Chapter 13: crazy

You climb into the bed he was already in and you curl up on his bare chest. He puts his arms around your waist pulling you closer. You smile and you both soon drift off to sleep.

You walked down the stairs to see your dad sitting on the couch, beer bottles all around the floor and in his hand. You swallow nervously and try to go back upstairs before he could see you but it was too late.

"Y/n" he said, his voice so faint it was basically a whisper. You look at him again and quietly say,

"Yes sir?" Holding in a breath knowing what was going to happen. When he doesn't say anything you walk to him, his eyes grow in anger as he looks at your neck and growls.

"What is that?!" You feel you neck and feel the tender love bite on your neck, you forgot to cover up. You open your mouth to try and explain but he didn't let you, he stood up from his chair slapping you.

"I won't have a whore of a daughter in my house" you cry at his words. You wanted to scream at him that the only reason you had this was because he left you alone at a bar and some drunk forced themselves on you. Luckily they didn't get very far before the bartender threw them out. Your dad hit you a couple more times until you were sobbing on the floor.

You wake up to someone shaking you awake. You immediately jolt up scooting towards the corner away from them.

"Y/n?" He says quietly. You open your eyes to see Harry, forgetting he slept over.

'Great now he thinks I'm crazy'. You thought, you open your mouth but nothing comes out.

"Are you okay?" He asked, examining you, you had sweat on your forehead and were pinching at your neck aggressively and biting your bottom lip hard. Both were bad habits you took on when you got overly anxious. You took a breath and calm down, putting your hands in your face, tears streaming down your cheek.

"I'm so sorry Harry" you say softly. He doesn't say anything but scoots closer to you, grabbing your hands that were holding your face.

"Hey," you bring your eyes to his and he says,
"You have nothing to apologize for" he looks at your neck which was red from you punching it. He slowly put his hand over to your neck, softly stroking it. You sigh and say,

"Harry I know you probably think I'm crazy at this point so you can go if you want" you look at the bed and Harry brings your eye contact to his and he says

"I don't think your crazy and I'm not going to leave unless you want me to" you smile softly and you say

"I don't want you to to" he smiles and says

"Good then we agree" he smirks cheekily and you return it. You look at the clock and see it says 3 am. You had to get up in 3 hours, Harry looks at the clock and groans,

"Ugh I think we should stay in bed all day" he jokes, you laugh and say

"No way! I've already been late to all my classes so far" you both laugh softly as you lay back down. You curl into a ball and he lays behind you. Bringing your back to his chest and your hips to his. You feel so safe with Harry it's weird. He kisses your head and holds you tighter as you both drift off to sleep.

The next morning you wake up to Harry giving you kisses all around your face. You wake up slowly and smile at him as he kisses your check.

"Good morning" you say softly, stretching. He smiles and you look at him, "what?" You say giving him a confused look and laugh lightly.

"Nothing you're just too cute" he answers. You playfully shove him and say

"Come on let's get ready for school" he playfully groans and you laugh helping him up. He walks out of your dorm to go to his, getting ready for the day. As soon as you shut the door you jump around your room all giddy and happy.

You change into a black skirt that comes to the middle of your thigh. You put on your button up and your tie, pulling your grey sweatshirt over it. You go to the bathroom, put some light makeup on and do your hair. You head out to your room and look at the full body mirror hanging on the door. You smile at yourself as you take in your appearance and with that you grab your back heading to the common room smiling, happy as can be.

When you get there you see Hermione, Ron and Harry. Your eyes immediately meet Harry's first and you both flash a smile, looking back at your other two friends. Hermione smiles her gorgeous smile at you as she takes in your appearance.

"Merlin, you look beautiful y/n!" She exclaims, you smile thanking her as you flip your hair, causing your group to laugh. Ron looks at you and his look gets more serious as he stares at you but doesn't say anything. You're about to ask about it but decide to drop it and ask him later. You all walk to the door.

"You guys ready for breakfast?" You ask your friends.

Ron laughs, holding the door open for all of you,

"Yes please! I'm starving waiting for y/n" you all laugh and you playfully smack his arm as you guys walk out of the common room.
