POV—Todoroki Shoto

Save Me, Ikari

Don't let me go.

I am in pain.

Father tells me she deserves nothing.

But flashes of her, flashes in the past that

I don't quite remember, flicker in my memory.

Ikari?

Don't let me go.

The night is alive.

As Nichiya, Iida, and the rest file through the busy streets of Camino Ward, I can't help but notice the bright lights penetrating the city. We weave in and out of the large crowds, once in a while catching a glimpse of a TV screen filled with UA's apology. Every time I see one of these screens with Ikari's face on them, I want to vomit.

"Todoroki, I've got the tracker like you asked," Nichiya says, slowing down so she can walk with me instead of Iida, who she'd been bothering for the past hour, "here it is. The newest model I could find, so you'd better thank me later."

"Thank you," I murmur, and I take the sleek, phone-like tracker from her. It takes me a few moments to find the on button, and when I do a green light flashes on the screen. From there, it doesn't take me long to find where to insert the coordinates I had memorized from Ikari's tracker. My hands shake as I type the numbers in, half-wondering if I had remembered them correctly.

After a few moments of processing, the tracker beeps.

"It's only a few miles away," I announce hoarsely to the rest of the group. "We need to move."

Without thinking, I head in the direction of where it could be. Before I can make the move a manicured hand shoots out, blocking my path.

"Not so fast," Nichiya interjects, "you are all UA students, and from what I've heard Class 1-A has been attacked multiple times. Don't the villains know your names and faces?"

"That is a very logical point. It would sufficiently increase our chances of getting killed if we are walking in public without a proper disguise," Iida adds. Kirishima and Midoriya voices their agreement. I know that I usually don't act this rashly, but Ikari's safety is on the line.

"Alright. Then what do we do?"

A devious grin slides on Nichiya's face and she steps back, revealing a shop that she had been blocking. It is large and bright, filled with hundreds of fantastical shades and dozens of colorful signs, all saying different things. From what I can see from the windows, racks of clothing, accessories, and shoes line the shelves.
