Chapter 11: need help?

You walk into the classroom and see Draco already there. You walk to your seat beside Hermione and sit down, not saying a word. The class was pretty boring because Hermione was doing her work. Malfoy only talked to you once and it was just him making fun of you, which you excepted nothing less.

Your professor asked you all to grab a book off the shelf, you waiting for everyone else to grab theirs before grabbing yours. Just the Hufflepuff in you I guess. Once you got there you realized that all the books were gone on the bottom shelf. You look up and see 2 books at the very top shelf. You frown at yourself and try to reach them. You are jumping and trying your hardest to grab it when someone behind you laughs. You look at them and it's Malfoy, you mentally roll your eyes and stand in front of the book shelf, crossing your arms.

"What?" You say but this only makes him laugh more

"Oh nothing" you turn back around trying to grab it when he says

"Do you need some help?" You turn and look at him and say

"Not from you" he laughs quietly and sighs, leaning against the table just watching you struggle. You knew that he thought you were going to ask him. You turn around, open your mouth and he pushes himself off the table ready for you to ask him to grab it but what you say is,

"Hey Blaise, can you grab this for me?" Draco looks behind him and sees Blaise looking at you, his eyes looking you up and down before smiling and heading towards you. Draco gives Blaise the death glare and looks jealous. Blaise ignored him and says

"Sure," walking towards you, reaching up and grabbing the book. You smile innocently and say,

"Thank you!" He smiles back but his was definitely not innocent before saying

"Sure thing" he walks back to his seat and you walk back to yours, smirking at Draco on the way back

"Whatever." Draco mumbles under his breath as you walk by. He goes to grab his book and heads back to your table, you two still not talking. After third period you quickly put the book on the bottom shelf this time and walk out before Draco can say anything. You walk out of the classroom but don't get far as you're called back by a familiar voice.

"Hey y/n wait up!" Blaise says jogging to catch up to you. You wait for him to catch up to you, as he does Draco walks out of the room. He sees you with Blaise and instantly get mad, watching in the background. You don't realize he's there so you just walk to Blaise.

"What's up?" You say sweetly as he catches up to you. He smiles and says,

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later today?" Draco looks mad and looks at you waiting for your response. You groan

"I can't today because I have to study for a test" Draco lightly laughs but you don't hear it

'She doesn't want you pretty boy' Draco thinks to himself. Blaise looks upset so you quickly say,

"But I can tomorrow" you don't like making guys mad because you don't know what they'll do, you learned that the hard way. Draco snaps his head up to yours and looks at you in disbelief

'Did she really just agree to hang out with this prick?'  Draco thinks, annoyed. Blaise looks up at you again and says

"That sounds great!" He smiles and says, "okay I'll see you then" before walking away. You nod and smile as he walks away.

'He was nice' you think to yourself.  You're about to walk away when you hear something. You look back and see Draco leaning against the wall looking mad, but then again when doesn't he look mad. You roll your eyes and start walking to the library. Once you get there you see Ron so you go up to sit with him. Before you do you put your hands around his eyes and say

"Guess who" in a deep voice. He laughs and takes your hands from his eyes

"Hey y/n" he says before he sees you which makes you smile. You go to sit down across from him pulling you studies out of your bag.

"You came to the library alone?" He nods and you say

"You could have asked me or Hermione you know we'd both go with you!"  He laughs and says

"Well if I wasn't here you'd be by yourself" you laugh as you say

"Very true" and you begin to study on separate classes. You help Ron with some stuff and he helps you with some stuff.
