Chapter 28: shower

"Sure, only if you sleep as well" ahhh you sneaky bastard, I nod and lay down on his chest again. Hearing his heartbeat comforted me so much. It made me feel safe and he felt like my person. Everybody needs a reason and he was my person.

I wake up with Draco behind me, his chest is pushed up against mine. His hips against mine and his head in the crook of my neck. I smile at his hands that are wrapped around my waist until they flinch slightly. I grab them softly making sure not to wake him up. He flinched again so I intertwine my fingers and gentle caress the back of his hand and they stop flinching. You smile, luckily it's Sunday do you don't have to get up or be anywhere. And to be honest you don't really want to do anything, you're exhausted.

You snake your waist out of his grip and head to the bathroom. You look back at him, he looks so peaceful. You smile and walk in the first thing you see is a huge bruise on your face and hand prints on your throat. You take a quick shower and get dressed into some sweats and a hoodie. When you're back at the mirror you just stand there, looking at yourself. You gentle trace your fingers over the bruise and flinch in pain. There's no way you can cover this up, at least not today. You trace the hand prints on your neck when you hear,

"Y/n?" In a sleepy, groggy voice. You smile and make your way to the door when he repeats himself,
"Y/n?!" He says a little more panicked. You open the door and he immediately looks at you and runs to you, engulfing you in a hug. You're confused but you hug him back.
"Don't leave me again, okay?" He says softly. You pull away and wipe a quick tear that feel from his eyes.

"Okay, I'm not going anywhere" he smiles and hugs you again, you doing the same until he picks you up.
"Draco, what are you doing??" You ask as he's carrying you.

"Bringing you back to the bed" he smirks and you playfully smack him. Oneee You guys get closer he throws you on the bed you both laughing like crazy. He climbs in after you and you laugh at his childness. He puts his head on you chest and he wraps his hands around you. You sigh, giving in and put one hand in his hair, playing with it causing him to smile. And the other playing with his rings on his fingers. After a while he says,

"You smell good," you laugh and say

"I took a shower" he looks up at you, upset

"Without me?" You laugh and playfully smack his arm

"Yes without you, you goofball" he laughs and put his head back down.
"I don't want to go out there" you say finally, looking at the door.

"So we won't" he says calmly

"Draco, people will know somethings up if they don't see both of us all day" he sighs,

"We'll let them know, I'm not leaving you today" You sigh as well knowing you're not gonna win this. You pick up a book and start reading while he lays on your chest, relaxed. You hold the book at an angle to where he can see as well and he reads with you. After a couple chapters you close the book and he gets up and hold his hand out,
"Here come with me"

You take his hand but question, "where are we going?"

"We're gonna go down to my dorm to get some clothes and then shower because I need one"

"Okay hang on" you put a spell on your bruises, covering them up.

"Come onnnn" he whines after you done causing you laugh as he drags you to his dorm. Once you guys get to his dorm you immediately run to his closet, he raises an eyebrow in question of what you're doing. You grab a hoodie and smile at him, waiting for him to say you can wear it. He smiles cheesily and nods

"Yay! Okay now go take a shower" he laughs and nods, obeying and going to take a shower. You hear the water running and he pokes his head out,

"You sureee you don't want to join?" He says winking, you blush a little and say,

"Go!" He laughs, shaking his head going to take his shower. You sit on his bed, in his hoodie, reading a book from his bookshelf. You smell so much like him right now it's crazy. You continue to read, not even noticing when Draco comes out until he makes a sound of opening his trunk. You look up and see him in his towel, his hair dripping, down his torso. Your face turns red as you see him with nothing but a towel on, hanging low. You bring your eyes back to his and he's looking at you, smirking.

"Like what you see y/l/n?"

"Oh shut up and get changed" you say throwing a pillow at him. He laughs but goes inside the bathroom to change. 'Damn that man is hot and also damn am I hungry' he finishes changing and you give him the puppy eyes when he comes out. He sits on the bed and says,

"What do you want?" You smile

"You wanna go get breakfast with me?"

"More like lunch now but sure" you close the book, marking your page and head out with him.
"You know you look really good in my hoodie" you blush and smile. He sees you blushing and smiles as well, laughing quietly to himself. You guys get to the great hall and luckily nobody's really in there because of awkward timing. It was about 1:30ish. You walk in about to go to your table when Draco grabs your hand brining you to the Slytherin table.

"Draco!" You say but can't get out of his grip

"What? It's Sunday you can sit wherever"

"Exactly so let's sit at the Gryffindor table" he laughs

"Yeah okay" he says sarcastically

"Fine but your sitting over there one day"

"Mmhmm sure" you playfully smack his arm but sit down with him. You guys are eating and talking you made him laugh so hard he almost shot water out of his nose. You didn't even realize that your legs were touching and his hand was on your thigh. You look at the doors and see someone walking in...
