You know, when Tori mentioned that things were different here in New York than Cali, I didn't really think much of it. Yet, here I was, high on something new with a bunch of random people in what seemed like a very fancy bathroom.
My mind was in a haze, barely remembering the names of the people I was. Leaning back against the black marble wall, I closed my eyes and tried my very best to remember what happened 3 hours ago..

"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!" The crowd chanted as Tori, Sam and I freehanded 10 shots into the losers through the use of funnels.
Eventually, the girl Sam was pouring into tapped out, not able to drink another drop of alcohol.

"WOO, MAMA!" Sam riled up excitedly. She laughed, seeming more alive than ever.

"That was pretty good. You guys have some pretty dope vocals." Ben complimented, blessing us with the most adorable smile I've seen, almost puppy-like.

"Thanks." Tori responded warmly.

"So, how are things at your school?" Cat asked interestedly as she locked arms with Sam.

"Well, it's a bit more laid back than Juilliard, that's for sure." Chuckled Caleb, wiping his mouth off with a napkin.

"I bet. So, what are your plans after graduating?" Beck asked, unknowingly establishing his presence along with the other boys.

"Well, I want to produce plays. Mostly musicals, but also a little bit of everything." Macy revealed, pulling her phone out from her pocket.

"I already write some songs on the side, but singing and acting is the way to go for me." Ben spoke, resting his arms by putting his hands in his pockets.

"That's very cool, what about you, Caleb?" Andre inquired curiously.

"Me? I like singing and playing the guitar. Hopefully, with my studies I'll be able to be someone someday." Caleb answered truthfully.

Sam and I exchanged looks before bursting out laughing. Tori, Cat, Andre, Robbie and Beck looked at each other confused and slightly worried without saying anything.

"Can you believe this guy?" Sam chortled. I wheezed, unable to form a sentence in the middle of my laugh.

"W-What's so funny?" Macy asked defensively.

"N-Nothing, it's just.. This guy has like a bajillion dollars to be able to live in a place like this and he has like major talent. How is he not able to make it?" Sam explained between laughs.

"Oh, well this isn't my money exactly." Caleb explained with a shy smile. "My parents work in the oil industry and that's how we have all this, but they're also barely home."

"Lucky. Did you know that oil is often reffered to as"Texas Tea' or 'Black Gold'? ." Robbie questioned trying to spark up a conversation, only having Cat pat him on the back and shake her head at him.

"Who's this puppet fella?" Ben asked, coming closer to examine Rex.

"Who you callin' a puppet?!" Rex scolded, scaring Ben.

"Don't mind him, he's a sour muppet. The real question is, can I eat that frozen pizza you have in your freezer?" Sam asked smugly. Caleb nodded slowly before Sam made a quick run towards the kitchen. Tori, Cat, Beck and Robbie made their way towards the dance floor which left me with Andre, Ben, Macy and Caleb.

" I'm gonna head to the bodega down the street, do you guys want anything?" I asked awkwardly, knowing damn well I still had cigarettes and didn't have any good reason to go except take a breather.
