It all flew by, quite literally, too. George was now living in Nevada and school was starting soon. To say that both of the teenagers weren't nervous was an understatement.
Of course Lola found out about George moving in, she was all up in Clay's business. She tried intervening into his life as much as she could. George was annoyed. He figured that they just out themselves to her, but Clay wasn't ready for that.
The day they got back from Florida up until today, Lola seemed so attached to Clay. She was set and determined on being the one to show them around their new school, Clay more so than George. And to put it simply, George was getting sick of her.
They were currently all sat in Clay's basement. It got properly furnished and decorated to Clay's likings. George so desperately wanted to cling onto Clay, but he couldn't. They were sitting on the couch talking, Clay in between George and Lola. George wanted to bitch slap her so hard when she kept getting closer to Clay. Clay noticed her moving and kept moving away from her, getting closer to George.
"Ou, we should watch a scary movie!" Lola shouts. That came out of no where.
"You said you don't like scary movies?" Clay questioned.
"I don't. But I'll have you to protect me." She looks up at Clay.
"I don't think that's such a good idea." Clay tells her when he sees George's red, furious face.
"Aw, c'mon. You can cuddle me and I can hide my face in your chest when I get scared." She pleas.
"Look, he's not interested. He doesn't like you. He's been scooting away from you all damn day to get away from you. Take a fucking hint!" George snaps before storming off to his shared bedroom.
"What the fuck is his problem?" You can tell she's offended.
"He's just annoyed." Clay stands up for his boyfriend.
"What, does he like you or something?" Lola rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, he does, actually."
"Well, he needs to realize that just because he likes you, doesn't mean he needs to gatekeep you and act like you aren't allowed to like other people." She retorts.
"He's right." Clay says.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not interested in you. I don't like you like that."
"What? How? I thought you liked me?"
"No. I like George. Hell, I love him. He's my boyfriend. I'm dating him. Why do you think we share a room?"
"Wait, what?" She looks like she just saw a ghost.
"I think you should leave." Clay speaks up.
"I- I'm sorry. I didn't know." The raven haired girl gets up from the couch.
"That doesn't mean you have the right to be all touchy feely with someone, especially if they don't give you permission. Goodbye."
Clay watches to make sure Lola leaves before going into his bedroom. George is laying on his back on the bed, scrolling through his phone. Clay walked over and got next to George, laying his head on the brunet's chest.
"I told her."
"What?" George questions.
"I told Lola that we're dating. I also told her to leave."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap. I just couldn't stand her anymore. I know you didn't want to out yourself yet."
"It's ok, Baby. It's who I am. I'm not ashamed of it. I love you and people need to know that you're mine and I'm yours."
"I love you." George says as he sets his phone down and begins running his fingers through Clay's soft hair.
"I love you."
