Chapter Forty-Four- Graduation dinner

~Momoko's P.O.V~

"Calm down! It will be okay momo!", miyako said as she placed her hand on my shoulder trying to sooth me. "I.. I can't.. I'm so nervous!", I said. "Hey it will be alright kaoru.. Every thing should go well!", boomer said to kaoru also trying to calm her down. Right now we are all outside of the restaurant we promised to meet our families in. Kaoru and I are both nervous about talking with our parents. Kaoru is afraid her dad won't approve of butch so she has been nervous ever since the graduation ceremony. I think butch was supposed to meet her parents there first but kaoru decided to put it off until later on at dinner. I understand how she feels. I was nervous for brick to meet my family but they was nice and welcomed him right away. Hopefully it's like that for butch to. Normally I'd try to help calm kaoru down but I was to busy freaking out myself. I'm so nervous to tell my parents about going to California. I'm afraid they will get mad or blame brick for the decision just like they did when I moved out. I know they really love brick now because of what he did for me but what if this makes them unhappy with the both of us? "How do you know every thing is going to be okay?", kaoru asked. "Well.. I don't but I have faith that as long as butch behaves himself every thing will go fine", boomer said. "Look you two need to take a few deep breaths to calm down. Every things going to be okay", miyako said as she looked at kaoru and I. "How are you not nervous! Boomer is meeting your grandma for the first time! You should be afraid that she won't like him!", kaoru said. "I'm not afraid because I know my grandma loves me and accepts my decisions. She knows that I can handle myself. She trusts me.. Your parents trust you to so you shouldn't be freaking out!", miyako said. "Miya is right", boomer said. "I know this is scary but it's going to be okay.. Kaoru think of this as a game okay? The only way you can win this game is by butch meeting your parents and you telling them every thing good you see in butch", miyako said. "A game huh? I can win any game", kaoru said as she smiled. "That's the spirit kaoru!", miyako said as she smiled. "Now momoko think of this as a video game and your about to face the boss. You are the person controlling the game. You make your own decisions for your player and don't question yourself when the boss throws a few fire balls your way. The boss can't control you so don't be afraid to make your own decisions", boomer said. My mouth slightly gapped open as I stared at boomer. In a weird way what he said made sense. Boomer was right. Even if my parents get mad at brick and I, its not there decision to make. It's ours. So whether they support our decisions or not, we shouldn't let it affect our decision. Sure I really value what my parents think but some times I need to forget about what they want me to do. "Awh dude.. You broke my girlfriend", brick said as he looked at me then at boomer. I quickly closed my mouth and checked back into reality. "No.. Boomer made a really good point", I said. "A point only you could understand", butch said. "Thank you boomer, Miya. You two was very helpful", I said as I smiled at them. "Momoko is right. You two did good", kaoru said. "Your welcome guys but I really think we should go in now. We have been out here for ten minutes", boomer said. "Our families will start to worry", miyako said. "Plus I'm starving!", butch said as he crossed his arms. "When are you not starving? You ate a sandwich before we left momoko and brick's apartment", kaoru said as a smile played on her lips. "A mans gotta eat", butch said as he smirked. "Well lets go then", kaoru said. Butch seems like he isn't nervous to meet kaoru's parents at all. i hope he makes a good impression. Butch even dressed nice for this! Butch wore a black button up shirt with a green tie that matched kaoru's green blouse. Butch also wore black dress pants. Kaoru was wearing a green blouse and black dress pants. we tried to talk her into wearing a dress but she wouldn't give in to miyako's pleas. boomer wore a white button up shirt with a light blue tie that matched miyako's dress. he also wore white dress pants. miyako wore a very pretty light blue strapless dress. brick wore a black button up shirt with a red tie that matched my dress. he also wore a pair of black dress up pants. I was also wearing a strapless dress