Chapter Fifteen, Momoko's Birthday

~Momoko's P.O.V~

"make a wish", brick said as he lit a candle with a lighter. i smiled as i blew out the candle. brick and i sat a table outside a bakery. it was my birthday so brick and i decided to spend some time together alone. i didn't really want a party but my mother insisted that i would have one. so earlier today i spent time with my family having a small party. after that party i went and picked up brick so we could spend time together. "what did you wish for", brick asked as he smiled. "nothing. i have every thing i'v ever wanted right here", i said as i reached my hand out and laid it on brick's hand. "me?", brick asked. i nodded my head yes. "oh come one there has to be some thing else you want", brick said. i thought for a minute before i answered him. "well i guess i'v always liked the idea that id own my own bakery some day or become an actress or some thing", i said. "who knows maybe you will... maybe we will", brick said with a smile. "i'd love to work with you by my side every day", i said softly as i smiled. "we work together side by side every day", brick said softly after he looked around to make sure we was alone and no one could hear us. "i'm glad we do because i love spending time with you and i love being a hero", i said. "you've always dreamed of being a super hero when you was a kid right", brick asked. "yeah that's all i ever wanted. well that and love. i'v always been in love with the idea of love. my other dream is to be a beautiful bride some day", i said. "dreams do come true then. and one day you will be a beautiful bride", brick said softly. "yes they do. and i'm glad mine came true.", i said softly. "it must of been hard for you to give up your powers to defeat him", brick said. "oh believe me it was. but i knew i was doing the right thing even if that meant giving up my dream", i said. "well luckily you will never have to do it again", brick said. i smiled as i pulled the candle out of the cupcake. i pulled the cupcake in half so brick could have one side and i could have the other. "i hope not. it would be hell giving up my powers.", i said. "i'm glad your dreams came true", brick said as he smiled then took a bite of the cupcake. "did you have dreams growing up?", i asked before i took a bite of the cupcake. "well for the first part of my life i wanted to rule the world. but then i gave up evil so my dream was to be a rock star/movie star or a video game champion. and i always wanted to find the love of my life and spend the rest of my life with her", brick said. "maybe your dreams will come true some day", i said softly as i smiled. "i think one already has", brick said softly. "aw come here", i said as i leaned a crossed the table then reached out and grabbed brick's face with my hands and pulled his face to mine softly kissing his lips. he kissed me back. i pulled away and smiled at brick. the sun had started setting so it started to get dark outside. "we should probably get going before it gets to dark", brick said as he stood up and walked over to my side of the table. brick pulled a red bandanna out of his pocket and covered my eyes with it. brick tied it tight so it wouldn't fall off. "brick?", i asked as i stood up. "no its a surprise you cant see where were going", brick said as he put his arm around my waist to help we walk and guide me. "i cant see anything", i said as we started walking. "good because it's a surprise.", brick said.

