I waited there awhile, I was finally seeing why Ethan got so worried about me, it had been so long since he had opened his eyes even though the memories seemed so short. Tears began to roll down his face again but he did not open them,
"Is it done?" I ask quietly
"Yes, just give him some time" I nod back at Tyler and watch as Ethan slowly starts to move again, he looked defeated, just like I would have done when I came back from the memories.

Suddenly Ethan opened his eyes and collapsed into my arms
"Why did we do that Mark?" He whispers, his words slightly muffled due to the fact he was hiding his face in my shirt, leaving a big wet patch, but I don't mind.
"I don't know..." I whisper as I pat his back gently
"You did it to show that nothing last forever" Tyler says looking sadly at the floor
"And then you both died shortly after, we all did, it was so weird, everyone just.... died" he looked up at us and then back at the floor, his eyes were full of tears.

"I need to go home, I'll meet you...?"
"Tomorrow, at the fountain" Ethan says picking his head up off my chest, he sighed and and nodded with a weak smile and left, we didn't even know if we would see him again, we just had to hope.

As we were getting into bed, Ethan turned to me and said softly
"Only one more day till that wedding" I smile at him, and rest my head on my pillow and fall into a sleep that can't be described as nice nor bad, just simply.... there.
