Closing the door I feel a sudden cold rush through me, I shiver and then stop as it becomes warm again, I'm never cold? Whatever.
"We should go there more often" I say sitting down on the table
"I would love that!" Ethan says excitedly as he eats the last of his cake and sits beside me
"Your very cold babe?" He says wrapping his small arms around me in desperate attempt to keep more warm
"I'm fine" I kiss his forehead and ruffle his hair as I get up again,
"Where are you going?" He says tilting his head
"I'm just nipping out to grab something, don't worry I'll be back soon" I wink at him as I open the door but before I could leave I heard footsteps and felt Ethan hug me tightly, his head buried deep in my chest I heard a muffled
"I love you"
"I love you too eef" I say smiling.
Ethan backs off me and I close the door, he makes it so hard to leave him on his own! I start to walk around, I seem to have forgotten where the shop is, was it left, right, left? No it was right, right, left! Ye. I turn the corner and there it is, a small, delicate, blue shop full of glitter and shiny things, I walk in, it's surprising empty, only a few people, I glance into the glass boxes.
Rows and rows of expensive gems and crystals, what was his birthstone again? Opal! I glance at the opals, it wouldn't suit him. We also have birth flowers up here as well, I look at the chart on the wall that has all the flowers on it, Marigold! Perfect!
I look into the case that has marigolds in them, there is one with a crystal with a lovely small marigold in it. I call over one of the workers to the case,
"Could you get that one out for me"
"The ring with the crystal marigold?" She asks
"Yep" I nod enthusiastically
