Clay and Lola had made plans to hangout today. So when Clay woke up, he was more than excited to get out of bed and get ready for the day. He started off by taking a shower. He then got dressed, slipped on his shoes, and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Good morning, Sweetie."
"Morning. I hope you and Dad don't have work today. I have plans to hangout with a new friend in about an hour."
"That's wonderful, Clay. We do have work, though. Maybe you'll be back before we leave?"
"Probably not. That would mean we only have like an hour and a half to hangout."
"Well if you're home before dinner, I'm sure your siblings should be fine home alone."
"Ok."
Clay got out some eggs and began making himself breakfast. He decided that scrambled eggs sounded good, so that's how he made them. While they were cooking, he pulled some apple juice out of the fridge and poured himself a glass.
Once his eggs were done, he transferred them to a plate. He grabbed his apple juice and sat down at the table. He began eating, finishing everything not long after. He was texting George, but George stopped answering since he had to do something.

It was finally time for Clay to go to Lola's house. He told his parents he was leaving, then started walking. He got there very quickly. Clay had walked up to the door, but before he could knock, the door swung open. Lola was on the other side.
"Hi!" She greets.
"Hello!" Clay smiles.
"Come in!" The raven haired girl steps to the side.
Clay walks through the door. Once inside, he turns to look at Lola. She had shut the door and turned around, too.
"We can go up to my room and hangout if you want."
"Sure."
Lola turns and heads up the staircase. Clay follows. Once at the top, the blond follows Lola down a long hallway. When they reach the end, Lola opens a door on the right, revealing her simplistic bedroom.
"Damn. And I thought my room was big."
"My parents gave me the master bedroom since they aren't home much. I'm very thankful for that."
"I bet. What should we do?"
"I honestly don't know. We should've planned this better."
"I agree. Maybe we can just chill on our phones. I know that sounds boring, but it's a good way to just hangout."
"Sure."
Lola went and sat on her bed. Clay didn't want to be awkward, so he just went and sat on a bean bag that was in the corner of the room. They both opened TikTok. When they heard videos play at the same time, they looked at each other, made eye contact, then began laughing.
They quickly went back to watching TikToks. They ended up following each other so when they found a video they thought was funny, they could send it to the other.
George had been trying to text Clay, but Clay was ignoring him. George just thought that maybe Clay was busy, but usually Clay told George when he had things going on. About ten minutes of Clay not answering, George called Clay. The blond declined the call as soon as it appeared on his screen. This made George upset.
"Who was that?" Lola asks.
"Just a friend. Probably just asking to play Minecraft or something."
