"I won't be able to hang out at all during August."
"Aw, why?" Lola asks Clay.
"My friend is coming to hangout for the whole month."
"Oh. Well, ok, then."
"Yeah. I haven't seen him in over a month. I miss him a lot."
"I bet. I couldn't imagine moving away from my friends."
If you only you knew Clay thought.
"Yeah."
"Wait, that's literally next week. There's no way we've been hanging out for this long already."
"I know. I'm so excited for him to come." More ways than just one.
"You're really not gonna hang out with me for a whole month because your friend is coming over?"
"I mean, yeah. I've been hanging out with you for over a month straight. Then when school starts, I'll be hanging out with you every day again. I'll only be able to see him for that amount of time until Christmas probably."
"What if we all hung out together?"
"I don't think so. I got to get going."
Clay didn't have to get going. He was actually planning on hanging out all night. But Lola couldn't take the hint and Clay was getting annoyed. He really liked to hang out with the raven haired girl, but he got sick of her sometimes. He couldn't wait until George was there.
Speaking of George, he would be arriving in Nevada in exactly a week. He would be getting there pretty late on July 31st, so the boys would be going straight to bed when they got back to Clay's house. Then, the brunet would take a flight out on September 1st. He would get back home and used to the time zone before school starts a few days later.
--
It's been a whole week. George's flight would be getting there around 11 pm. That meant he wouldn't be there for a whole eight hours. Clay was growing impatient. He would be driving to the airport and picking up his lover.
Clay was feeling jittery. He just wanted to see George. He wanted to be able to hug him, kiss him, hold him. Of course other things, too, but that wasn't on his mind right now. Well, maybe a little. It had been too long since they've been able to relieve each other. They went from having sex about once a week to not at all. Yeah, they're horny motherfuckers.
Since it was only 3 pm, Clay had no clue what to do. He didn't want to hang out with Lola because she was getting more annoying about not being able to hang out with Clay for a month. Didn't she have other friends?
Sapnap had just texted Clay to ask if he wanted to be on his stream. Perfect distraction. Clay accepted the invite and hopped on his PC. The blond joined the VC that Sapnap was in and greeted the other and the chat.
Clay had texted Sapnap and asked how long he planned on streaming. To his luck, Sapnap planned on streaming for around three hours, but he didn't know if that's how long he was actually gonna go for.
--
"Ok. Bye, Dream!"
"Bye, Sapnap. Bye, chat."
With that, Clay left the VC. He turned off his PC then got up. Sapnap's stream went a little longer than three hours, meaning Clay still had about three and a half hours until he had to leave. The drive to the airport would take about an hour, so Clay wanted to leave early.
Clay went upstairs, outside, then in his truck. He stared it then pulled out of his driveway. In about ten minutes, Clay makes it to Wendy's. He ordered himself a burger and fries, nothing too much.
He wanted to do as much as possible to pass time. When the blond got home, he scrolled through TikTok until his alarm notifying him that he had to leave went off. Clay shot up and ran to his truck. He didn't care how loud he was being. He wanted to see George.
The blond typed the airport into his GPS then took off. George had already texted Clay the information he needed, so Clay was focused on getting to his boyfriend.
--
Five minutes. Clay was five minutes away from the airport. His heart was pumping faster than ever. He was so excited. Clay usually didn't go to bed until really late, but the drive was making him tired. But now that he was so close to seeing George, he felt so awake.
Clay finally pulled into the pickup spot. He pulled up right where George told him to. He turned his truck off and unbuckled his seat belt. He kept looking out the passenger window to the doors. His heart would skip a beat every time a stranger walked out.
But the next time his heart skipped a beat, it wasn't because of a stranger. Out walked a familiar brunet, instantly smiling when he saw Clay's truck. He started walking up to it, but before he could make it so far, Clay sprinted up to him and wrapped him in a tight hug.
"Oh my God. I've missed you so much." Clay picked George off of the ground.
"I've missed you, too. Now but me down." He giggled.
The blond set George down but immediately pulled him in for a kiss. George kissed back. There were many eyes on the boys, but they didn't care at all. The only thing they cared about in the moment was each other.
"I've been wanting to do that for so long." George blushes.
"I'm excited I'm here." George wraps his arms around Clay's torso once more.
"Me too. Are you hungry? We can stop somewhere and get food before we go home."
"Yeah. Anything sounds good."
They loaded George's luggage into Clay's truck, then got in themselves. Clay put In-N-Out in his GPS and started driving.
"How long until we get to your house?" George asks sluggishly.
"It's an hour drive from the airport, but since we're stopping to get food, it'll be roughly an hour and 15 minutes."
"Jeez, ok. I think I'm gonna sleep."
"That's fine. We'll go to sleep when we get back to my place, too."
George just nodded and leaned his head against the headrest. Clay reached over and rested his hand on George's thigh. This action caused George to blush, not that Clay could tell. Although George was extremely tired, he couldn't seem to fall asleep.
--
"Let's go to sleep, ok?"
They had finally gotten home. They stopped to get food and ate it, then made it back to Clay's house. George didn't sleep at all on the drive back. Clay helped George bring his bags in, then showed him to his room.
"Do you wanna stay in the guest room instead?"
"Why would I wanna say in the guest room?"
"I don't know. I'm just being polite."
"No. I want to sleep in here with you."
"Ok. I'm sure you're tired. We can take care of your luggage in the morning. Let's go to bed."
Clay got on his bed and George crawled in right after him. Clay pulled George close. George wrapped his arms around Clay, nuzzling his head on the blond's chest. They were both extremely happy. George fell asleep almost instantly. George was already tired from his flight, but when Clay began to run his fingers through the soft brunet hair, George was out. Clay followed not long after.
a/n~ i feel like everyone says this, but i apologize for not uploading. im failing all of my classes and school ends in less than two weeks. its been stressful. secondly, ive been having a hard time coming up with things to write until george comes to see clay, so thats why theres such a huge time skip from last chapter to this one. anyway, with school ending, due dates, and late work coming up, uploads arent gonna be as frequent anymore as you can see already. probably gonna shoot for twice a week. thank you :)