but mine was red. i think its amazing that we got the guys to color coordinate with us... well butch and brick any way, boomer is so into fashion just like miyako that they always color coordinate for events like this. We all quickly walked into the restaurant and was greeted my a hostess. "Table for six?", the hostess asked. "No, we're with the Akatsutsumi, Matsubara, gotokuji party", kaoru said. I wonder who set reservations for this place? They couldn't of just used one of our last names instead of all of them? "Ahh yes the party of fifteen. Right this way", the hostess said as she waved for us to follow her. We quickly followed her into the dinning area. There was a large rectangular table in the middle of the floor with my dad, mom, kuriko, miyako's grandma, kaoru's mom and dad, shou, dai and even nami! I smiled in excitement as I seen her. I haven't seen her since the day after mahito's party. Nami smiled and waved at us as she seen us. Both of my parents smiled widely at brick. They really do like him. Every one quickly exchanged hellos and started to sit down but of course the guys had to be gentlemen and pull the chairs out for us girls. I'm surprised butch did it but he is probably just trying to make a good impression. Kaoru's dad's name is tokio and her mothers name is mitsuko. Miyako's grandmas name is kiyoko. Tokio of course was wearing his wrestling mask so no one really knew what he looked like. Tokio wore a white button up shirt with a black tie. Mitsuko had her dark hair pulled back into a pony tail. Mitsuko wore a black dress that went up around her neck. Shoe had spiked green hair and wore a white button up shirt like his father except he did not have on a tie. Dai wore a dark green button up shirt with a tie that matched the color of Nami's dress. Nami's dress was really pretty. Like mitsuko's dress this dress also went around her neck. Kiyoko had her gray hair pulled back into a bun and wore a pretty all white dress that had long sleeves. The dress looked pretty vintage so she must of had it for a while. My dad wore a white button up shirt and a red tie that matched my mothers dress that also went around her neck. Kuriko wore a cute little dark orange dress that had short sleeves. Every one looked really nice tonight. "There's my little sister", dai said teasingly. I'm sure that if there wasn't a table between dai and kaoru, dai would of given kaoru a noogie. "There's my annoying big brother", kaoru said as she smiled. Tokio cleared his throat as he looked at kaoru. "Oh um uh dad this is butch", kaoru said as she gestured to butch. "Hello sir", butch said as he reached his hand across the table to shake tokio's hand. Tokio stared hard at butch. Oh no... Tokio isn't going to be easy on him. "Tokio!..", mitsuko whispered sternly as she looked at her husband. "Hello", Tokio said with a rather unpleasant voice as he shook butch's hand. "Hey butch, how's it going?", dai asked as he looked at his dad. Wow is dai really trying to help take some pressure off of kaoru and butch? That's oddly nice of him. "I'm good, how are you dai?", butch said as be smiled politely. "I'm doing good", dai said as he smiled. "You two know each other?", mitsuko asked. "Yeah I ran into these guys at the amusement park a while ago", dai said. "So you have known about them?", Tokio asked. "Yeah.. You're not mad that I knew are you?", dai asked. "I just wish you would of told me that's all", Tokio said. "Wasn't my secret to tell", dai said as he shrugged his shoulders. "Butch wasn't a secret.. Dad I swear I was planning on telling you but I didn't know how", kaoru said. "How long has he been your... Boyfriend?", Tokio asked. "Well pretty much since the beginning of the school year", kaoru confessed. "So it's been months..", Tokio said. "Yes..", kaoru said. "Why didn't you want to tell me?", Tokio asked. "Well.... To be honest I.. I was scared", kaoru said. "Ha! What a chicken! Matsubaras are not supposed to get scared!", shou said as he laughed. "Shut up you little punk!", kaoru threatened. "Shou.. Now is not the time for teasing. Kaoru you know it's not polite to threaten some one at the dinner table", mitsuko said. "Sorry mom", shou and kaoru said. "Now why was you afraid to tell me?", tokio asked. "Well I guess I was afraid you wouldn't like him", kaoru said. "Is there a reason I shouldn't like him?", tokio asked. "Well no but I was just afraid that you wouldn't want me dating him.. I