"Once I love you, I won't be able to stop."— Hebinoya Ikari
POV—Hebinoya Ikari

Don't let me go.
Nothing is perfect.
Everything has a flaw.
At least that's what Father told me.
But when I look into his eyes all
I can see is his perfection.
Don't let me go.
The cashier's eyes wander over Shoto's face, hungrily taking in his features. She bats her eyelashes at him as we order our drinks.
"I'll have a small with matcha tea and boba please," I say slowly, eyeing her with distaste. She absentmindedly puts in my order, her eyes never leaving Shoto's face. When he orders, she leans in close. Too close.
Is she stupid or blind? Perhaps both.
Fire sears my stomach, the furrows in my brows turning deeper.
"That's a great choice," she coos, flashing Shoto a bright smile. "Will that be all?"
"Tell me Sho-yo," I say abruptly, wrapping my arms around his waist and squeezing tight. "Is that all? Do you need anything else?" I smile sweetly at him, looking up at his slightly confused face. He shakes his head uncertainly. When I look back, the cashier's eyes are widened, as if she's finally seeing me for the first time.
"This time I'll be paying for it." I pull out my credit card and I shove it towards her before Shoto can take out his wallet. "Please make sure both mine and my boyfriend's drinks are prepared," I say, making sure that the word 'boyfriend' is clear.
The cashier sniffs indignantly, takes my card, and disappears from the counter.
"Why'd you mention I'm your boyfriend?"
"You mean you're not?"
"I never said that." Shoto gazes at me for a long minute, taking in every detail. "We're going to the bakery next door."
I swipe the drinks from the counter when they are ready.
"Let me try your drink. I'll give you mine," I say, switching cups with him. His plain milk tea is too bland for me, but I don't mention that. He takes a drink of mine too.
"I should've expected you'll get green tea," he says, taking another sip.
"Don't drink it all!"
