Another day meant another X on Clay's imaginary calendar. According to his very accurate calculations, he only had 5 days left, including today. After the intimate events last night, Clay hung out with George for a few more hours before going home.

He was feeling much better today and actually woke up fairly early. After his shower and his regular no-school morning routine, Clay went downstairs. He was shocked to see that his parents weren't awake yet.

An idea popped into his head. He quickly ran upstairs and slipped his shoes on, then made sure he grabbed his keys and wallet. He ran to his truck and drove to McDonald's. He picked up breakfast for three, then drove to George's house.

"Hey, Clay! What beings you here so early?" George's mom asked.

"Just dropping off some breakfast. I can't stay long, so I'm gonna run upstairs and leave George a note."

"Ok, thank you."

Clay quickly went over to their office and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, writing a quick note for George.

Hi, Baby. I brought you some breakfast, it's downstairs. I wasn't able to stay, so I hope you enjoy. I love you and I'll call you later.

He put the pen back and then quietly went upstairs. He slipped into George's room, careful not to wake him. He left the note on his nightstand, then leaned over and gave George a kiss on the forehead. The blond then left, going back home.

As he hoped, his family was still asleep by the time he got back. Clay quickly washed his hands and started making breakfast. About 15 minutes into making it, his mom came downstairs.

"Aw, Clay. You didn't have to."

"It's the least I can do. It'll be done in about 10 minutes."

She walked away and Clay started the pot of coffee. As soon as he cracked some eggs into the pan, he got a text from George.

Baby
Thank you
Can I call you?

Clay
Not right now
I'll call you in like 20

Baby
Ok

Clay went back to the eggs, making sure everything was cooked. He threw some bread into the toaster. While he was waiting, he set the table and then set the already made food out. He then ran upstairs and woke his siblings, as he met his dad in the hallway.

Soon enough, everyone was downstairs eating the breakfast Clay made. Although Clay made everything, he insisted he would clean up.

"Wow, you've been very productive today."

Clay had just got done telling George about his morning events. They were on FaceTime, and it looks as if George just got out of the shower.

"Yeah, I'm feeling good. Not many places that are close were open earlier so that's why I chose McDonald's. I know it's not the best breakfast, but you and your family deserve it for all you've done for me."

"Well, my parents love you very much and I know they appreciated it, even if it was just McDonald's."

"Hey, George?"

"What?"

"Has anyone told you that you're cute yet today?"