know dads are protective of there daughters and your a wrestler for crying out loud! I know butch is a good fighter but I'm sure you could really hurt him if you tried!", kaoru said. Tokio raised an eye brow at kaoru before he laughed lightly. "You was afraid I was going to hurt him?", tokio asked. "Well yeah!", kaoru said. "Kaoru I wouldn't of let your father hurt butch.. You should of talked to me about him", mitsuko said softly. "Well I was kinda embarrassed to talk about it..", kaoru said. "Why?", mitsuko asked. "Because... I don't know how to explain it.. It's to girly to talk about that kinda stuff. You know I'd rather talk about sports than boys", kaoru said. "Well if it means any thing to you dad.. I approve of butch. He is a good kid. He treats kaoru right", dai said. "Thank you dai", kaoru said as she smiled. "Well butch why don't you tell me something about yourself", tokio said. "Uh well I'm eighteen years old.. A few days younger than kaoru actually--", butch started to say. "Wait wasn't your father that monkey? Mojo Jojo right?", tokio asked. "Mojo is our creator yes but he is not our father", butch said. "So you was a test tube baby?", tokio asked. "Dad!", kaoru said as she gave her dad a shocked look. "It's okay kaoru", butch said. "How can a monkey have human kids?", tokio asked. "Well I guess the story of how the guys was created was never known by the public then huh?", kaoru said as she looked at butch. "No.. Not many people knew", butch said. "Care to enlighten me on this?", tokio asked. "When kaoru was thirteen she became a power puff girl and mojo then stole kaoru's, miyako's and Momoko's things that had there DNA on them and put it into a machine with some of his own hair and chemical z. He used the machine to create us", butch said as he pointed to his brothers. "So if he created you when she was thirteen then how are you eighteen now?", tokio asked. "We was created as thirteen year olds. We never had a childhood", butch said. "So in reality your pretty much five years old right?", tokio asked. "I suppose so. We have only been alive for five years but we are equivalent to the age of eighteen", butch said. "Alright so if you was a rowdy ruff boy why did you decide to become a hero?", tokio asked. "We realized the power puffs would always win and we decided it wasn't worth it to keep causing trouble so we gave up on evil", butch said. "So if your not into evil now what kind of things do you do?", tokio asked. "I like sports. I'd play sports more often but we are usually off saving the town or just spending time with friends", butch said. "You like sports?", tokio asked as he raised an eyebrow. Butch and tokio began to talk about sports and the rest if us didn't care to hear there conversation any more. I hadn't realized every one at the table was focused on there conversation until they started talking about sports. "Grandma I'd like you to meet boomer", miyako said. "Hello ms. gotokuji", boomer said politely as he reached his hand across the table to shake kiyoko's hand. "Hello, boomer it's nice to meet you", kiyoko said as she shook boomers hand. "It's nice to meet you to. Miyako has told me so much about you", boomer said as he smiled. "All good things I hope", kiyoko said jokingly. "Yes, of course! She said you two are very close", boomer said. "I have raised her ever since she was a baby", kiyoko said. "Well you have done a great job raising her. She is one of the best people I know. She is very sweet, caring and very well mannered", boomer said. "I did my best to raise her right. So boomer tell me about yourself", kiyoko said. "Well just like from butch's story I'm also eighteen and was born the same way he was. But I really like fashion. I'm really talented at designing clothes. I also really like animals. I'd love to volunteer at the animal shelter but were usually busy with helping the city or spending time with our friends", boomer said. "You sound like you have a lot in common with miyako. When she was younger she was always drawing pictures. Most kids drew pictures of there pets or even family but not my little miyako. She always drew pictures of clothes", kiyoko said as she laughed lightly remember the old memory. "So how have you been brick? Your sides healing up okay?", my dad asked. I quickly turned my head to look at my parents. "I'm doing fine. The bruising is practically gone", brick said. "Brick has healed up very nicely", I said. "So I