"Who keeps texting you?" George asks Clay.

"One of my neighbors I met a while ago."

"Shouldn't you answer them?

"I mean probably. I'm not gonna, though."

"Why?"

"I told her before you came that I probably won't talk to her as much because I'm with you."

"Her? What's her name?"

Clay really didn't want George knowing about Lola. Yes, he trusts George, but he didn't trust Lola enough. Clay didn't want Lola to flirt with George or anything.

"Don't worry about it."

"Why? I just wanna know the name of your new friend that you never told me about." Way to be passive-aggressive, George.

"I-" Clay pauses.

"Why didn't you tell me about her?" George sounds hurt.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. Her name is Lola."

"Ah." George nodded his head.

The brunet went onto his phone and opened Instagram. He went to the search bar and typed in "Lola". The first name that came up had 'Followed by Dreamwastaken' under it. Found her. George tapped on her account and went through some of her pictures. She was very pretty. What if Clay didn't tell George about her because there was something going on between them?Clay could tell George was upset because of his facial expression.

"Let me see." George shook his head.

Clay got up and looked at George's phone. His heart sank immediately. Why was George upset about Lola?

"Yeah, that's her."

"She's very pretty."

"I know." Great, and George finds her pretty.

"I would understand if you wanted to be with her instead of me." George looks down.

"Georgie," Clay chuckles. "Yes, she's pretty, but I don't want to be with her. I want to be with you. I love you."

George smiles, shuts his phone off, and climbs into Clay's arm. He nuzzles his brunet hair into Clay's chest while Clay wraps his arms around George's waist.

"I love you." George mumbles.

Ring, Ring, Ring.

"Oh my God." Clay drags out.

"Who is it?"

"Lola."

"Hello?" Clay answers and puts the phone on speaker.

"Hi! Do you wanna hangout today?"

"I told you that I can't."

"Your friend could come with us, too."

"This is the only time I get to see him. He lives in Florida."

"I understand that, but I miss you."

"Uh, um... I got to go. George and I are hungry." He hangs up.

"Does she like you?" George asks.

"Probably not."

"I'm not hungry."

"I know, we just ate. Just needed an excuse to hang up."

George chuckles and sinks back into Clay's chest. How did George go from crushing on his best friend to dating him in less than a year? All George knew is that he was more than happy. He was so grateful to be here with Clay.
