Don't let me go.

I've never felt more liberated.

After my burden of Ryo has disappeared,

It feels like I'm a new person.

I can't thank the person

That told me to do this enough.

Don't let me go.

I walk into Nezu's office. Morning light filters through the windows as I take a seat across from him.

"I find that you are well?" He asks, his dark eyes glinting with intelligence.

"Yes, sir. Thank you for asking."

"I've received the doctor's diagnosis, and he's cleared you to stay in school for now," Nezu says, taking out a file and scanning it through. "Everything's alright?"

"Yes."

"Perfect. If you're ever struggling again, don't hesitate to reach out. We've released another public statement for you about your relation with your Father, and we've been keeping things under control. Everything should be alright."

"Thank you, sir."

"Moving on," Nezu says, pulling out another file, this one much thicker and colored in pink, "is regarding your adoption. You've reported your current guardian, Tanaka Ryo, as unfit for his assigned position. Do you have any person in mind that might be able to take you in?"

I sit in silence, my mind brewing with worry and fear. They clash together, and when I think of one person that might be suitable, relief surfaces, but it is washed down all the way again when I wonder if he will take me in or not. Either way, I nod.

"Yes, I do."

Don't let me go.

"Good morning."

"Good morning!"

Our class's chirps is starkly different from Aizawa's bored and droning voice.

"Mr. Aizawa? Your bandages are gone." Asui's observant eyes travels up and down Aizawa as she puts a finger to her lips.

"The old lady went overboard on the treatment." Aizawa says, itching at his cheek idly. "More importantly, we're having a special hero informatics class today."
