Chapter 6: the note

You look around trying to find another way out when he taps his finger on his cheek, signifying what he wants.

"Excuse me?" You spit out.

"Give me a kiss and I'll let you go" you scoff, can't believing what you just heard.

"Are you mad? No!"

"Fine then I guess we'll stay here all day" he sighs looking at his watch. As soon as he looks down you slide under the table, grabbing your bad as you stood up. He looks back at you to see you're not there. He looks to the side and sees you across the room about to walk out of the room. You smirk and say,

"Have fun waiting there all day" you blow him a kiss and a wink as you walk out. He looks at you as you walk out and is baffled. He thinks 'why doesn't she want me? Every girl wants me?! What's wrong with her?'

You go to your common room as you have some time between first and second. You find the 'golden trio' sitting on the couch. Harry sees you and stands up,

"Where did you go after first?!" You roll your eyes and say

"Draco trapped me in the room and wouldn't let me go unless I gave him a kiss" they all are at a lose of words as Harry seems mad at you. Hermione spits out,

"You didn't kiss him did you?" You laugh

"Merlins beard no!" Harry relaxes and you snort from laughing so hard. Ron looks confused and says,

"So how did you get out of there?"

"I outsmarted him" you say proudly and continue, "as soon as he looked at his watch I slid under the table and walked out" you and Ron laugh for a little when you continue, "Blimey you should of seen his face as I walked out of the door!" This makes Ron burst out laughing with you and Hermione but Harry still looked upset. After you guys talk for a little Hermione says,

"Okay let's get to second" you all nod walking out of the common room when Harry grabs your hand, gently pulling you back. You look at him confused and say,

"Harry are you alright?" He looked mad

"Do you like him?" Harry asks straight forward, he looks mad as if he already knew the answer.

"Who? Malfoy?" You ask, snorting. When Harry nods and doesn't say anything you say, "bloody hell, no! He's and arrogant git!" Harry seems a little relaxed but still a little upset.

"Okay good" he says.

"Why? What's up?" You ask and Harry looks at you and says,

"Nothing, just promise me you'll stay away from him?"

"What? Why?" He seemed to get mad again.

"Because he's no good!" He shouts at you. You're taken back by this, grabbing your hand back from his. You're about to walk out when you say,

"I think I can decide that for myself" and walk out. You hear,

"Y/N!" As you walk out, heading to second period. Second period was pretty boring because you had assigned seats. Ron, Harry and Hermione and you sat on opposite corners of the room. After second period you head to lunch with your friends, still ignoring Harry.

You're all talking and eating, then after lunch Harry asks you to stay back , while you don't want to you don't want to hold a grudge so you agree.

"I'm sorry." He starts

"I'm sorry too" you reply and he shakes his head replying,

"Why are you sorry? You have nothing to be sorry about?" He questions

"I shouldn't of held a grudge against you, you obviously didn't mean to raise your voice." You laugh and he agrees.

"No I didn't, I just don't want to see you get hurt by him." You ignore his statement and continue.

"I just don't deal with people yelling well because of..." your voice betrays you and you choke out, "my dad" you cough trying to cover it up.

"Yea...I really am sorry" You shake your head taking his hand in yours.

"It's okay, really" He pulls you into a hug and you tuck your head in the crook of his neck, he smelled like a fresh summers days. You blush as you both pull away, he smiles as you smile back.

"Well we should get to class" You nod and smile. You had class with Draco and Hermione., you sat by Hermione in the front of the classroom while  Draco sat in the back with his annoying group. You and Hermione were talking when Malfoy came up, Hermione bites her lips nervously as if she was debating to tell you something. You give her a look and she finally says

"The reason Harry doesn't want you to hang out with Malfoy is..." she pauses
"He played every girl he's ever been with. He uses them for sex and then never talks to them again" your taken back by this, not surprised but a little... hurt? Why were you hurt? You just nod saying you understood and she dropped it.

You and Hermione finish you work early and turn it in, talking to each other for the rest of class. Hermione ask to use the restroom and as soon as she walks out the door a note in the shape of a dove flies in, landing on your desk. You look at the note and smile without knowing.
