Chapter 38: 'oh?'

"It's a surprise" he smiles down at you as you rest your head on his chest

You both continue walking down the halls until you get bored.

"Dracooo" you complain, he laughs at you and says

"Calm down, we're almost there darling" you smile and say

"Hey will you put me down?" He looks at you more serious and states

"No" you frown

"What why?" You question

"Because your leg is hurt" he states

"Yeah but you've been carrying me for a while-"

"Yeah and you're light" he interrupts you.

"Yeah yeah" you joke with him and continue going back and forth until you give up, letting him carry you until you get there.
"The quidditch field?" You question, you look up at him and he's smiling.

"Yup" he pauses "hey remember when you crashed into me" he jokes

"Haha very funny" you joke back as he sets you down, keeping his hand on your waist to steady you.
"So what are we going here?" It was still dark and he walks until you guys get to the broom closet.

"Will it hurt to fly?" He ask and you smile at him. You loved this side of him

"No, I should be fine" you grab a broom and he says

"Okay, follow me" you both fly slowly but fast enough to feel the wind through your hair. You finally get to the top part of the castle where it overlooks the sunrise. He sits on the edge and pats the seat next to him. You fly over to him and carefully take a seat next to him. He pulls you closer to him and wraps a hand around your waist, making sure you don't fall. You both look out over the opening as the sun is rising.

"It's beautiful draco" you smile at him, "how did you find this place?" You ask. He takes a deep breath and sighs

"I come up here when I need think" you nod. You both sit in silence, just watching the sun slowly rise. The only person you've talked to in 24 hours was Draco, and you didn't even want to talk to him in the beginning further. He's just so easy to talk to and he's helping you a lot. You sigh and rest your head on his shoulder. He leans into you more and you both enjoy each other's presents in silent. When the sun finally rises he squeezes your hand
"You ready to head back?" He questions

"Draco, what happened to Blaise?" He tenses at his name and takes a shaky breath.

"He um" he pauses "he's expelled, you don't have to worry about him" you can tell he doesn't really want to talk about him, so instead of asking him the million question you have you just take a breath and nod

"Then yeah, I'm ready" he stands up, pulling you up with him.

"Okay, it's Saturday so we don't have classes so what do you want to do?"

"You wanna fly around for a little?" You ask, he smiles and nods

"Sure princess" you smile at the nickname, you both fly around, admiring everything. You look over to Draco who's looking out past the trees, the sun on his face makes him have a morning glow and his eyes shining bright as they reflect the sunlight. You admire everything about him until Draco looks over at you,
"Why are you staring at me?" He questions

"You wanna race?" You ask ignoring his questions

"No way, not with your hurt leg" you frown, "don't give me that face, I don't want you to get more hurt than you are"

"Kinda sounds like you're just scared to lose" you say shrugging as you start to speed up

"Y/n" he says sternly as you continue to fly away

"What's wrong draciee poo" you say mocking pug face- I mean Pansy. His face gets cold

"Don't call me that" he growls

"What? Draciee poo" you ask innocently

"Oh you better get a head start because you won't like it when I catch you" you stick your tongue out at him and fly away. He gives you a 10 second head start and flies after you. You both chases each other around the castle, until he finally catches you. He grabs onto your waist and brings you onto his broom with him. He smirks at you as he takes in how you're straddling him.

"Does this seem familiar?" He questions. You roll your eyes playfully and he leans in. He connects his lips to yours and you both melt together. Your hands move to his neck, tugging on the ends of his hair as if it's instinct. His hands grip your hips and squeeze them, pulling you closer to him. A low moan escapes his lips as his tongue searches every inch of your mouth and yours does the same. You both pull away, out of breath. Your faces are both glowing red and he says,

"We should probably stop before this goes to far" your foreheads resting on one another, you nod slightly.
"Let's go get someone to eat" he suggest. You groans but agree

"Okay" you both fly down to the ground, landing softly.

"How's the leg?" He ask

"Oh don't go all soft on me now ferret boy" his eyebrows raise at this

"Ferret boy?" He questions

"Oh yeah, Hermione told me all about it" you laugh. He takes a step closer to you and puts his hands on your hips and closes the gap between you two.

"Oh?" He leans in and almost touches his lips on yours when you hear a cough from behind you. You both freeze and you close your eyes. You look up at Draco and he's trying hard not to laugh, earning a glare from him. You take a breath and turn around and see...
