"Now that we've filled up our bellies, it's time for the—"
"TEST OF COURAGE!" Ashido, Sero, Kirishima, Sato and Kaminari chants, their enthusiasm nearly over the roof. I rotate my shoulder, standing to the side. Although I haven't quite recovered from our strenuous training today, I am looking forward to this activity— but my anticipation is nothing compared to their excitement. Those five must be the most pumped in the class.
"Unfortunately, those who had failed the final exams will have to take extra classes with me..." Aizawa cuts in, his voice dull and croaky. He clears his throat as they immediately begin to complain, Ashido nearly bursting into tears, "The training today was not enough for you, and you had all failed the final exams. Sorry about that."
Just by Aizawa's tone, I can tell he is not sorry at all. He ropes them all into his cloth and drags them away, screaming and begging to go back.
"Okay, back on track," Mandalay explains, after their sobs finally echo to nothing, "Class B will be the scarers first. Class A will be grouped in pairs and will walk on the trail." She points to a dark overhang of trees, where a path is barely visible, illuminated by the moonlight. "Those who are the scarers are not allowed to make direct contact. Show us how scary you can be with your Quirks!"
"It would have been so fun if I were the scarer..." I sigh. I had already come up with several plans in my head to effectively scare away class 1B, and I had been so excited to put them into action. I hang my head as Tiger continues to explain that we will be drawing lots to determine these pairings.
"Additionally, there will be slips of paper with your names on the trail. You should bring these back to us, to show that you had been on the trail!" Mandalay finishes.
I am paired with Aoyama. It doesn't seem to be the worst thing in the world. At least I'm not with Min—
"Aoyama, please please swith with me, come on, pleath..." Mineta is halfway near drooling, his hands outreached, his lisp even more pronounced. Aoyama shakes his head instantly, putting his hands up in front of him.