seen on the news that you two got your powers back. Did you have fun fighting off princess today?", dad asked. "I had a blast", I said as I smiled. "I'm surprised you sat out of the fight brick. I figured you would have taken care of her so momoko wouldn't take a chance on getting hurt", dad said. "I wanted to make her happy so I let her do what she loves. I new it would make her happy again to fight crime so I sat out of the fight along with our friends. But of course if I knew momoko was in any real danger I would have stepped in in a heart beat", brick said. "Well I'm glad you are making her happy", dad said as he smiled. "He makes me happy every day", I said as I smiled. "You two really spend an awful lot of time together huh?", dad asked. "Well yeah we live together dad. We see each other day and night", I said as I picked up my drink and began taking a sip. "I just hope you two are being safe. We don't need any grand kids for awhile", dad said seriously. In shock I spit the water out of my mouth and started to choke. Both of my parents jumped in surprise because I had scared them with my reaction. I was totally embarrassed! My cheeks was probably redder than my dress! Brick quickly patted my back trying to sooth me. "Dad!", was all I could manage to say still trying to compose myself. "What! I'm being serious!", dad said. "It's not like that! We don't do that!", I said as I frantically used some napkins to wipe up the water that I spit on the table. "Well just keep it in mind honey, some times unplanned babies happen when your not careful", mom said. "Mom!", I complained. I looked up at brick who was just as embarrassed as I was. His cheeks was so red! He looked so cute when he blushed. I could hear kuriko snickering at our conversation and I shot her a 'shut up now' look. Kuriko smiled and rolled her eyes. I looked down at every one else in hopes that no one was listening to our conversation but unlucky for me kaoru, butch, miyako, boomer, nami and dai was staring at me giggling. Oh no they heard what my parents said! I could feel my cheeks turning even redder. I quickly looked back to my parents and cleared my throat. "You don't have to worry about that part of my life... Now can we please talk about some thing else?", I pleaded. "Alright then--", dad started to say but stopped when the waitress stopped at our table. "Can I take your orders?", the waitress asked. Shit! I forgot to look at the menu! I quickly grabbed the menu and flipped it open. My eyes quickly skimmed over all the words on the page trying to find some thing that I liked. "Hey your brick Jojo right? From the rowdy ruff boys?", the waitress asked. "That's me", brick said as he smiled politely. I looked up at the waitress and smiled politely but she ignored me and her eyes never left bricks face. "Wow I never thought I'd meet you in person! I have been a huge fan for a long time now!", the waitress said. "Even when I was a villain?", brick asked. "Yes! I don't know why but I was. Then when you became a hero it was like crazy awesome!", the waitress said. "Well thank you. It's nice to know that I have fans", brick said. "Can I have you autograph?", the waitress asked. "Of course", brick said. The waitress quickly handed brick her notepad and pen. I noticed that as brick started to write she batted her eye lashes and smiled flirtatiously at him as she put her hand on his shoulder. Suddenly I felt protective of brick. Why was she doing that? he has a girlfriend? Me! And I'm sitting right here! Every one knows brick and I are together. Am I feeling jealous? She is really pretty with her dark blue eyes and long blonde hair. She looked young. Maybe our age or a year older. I bit my bottom lip as I stared at her uncomfortably. "There you go", brick said as he handed back the pen and note pad back to the waitress. "Thank you so much", the waitress said as she beamed and finally took her hand off bricks shoulder. "Your welcome", brick said politely as he flipped open his menu. Seriously?! That idiot didn't even notice she was flirting with him? "So any way can I take your orders? Is this all on one bill or is it all separate?", the waitress asked. "Separate", dad said. "Alright who is on what bill?", the waitress asked. "I'm paying for yours", brick said as he looked at me. "It's cool I can pay for mine", I said. "No! You are my girlfriend its my duty as your boyfriend to pay for your food", brick said. I noticed