We were hyped up on questionable tex-mex fast food in the middle of the road. The traffic was non existent, so getting to our destination was simply easy.
Howlin For You by The Black Keys played loudly as Tori sat in the front seat with me, enjoying the autumn wind between her fingers. Cat was trying to stick her head out the window, but Sam was yelling out safety issues on sticking your head out the window while trying to pull the red head in.

"So far, I'm loving New York." I chuckled, keeping my eyes on the road.

"Really? More than L.A.?" Tori questioned, slightly facing towards me.

"No. California will always be home. New York is too busy.."

Tori was confused by statement, "So why..?"

"After everything I've been through, I think living the fast life would be a little good for me. Kind of like a distraction, you know?" I adjusted my rear view mirror, and caught a glimpse of a now calmer Cat that had Sam's arm wrapped around her gently. They were both pointing at things through the window and giggling to themselves. Their conversations were low as I had the volume to the music up high. My eyes quickly darted back to the road, and I noticed that we've arrived.

"Ladies, we're here." I sang, parking the car by the side of the road.

"Who. Are. These. People?" Tori gasped, taking in the sight of the building we were gonna go into. From where we were standing, the building seemed like it was infinitely tall, more than 100 floors.

"I feel like an ant." Cat giggled.

We walked in through the lobby and waited for the elevator after calling it down. Before the elevator reached us, we saw our L.A. Boys walk in.

"Hey ladies!" Beck greeted cooly.

"Hey." I nodded.

"Look who came." Andre chuckled.

We turned to see Robbie with Red once again. So much for an improved Robbie, I thought to myself.

"How's it goin, sweet cakes?" Rex greeted in his usual, slightly flirtatious way.

"Greaaat, you're back. Shall we go to the party now?" I asked, rolling my eyes as I grabbed the elevator door.

"Who peed in your Cheerios, Jade?" Rex laughed, but I ended his joy quickly by pulling up his mannequin shirt and leaving it midway up his arms, covering his face.

"Jade!" Robbie exclaimed.

"Oops." I sighed irritably.

The elevator opened at the very last floor, revealing a lot of well dressed people, an alcohol table, beer pong, a DJ and dancing bodies under neon and dim normal lights.

"This is definitely not Los Angeles anymore." Cat stated in a slightly confused manner.

We walked down the few steps and ended up at the dance floor. I shoved a few people out the way as we walked to the alcohol table. Looking at the variety of drinks and chasers and non-alcoholic drinks, you could tell this was a well-fed family, but you could just look from outside at the building and already know that.
