Chapter 7: meeting up

You open the note and it says
"Meet me at the astronomy tower at 10 tonight" you look back at Draco who's staring at you as if he's waiting for an answer. You are about to mouth something when Hermione walks back in the classroom, you swiftly tuck the note into your bag and turn around, ignoring him for the rest of class. Listening to what Harry had told you,

"He's no good" replaying in your head. You snap back to reality as Hermione is waving her hand in front of your face.

"Hello??" She says confused

"Huh? Oh sorry, I zoned out" she smiles and says

"It's okay, you just had me worried for a second" you both laugh and head out of the class. As you walk out you see Draco leaning against the wall, talking to some girl. You don't know why but it angered you seeing him talking to another girl so close. You guys are about to walk away when he sees you two and stops his conversation. The girl was mid sentence, she scoffed as he walked towards you guys.

"Ahhh what do we have here?" You and Hermione look at each other. You could tell she was scared but you didn't understand why, or why she let him push her around. He steps closer to you guys, looking directly at you, you wait for Hermione to say something but she's looking at the floor. You step slightly in front of Hermione and you can see her relax a little bit.

"What do you want Malfoy?" You spit out at him

"Who said you could talk?" He looks down at you and your mouth falls in disbelief. Hermione looks at you and she could tell you were about to do something you were going to regret.

"Excuse you?" You scoff looking him dead in the eye, taking a step closer to him.

"You heard me" he says looking down at you

"Last I recall you're not my mother" you say instantly regretting it as he laughs, you could tell he was going to say something about your mother.

"Ahh your mother" he takes a step closing the gap between you two. He looks down at you and continues,
"The filthy mudblood" this boils your blood. He's about to say something else when you swing your arm back about to make contact with his jaw when someone grabs you back.

They are holding you with your back to them as you're trying to get out of their grip to get at Draco but they're too strong.

"Calm down y/n" the voice replies and you recognize it's Harry's. You were about to calm down when Malfoy starts laughing.

"Have to have your boyfriend to keep you calm?" He laughs and so do his goons. You start to fight Harry even harder to get to Draco but he's just laughing. Harry finally gives in and just throws you over his shoulder, walking away. You try to fight back but after a while you give in, letting him carry you to the common room. Once you get there he puts you down, and looks at you, you're frowning at him.

"I'm sorry y/n but I was not going to let you punch him no matter how badly I wanted to" he says calmly

"Why not?!" You reply mad

"Because then you would get in trouble over him and he's not worth getting in trouble over it" he replies and you know he's right so you calm down a little.

"Still would of felt nice to punch him though" he laughs and hugs you

"I know y/n I would of loved to watch it" you both laugh as you pull away. You go meet the others in the common room and stay there for the rest of the time.

You guys are all hanging out in the common room talking when 9:30pm rolls around. You tell your friends that you are going to bed early, they all say good night and Harry walks you to your room. Once you get to the door he says,

"So we good?" He looks at you, trying to read your expression. You smile back at him and reply,

"We're good" he sighs, obviously relieved and looks like he wanted to say someone else but he doesn't.

"Okay well goodnight" he says smiling.

"Goodnight!" You say as he walks down the hallway.