the waitress frown at me hearing brick call me his girlfriend so I had to fight back a smirk. "We can split the bill?", I offered. "Nope I got this love. We're on a bill together", brick said. "Brick wait this place is kinda expensive! I cant let you pay for me to. I know your being a gentlemen but--", I started to say. "Relax you two! Your on our bill. We are paying. It's our treat to you. It's your graduation dinner after all", dad said. "Thank you", brick and I both said. So after a few minutes every one ordered they're food and the waitress left our table. "You can be so difficult some times", brick said as he smiled at me. "Hey I was trying to save you money", I said. "But I'm the guy. I'm supposed to pay for dates", brick said. "Your such a gentlemen", I said. "You say it as if its a bad thing?", brick said. "No it's a good thing but I just feel like I should help pay for dates to", I said. "Alright fine next time we have movie night ill let you pay the rental fee for wrong turn six", brick said. "What?! They made another one!?", I asked. "They sure did", brick said as he smiled. "Brick lets have a movie night tomorrow! Lets binge watch all the wrong turn movies!", I said as I smiled. "We can even invite our friends if you like", brick said. "It will be fun!", I said as I smiled. "Hey I remember you used to watch the first and second wrong turn movies all the time! They used to scare me!", kuriko said. "Yes.. I remember momoko scaring you every chance she got!", mom said as she smiled remembering the old memory. "Kuriko you know it's just a movie with actors so I don't see why those movies scared you so bad", I said. "I was young", kuriko said as she shrugged her shoulders. Well I guess since we're on the topic of movies and acting I should tell my parents about brick and I's plans. I look a deep breath and tried to ready myself for there criticism if they are against the idea. "Mom, dad brick and I actually have some important news for you", I said as I could feel my hand start to shake nervously. Brick quickly grabbed my hand and held it tight to help calm my nerves. "Important news huh?", dad asked. "Yes..", I said. "Are you engaged?! Are you going to be my son-in-law?!", dad asked brick. "Dad! No! It's about going to college", I said. "Awh... Well darn.. Well wait no I mean good tell me about college. I'm glad you decided on going", dad said. "Jeez what is it with you wanting a son-in-law?", I asked. "I like brick. He saved your life so I want him to always be in your life to protect you. But tell me about college", dad said. "Well brick and I decided what we want to major in", I said. "What?", mom asked. "Theater", I said. "Really?! I took theater in high school", mom said excitedly. "What really?", I asked. "Yes I loved it! I had always wanted to be an actress but I started a family instead", mom said as she took my dads hand and held it tightly as she smiled at him. "Well mom I'm glad you support that decision", I said as I smiled. Now I just have to explain California to them. "We decided that after this summer we want to move to California to go to college and to find jobs.. Then after we graduate we want to move back here", I said. "You want to go all the way to America?", dad asked in slight shock. "Well California is a great place for actors to start out", I said. "I could send you care packages every week!", mom said excitedly. Well apparently she supports this decision to. "Well as long as you get a good education I support your decision", dad said. "Wait what?! You support this?", I asked in shock. "Well yeah", dad said. "I was so afraid to tell you guys because I was afraid you would get mad at me or blame brick for it. We are all on good terms again and I was so afraid of messing it up!", I said. "I think it's a great idea! Our daughter could be a movie star!", mom said as she grabbed onto my dads arm. "I think your more excited than they are", dad said as he patted moms hand. "Wait... Your going to move away?", kuriko asked in a hurt voice. "Just for a while. Ill come back after college and we will visit as often as we can while we are in college.. I promise", I said. Kuriko frowned sadly as she looked down at the table. I smiled softly at her as she gave me her pouting face. Seeing her like that reminded me of when we were younger. She used to pout over the stupidest of things but it was cute when she pouted so I usually always gave in to her. "Hey don't