"Thanks for the food" i say as energetically as possible.

I went to the hospital today to visit my mum and my brother. Mums doing good, she got bandaged up. My brother, however, still has to have a breathing mask on so i'm feeling a bit down.

"That's okay, love, how about you hang out with Bakugo to take your mind off of things?" she suggests and i cringe internally. I don't know whether that would make it better or worse.
"Yeah i will, thank you again" I stand up from the dining table and leave the room, trudging up the stairs in nervousness.

I knock quietly on the door.
He grunts a "come in" so i open the door slowly. His presence softens when he sees me. I hadn't talked to him since yesterday when i told him about myself.
"Your mum told me to hang out with you" I mumble and stand awkwardly in the doorway.
"Then come in, will you?" he smiles slightly but i can't return it. I shut the door behind me and he sinks even further into his green beanbag.

"So" i clear my throat as i take a seat on the edge of his bed "You just like looking out the window or something?"
My awful attempt at making conversation was almost funny.
A small chuckle leaves the back of his throat "yeah, sometimes... other time i read"
My eyes widen and i lean forwards "you READ?! what do you read?"
Pink flows across his cheeks as his eyes widen "I don't read anything"
"LIAR" i grin and stand up to begin searching around his room. I look in between his furniture, in his draws but can't find any books of any sort.

"What are you doing?"
"Looking for your nerd stash" I roll my eyes playfully as i keep inspecting his room. I gasp and spin around, eyeing his bed. His duvet was so long it often covered the sides of the bed, almost touching the floor.

"No- not there" he stammers.
I march over but he runs in front of me, holding me back, he's sweating nervously.
I smirk "what do you have to hide, Katsuki?". Then teleporting away from him so i was directly in front of his bed, i lifted up the orange covers to reveal a draw.
"AHA! KNEW IT!" I tuck my fingers underneath it and pull it out.
"Stop- please-" he stands behind me, shifting his weight in a shy manner.

I'm instantly met with stacks upon stacks of romance manga. I raise my eyebrows in surprise. To be honest, i thought it was going to be porn or some shit.

"A silent voice, Lovely Complex, Wolf girl & Black Prince..." I name a few as i look at them, my heart throbbing.

"aha, how did those get there" his voice cracks.

*Heart squeeze*

I turn to face him "I didn't know you were such a hopeless romantic, Bakugo Katsuki"
He blushes heavily and scratches the back of his neck "i'm not... they just have good plots"
I smirk at his nervousness "okayy"
When the opportunity comes up, he pushes the draw closed with his foot and edges away from me.

"Aww are you shy?" i pout and walk over to him.
"Tch, no?" He leans away, his ears glowing a bright red.
"Your cheeks match your eyes" i tease.
"Whatever." he grumbles and sits back down on his beanbag, avoiding my line of focus as he stares out the window.

"What else do i not know about you?" I ask inquisitively as i sit down on the floor beside him.
"You know the rest already since i actually let you in" he mumbles, turning to glare down at me "unlike someone"
"...sorry" I let my eyes trail to the carpet.
"Don't apologise. I just wish i knew more about you... you know, considering"
"Right" I nod and chew on my nail "I'm glad i told you about it now"
"Me too"

I look up at him, his glare that was there only a minute ago now gone completely.
"You know, i'm mad at you"
"Well, you should be" I snort and lean back on my hands.
"Mhm"

He pushes himself off of the beanbag and takes my hand, leading me to his bed as he grabs his Nintendo Switch from his table.
"I'm bored, let's play All Might Smash"
"Sure? I don't know how to play though" I shrug and he's surprised momentarily but then shakes his head as if he's telling himself he's stupid.

"I'll show you" He smiles slightly.
"Thanks"
