"What do you want to do at the hotel?" George asks.
The team has been on the bus for about an hour and a half by now. Clay and George woke up on time, although they didn't want to leave each other's arms.
"We should probably do the school work for our classes and then I'll help you with your History work."
"But that's so boring." George whines.
"Well," Clay leans down to George's ear and whispers. "Maybe we can do something else once we finish. Only if you don't complain, though."
George blushes. They were sitting all the way in the back of the bus, and nobody really bothered them. Most of their teammates were taking up a whole seat to sleep.
George took that as an excuse to lay his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. He wasn't very sleepy, but he wanted to feel the touch of Clay.
Soon enough, George did end up falling asleep. Clay didn't get any sleep on the bus ride, but he was ok with that. With about 5 minutes until they got to the hotel, the coach woke up the sleeping players.
Once the bus pulled up, the coach started talking.
"Alright, everyone. So there isn't a specific plan, but here's the deal. It is currently 11. Meet in the hotel lobby at 4:00, then we will take the bus to the baseball field. From now until then, go do what you want. Stay in the hotel, please."
With that, Coach got off of the bus, the players following. The boys got into their groups. There were five groups of two and one group of three. They went up to the desk and got their hotel keys, then went up to do whatever.
When Clay and George got to their room, they quickly settled in.
"Alright, let's get this work done and over with." George says.
They grab out their computers and worksheets, George starting with Math and Clay with English. George was ahead in Math, so instead of doing more work, he would just fill out the worksheet that took him roughly five minutes.
While Clay was still writing for English, George moved on to PE. Of course the PE teacher didn't assign any physical activity as they knew George needed the energy for his game. Instead, he gave George a worksheet that would take him less than five minutes.
George was feeling pretty lucky as he didn't have much school work to do. His next class was History. Since the only thing he was assigned was to write down notes, he didn't bother waiting until Clay was ready to do that class work. He would wait until Clay was done with his other class work until he would have Clay help him study.
Once Clay finalized his worksheet for English, George had just finished his History notes. Clay had purposely gotten ahead in Math so he didn't have to do a lot of work at the hotel. He did the worksheet fairly quickly.
Clay also did his History notes. For his last class, Pottery, he didn't have any new work assignments.
"Time for you to help me study for History." George smiles.
"Ok. The test is coming up soon so there's kind of a lot to go over. But we can do some tomorrow, too."
Both of them get out their notebooks. They situate themselves so Clay is sitting on the bed in front of George. He opens his notebook and starts going over the important things he put stars by.
George really wants to complain about how boring this is, but he's afraid Clay will ignore him from what he said on the bus. The thought of that made him flustered. He knew that they weren't going to do anything sexual, but being able to kiss Clay made him happy.
