She says and my face immediately goes beat red. She notices my face and laughs softly. "Come on and let's go pay" She says with a smile. I got back inside the changing room and change into my normal clothes and we pay for the dress. After we finished paying we head outside. I open the door, only to run into someone. I fall on the floor and land with a thud, I look up and see.

"Ron?" I question, looking up at my best friend.

"Y/n?" He questions, helping me up and immediately pulling me into a hug.

"Oh my gosh, how are you?" I ask and he laughs.

"Good, but bored ever since you left. When are you coming back?" He question.

"I have on clue" I answer honestly. "Oh Cissy, meet Ron my best friend and Ron meet Cissy, Draco's mum" I say with a smile.

"Hi dear!" She says with a smile and Ron who looked nervous at first relaxes.

"Weasley?" We hear from behind me and I turn around to see Draco.

"Hey, guess who we ran into" I say with a smile.

"I'm going to guess Ron" He says with a forced smile.

"Hey Draco" Ron says but I can tell it's forced as well.

"What are you doing here?" Draco asks but his tone rude. I elbow him and he mutters and ow.

"Oh, just shopping for the new book for Potions" Ron says and then thinks. "When are you guys coming back anyways?" Ron questions and I look at Draco.

"Um, it should be in a few days maybe?" I say, looking at Draco to see if that was correct and he slightly nods.

"Oh okay, I don't want you to get too far behind. I'll owl your homework to you" Ron says with a smile and we both say goodbye.

"Have you picked out your dress?" Draco asks as soon as Ron walks away, changing the topic.

"Yes" I answer with a smile.

"Ouhh let me see!" Draco says like a little kid.

"Nope, it's a surprise" I tease and Cissy laughs.

"You'll just have to wait" Cissy agrees and Draco groans. "Oh dear, we've lost track of time. We should get going" She says and we nod, following her. Soon enough we get back to the manor and I hide my dress so Draco can't find it. After that I go in the bathroom and take out my earrings, only to feel a pair of arms being wrapped around me. I smile and lean my head into his touch as he kisses my cheek.

"I want to show you something" Draco says and I look at him through the mirror.

"What is it?" I question and he smiles. He releases me from his arms and steps towards his door, holding his hand out to me.

"Trust me?" He asks with a devilish smile and I smile back, grabbing his hand. We walk out of the manor hand in hand and head into a part of the woods.

"Is this the part where you kill me? Because I can easily take you down with my wand" I tease and he laughs, leading me with his hand.

"We both know I could take you in a dual any day" He jokes back and I get reminded back to the night of the astronomy tower. Both of us hated one another and we wanted to dual even though we barely knew each other. It ended in both of us being knocked out so technically it was a tie but still. After a couple more minutes of walking we finally make it to a clear way.

"Oh my gosh" I say, taking in the scene in front of me. It was a full garden of gorgeous flowers, plants and even some food. There was even a lake with a small waterfall behind it.

"Do you like it?" Draco asks, looking at me as I take in the sight.

"Draco, this is beautiful" I answer, looking back at him to see his handsome smile.

"You're more beautiful" Draco answers. Even though it's the most corniest and cheesiest things he's ever said I still blush.

"Thank you" I answer, looking back at the water. "How did you find this place?" I question and he starts walking, leading me towards the water. We both sit down on the edge and stick our feet in the cool water and for a second I think he's not going to answer me.

"I used to come here a lot as a kid. When mum and dad would fight about stuff" He answers, looking down at the water as he moved his feet in it.

"It's gorgeous" I say and he looks at me. I know he doesn't like to feel like he's being pitted so I didn't say I'm sorry or anything. I was just here for him, like he needs me to be. He puts his hand on mine that's resting on my leg.

"I'm glad you're here" He says, looking out at the water.

"Really?" I question, turning to look at him as he does that same and he nods.

"You make everything.." He pauses trying to find the right words. "Better. You make me better" He finishes, looking at me.

"You make everything better for me too" I say and he smiles.

"Even though I get jealous super easy and I'm a hot head" He jokes and we both laugh.

"It's kind of hot when you're jealous and mad" I answer and he smirks.

"I'll keep that in mind" Draco says with a wink and I laugh, smacking his arm. 

We both sit in silence, just looking out over the water. Enjoying the view and each others presence. Before we knew it the sun was starting to go down, which meant the party was going to begin in a couple hours. We decide to head back so I can shower and so we both can get ready.

We both had decided not to see each other until it was time for the party. I was in the guest bedroom, slipping on my dress and putting on my heels. I paired the dress with a beautiful silver necklace and bracelet. I put on some matching earrings and did my hair. After I was finished getting ready I looked amazing. I'm just finished putting in my earrings when there's a knock at the door.

"Y/n, It's me." Draco says and I go to the door, opening it.

"Yes?" I questions and take in his serious face.

"We need to talk." He says and walks in the room, shutting the door behind him.

"What's wrong?" I ask as he looks everywhere but me. "Draco?" I ask once he doesn't reply but he continues to look at the floor.

"Do you trust me?" He repeats from earlier.

"What's this about?" I ask and he finally brings his eyes to mine.

"Y/n" He says softly as he walks towards me slowly. I hold my ground and look at him, taking in him in his suit.

"Are you okay?" I question, brining my eyes to his once again.

"Do you trust me?" He repeats his voice shaky. When I don't say anything he rests his forehead against mine, tears streaming down his face. "Please just answer me." He whispers so softly I barely hear it.

"Yes" I answer without a second thought.