be sad kuriko.. Maybe you could come visit us some time", brick said snapping me out of my thoughts. "You guys would really let me stay with you?", kuriko asked. "Of course! Maybe you could stay a weekend or some thing. Mom and dad could even come if they like", I said. "I'm sure we will visit you when ever we can", mom said as she smiled. After a few more minutes our food had arrived. While we ate every one was talking peacefully. It was nice to all be together like this. I was happy to see my father be so friendly with brick! I was happy to see kiyoko since I had not visited with her in such a long time. I was happy to see that kaoru's parents was also being so friendly to butch. tokio seemed to like butch after he was getting to know him. I was also happy to see dai and nami together as well. They looked so happy together. It was nice seeing shou as well. Even though he could be an annoying brat at times but he was still a good kid. He has grown so much since I had last seen him. I had noticed he was sneaking glances at sister. I wonder why that is? Maybe he thinks she is pretty? Who knows? But if ken was here I'm pretty sure he would be jealous. Kuriko still hasn't told mom and dad about ken so I wonder when she will tell them? When kuriko goes to visit ken she usually tells our parents she is going to the lab to visit with me. So when I move away I wonder what her new excuse will be? "So what does the professor think? You know about you leaving?", dad asked. "We haven't told him yet.. But he knew this day would come soon enough", I said. "Every one did.. This is why you can't have young super heroes. They eventually have to go off to college", brick said. "But of course we will come back if there is serious trouble", I said. "Well at least we will have the other puffs and ruffs here", dad said. "Actually kaoru and butch are leaving for college as well", I said. "Miyako and boomer are also leaving. There going to Milan to start a clothing line with miyako's parents", brick said. "So our city will not have any super heroes to save us?", dad asked. "Well maybe a new hero will step forward once we leave?", brick said as he shrugged. "Will you still save people in California? Or are you two taking a break from being heroes while your in college?", mom asked. "If some one needs help I will help them the best that I can", I said. "Well just be carful. California is a really big place. Who knows what kind of villains live there", mom said. I hadn't thought of that. I wonder what kind of villains live there? Could they be worse than mojo? Nothing could be worse than mojo. Mojo is to annoying. Mojo isn't very smart or strong but he tried to hurt my friends! He tried to break brick and I up! So in my mind he was our worst villain. "I see every one has finished eating. Would you like your bills now?", the flirty waitress asked as she smiled at brick. "Yes please", dad said. Soon every one had payed there bills and we was all standing outside getting ready to say our good byes and go our separate ways. "I love you honey", mom said as she held me tightly in her arms hugging me. "I love you to mom", I said as I hugged her back. "I'm going to miss you when you go off to college", mom whispered. I could tell she was trying not to cry. "Mom", I said softly trying to comfort her. "I just can't believe your going to college this fall... It seems like only yesterday you was just learning how to walk!", mom said. "We can video chat when ever you want. Just ask kuriko to help you with the laptop and I'm sure she can get it working", I said. "I will call you every day!", mom said as she let me go. "Okay mom", I said as I giggled. "This is such an emotional day. I can't believe my baby graduated from high school! And I can't believe your leaving for college!", mom said. "Mom it's not like I'm leaving tonight. We have all summer to spend time together!", I said as I giggled. "I know but summers go by to quick", mom said as she smiled. "Your right about that", I said as my dad pulled me into a hug. "Don't let your mother fool you. She isn't worried about you going to college... She is just worried that she is getting old!", dad joked. "Dad!", I said as I laughed. "Hachizou!", mom said as dad let me go. "I was just kidding.. Relax!", dad said as he smiled and put his arm around my mothers waist. "Bye momoko", kuriko said as she stepped forward and gave me a hug. "Bye kuriko", I said as I hugged her