"Are you sure your alright?" Ethan asks looking slightly concerned as we got up, I nod even though I wasn't
"It was just a weird dream, it won't happen" I say quietly
"What happened?" He asked rubbing my back comfortingly
"I just-just, you where being dragged away by this guy and I couldn't-couldn't get to you" I know it sounds silly but I started to tear up.
"Hey it's alright, it didn't happen, calm down" Ethan hugged me close and kissed me on the head
"Why don't we go to the bakery and grab something nice?" He asks
"Ye... yes that sounds good" I get up and smile weakly.
"What are you thinking about getting" Ethan asks as he skips ahead slightly and starts walking backwards
"Maybe a cupcake, they sell these really nice red velvet ones, how about you?" I say
"Well what do they have?" He ask tilting his head to the side
"You will see now" I say pointing forward at the bakery in front of us, he turned around and saw the baby blue and pink shop covered in starts and icing, the door was open and out flooded the sweet smell of freshly baked...everything: cakes, bread, meringue, rolls, etc etc.
"Come on" I grab Ethans hand and lead him in with me, he looks around, embracing the environment, he was loving it
"Look at all the choices, how do people choose?!" he says looking into the cases were they kept the food
"Well I used to come all the time, I've tried most things"
"What has nuts in it?" He ask looking at me
"They keep that sort of stuff separated so no one gets a allergic reaction, all the nutty stuff is over there" I point towards the other side of the shop were all the nut stuff was put,
"Right" he says turning back to the nut free food.
"Well I like the look of that, what is it?" He points at a blue cupcake that had green whipped cream on top
"That is lava cake, it has a gooey, hot centre that can have any flavour you choose" I say hugging him from behind
"What flavours can I get?" He says, i point at a board that has all the different things on it: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, white chocolate, orange and a few others. As he decided I looked around the shop again, I heard the bell jingle as someone left... someone was in here? My eyes dart towards the window but all I could catch was a wisp of brown hair going around the corner... whatever.
"Can I get the lava cake with caramel filling please?" I hear behind me
"And I'll have the red velvet cupcake, please" I say going back to Ethans side
"Thanks, have a nice day!" Ethan says as we leave, he looks pleased with himself
"Ouchie! That's hot" he whispers to himself as he bites into it
"Blow on it" I laugh as I take a bite of my cake, it was warm because it was freshly baked
"Oh, okay" he says blowing on it and biting it again, this time with much more ease
"That makes a lot more sense" he says as we both laugh.
