Alex rider - what happened?

Chapter 8

Yassen found Alex. But the sight was amusing. Alex is in the library, with a huge pile of books in hand and a pile balanced on his head. The librarian was ranting. On and on and on, Alex stood quietly to listen. "Do you get what I'm saying? He just doesn't reply to my message!"
"Cassandra." He said and she immediately shut up. "I am sure he has a reason. You just have to trust him. Once you let him know that you trust him and respect his needs for privacy now. He would respect you and stay loyal and then he wouldn't keep anything a secret anymore." Alex said. "Since when are you a love expert?" She teased. "Where's the fantasy books?"
"Head." Alex replied looking up at the pile on his head. She turned around. "Wow. Sorry! I didn't mean to throw those books!" She said as she helped take the books off his head and placed it on the shelves. "I get what you said Alex. Thanks."
"No problem." Alex said as her phone binged. she was grinning like crazy. "He just asked me out to dinner and he said he was in a meeting just now that's why he didn't reply."
Alex smiled as she took half the pile from his hands to stack onto the shelves.