back. once kuriko and I parted mom gave brick a hug and dad shook brick's hand. After we said our good byes my parents and kuriko left to go find there car. Miyako and boomer was walking towards us from the parking lot. They must of been walking kiyoko to her car. "Well it was nice meeting you butch", tokio said as he smiled and shook butch's hand. "It was nice meeting you to sir. We will have to watch a football game some time", butch said as he smiled. "Sounds like a plan", tokio said as he smiled. After kaoru and her parents exchanged good byes her parents left along with shou so now it was only the six of us and dai and nami left. "Well I think dad approves of butch", dai said as he smiled. "I'm so glad he does", kaoru said. "See kaoru.. I told you every thing would be okay", miyako said as she smiled. "I guess I was worried for nothing", kaoru said. "So does your grandma approve of boomer?", butch asked. "Oh of course! She loves him!", miyako said as she smiled. "She said I was a young gentlemen and that she was glad that miyako found a guy that really cares for her", boomer said as he smiled. "I'm happy for you boom", brick said as he put his hand on boomer's shoulder. "Thanks man.. I'm happy for you to", boomer said. "For what?", brick asked. "I'm happy your still alive", boomer said as he snickered. "Yeah i thought you two was gonna die when Momoko's parents brought up your sex life", butch said as he laughed. "Hey! Shut up! It wasn't funny!", I said as I crossed my arms. I could feel my cheeks turn red with embarrassment as every one laughed. "I actually wasn't referring to that butch", boomer said. "Why else would I have died?", brick asked confused. "I seriously thought momoko was going to kill you for letting the waitress flirt with you", boomer said. "What? she wasn't flirting! She was a fan! She is just friendly that's all", brick said. "Are you blind? That girl was totally flirting with you", I said. "Are you sure?", brick asked. "You didn't notice her touching your shoulder as she batted her eye lashes and smiled flirtatiously at you?", I asked. "No?", brick said. "Huh? Maybe you are blind? How many fingers am I holding up brick?", butch teased as he held up his hand. "Well maybe I didn't notice because I don't pay attention to other girls", brick said as he crossed his arms. I blushed when I heard his response. "Aww.. Good answer bricky", I said as I grabbed bricks hand and stood on my tippy toes and gave brick a kiss on his cheek. "More like nice save", butch joked making kaoru and dai laugh. "Hey I wasn't trying to save my own ass! I was being serious", brick complained. "Yeah right! "Come on those movies weren't even scary", I said. "Well you screamed a lot during that movie!", brick said. "Because you was being an asshole and scaring me!", I said as I smiled. "I had to! You was making it to easy for me", brick said as he smiled. "Don't worry. Ill get you back for it", I said. "I'm looking forward to it!", brick said as he smirked at me. "You could always ambush him again momoko", kaoru said. "No way! That shit hurt!", butch complained. "It wasn't that bad!", brick said. "Because she was easy with you!", butch said. "So your ambushing guys now?", dai asked. "No. Kaoru and I was trying to prove a point to the guys", I said. "The guys wanted us to sit out of a fight with the punks so We was trying to prove that we was tough", kaoru explained. "Did you prove yourselves to them?", nami asked. "Yep", kaoru said as she smiled. "So are we going to grace winters party? It's starting soon", butch asked. "I almost forgot!", kaoru said. "Well then I guess we should go", dai said. "You can come to", kaoru said. "Nah that's okay. We're in college. We don't wanna crash a high school graduation party", dai said. "Oh come on we crashed a college party", kaoru said. "No it's okay. I'm gonna go spend some time with nami", dai said as he smiled and held Nami's hand making her blush. "Alright you kids have fun", kaoru joked. "You to", dai said as he and nami started to walk away. We all waved good bye to dai and nami. "Since when does he pass up on a party? He must really like her", kaoru said once dai and nami was gone. Kaoru was right. Dai did look a lot happier around nami. Nami even looked happier when dai was around. I'm really glad we forced them into seven minutes of heaven together. Im sure that if we wouldn't of helped convince dai to ask her out they wouldn't be a couple.