"okay were here now", brick said. "really? where are we?", i asked. "you will find out soon enough", brick said softly as i heard him open a door. "another door?", i asked. "this is the last one i promise", brick said. "okay", i said as i smiled. "ready?", brick asked. "yeah", i said excitedly. i wonder where we are? what does brick have planed? "alright take off the blind fold", brick said. i reached up and pulled off the bandanna. we was on the roof of the lab. there was white lights that was hanging along the walls and over our heads. it was dark outside now so the lights looked really pretty. the roof was decorated with random pink balloons and streamers. there was also a table with pink cupcakes on it. the table also had a laptop hooked up to speakers and some cups and a few bottles of alcohol. kaoru, butch,boomer, and miyako were standing by the table. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMOKO!", they all yelled. i smiled joyfully at my friends. "thanks guys!", i said happily. "we have all night to party. my parents think i'm staying the night at miyako's house", kaoru said. "yeah and i told my grandma i was staying the night at kaoru's house, miyako said. "sweet", i said as i walked over to my friends with brick. "yep", kaoru said as she handed my a cup off the table. i took a sip from the cup. it tasted like fruit punch but you could definitely taste the alcohol in it. "whats it it?", i asked. "fruit punch and rum so drink up", kaoru said with a smiled. i smiled at kaoru then took another sip. just because were power puff girls doesn't mean we are good girls all of the time. we like to have fun to. "so were did you get the alcohol?", i asked. "i know a guy and that's all there is to know", kaoru said with a smile. "of course", i said as i smiled. every one else grabbed a cup and started drinking. "i'm glad i get to spend my birthday with you guys", i said as i smiled. "we wouldn't miss it", miyako said. butch pressed a button on the laptop and music began to play. i wasn't sure what the song was called but it had a nice beat. "so have you been having a good birthday so far?", boomer asked. "yeah i spent the afternoon with my family. then i spent the rest of the day with brick until he brought me here", i said. "you know we thought about inviting kuriko but we figured since there was going to be alcohol we shouldn't let her come", kaoru said. "good idea. i don't think i could drink in front of her and plus she is to young for this", i said. "i under stand that", miyako said. "i just hope we all get wasted and have a good time", butch said as he smiled. "me to", i said then chugged the rest of my drink. "yeah!", kaoru said as she took my empty cup and refilled it then handed it back to me. "its weird seeing a puff drink rum", brick said. "yeah i always thought you guys were against bad things", butch said. "just because were puffs doesn't mean we don't know how to party", i said as i smiled then took a few sips of my drink. brick laughed at what i said. "i mean like really its not the first time we've drank", i said. "is that so?", butch asked as he looked at kaoru and smiled. "remember the first time we ever tried alcohol?", kaoru asked me. "yeah freshman year, we was in your room at like three in the morning and you pulled it out from under your bed. so we mixed it with a soda and we all tried it", i said. "oh we were so bombed i don't know how we didn't get caught", kaoru said as she laughed. "we would of been if it wasn't for miyako", i said as i laughed to. "that's because i didn't have as much as you guys", miyako said. "good times", i said then took a few more sips of my drink. "no great times", kaoru corrected me. "what about you? what was your first time?", i asked brick. "butch, boomer, and i swiped a bottle of jack daniels from mojo's office and went to my room and started drinking it. but we never got caught", brick said. "boomer is such a baby when he is drunk", butch said. "hey!", boomer said. "what you get a little sad when your wasted", butch said. "so your an angry drunk!", boomer said. "so brick is and idiot and laughs at every thing!, butch said. "hey i'm easily amused not stupid!, brick said. i chuckled at their conversation. "what?", brick asked. "i get that way to", i said. "yeah she is horrible she laughs not stop and she never shuts up", kaoru said. "i have fun", i said as i finished my drink. every one how has at least had two cups to drink. i could already feel myself drifting. i could feel the buzz. i gasped as i heard the some that was playing. it was "you aint seen nothing yet" by avril lavigne. "brick lets dance!", i said as i grabbed brick's hand and pulled him to an open spot. still holding hands we swayed and danced to the music trying not to spill our drinks. so i started to sing along with the song. "first glance, you nearly made my jaw drop. first dance, and you were looking so hot. held hands, i moved in for a lip-lock don't stop baby don't stop baby. at first taste like honey, you were so yum cant wait for a second cause its so fun. third base heading for a home run don't stop baby don't stop baby now", i sang as i smiled at brick. brick smiled back at me. "hold on tight to this roller coaster ride and if your loving this just give me one more kiss cause you aint seen nothing yet. and just let go, if you don't, we'll never know so if your loving this just give me one more kiss cause you aint seen nothing yet. my place you showed up with flowers, your face i could stare at it for hours, cant wait to see your super powers don't stop baby don't stop baby now", i sang,"your car, i'm sitting right beside your a rock star at every thing you do. my heart is ready for the next move, don't stop baby don't stop baby now". before i could even finish the song i started laughing. i ended up missing the ending. brick laughed as well. a slow song came up next. brick and i set our cups on the ground. brick put his hands on my waist and held me. i reached up and put my arms around brick's neck. we softly/gently swayed with the music slow dancing. miyako and boomer joined up. even kaoru and butch joined in on the dancing. i'm not sure what this song was but it was nice and slow. i laid my head on brick's shoulder and closed my eyes. this moment is perfect. "i love you", brick whispered. i lifted my head from his shoulders slowly and looked into his beautiful crimson eyes. brick looked into mine. "i love you to", i said softly as i brick leaned down and kissed me softly. we kissed until the end of the song. an upbeat song came on. "wanna sit down?", brick asked. "sure", i said. brick lead me over to a blanket by the edge of the roof. we both laid down on it and looked up at the stars. "this is beautiful", i said. "i figured you would like it", brick said as he put his arm around me and pulled me close. "i love it. i love this and i love us together", i said. "i hope this night never ends", brick said. "i don't want it to end", i said as i chuckled. brick chuckled to. "i'm glad we have fun together no matter what we do", i said as i smiled. "me to", brick said. "you really do make things seem brighter brick", i said. "your the only reason i even get out of bed in the mornings", brick said softly. "aw brick", i said as i smiled at him. brick leaned over and kissed the side of my head. "this is the best birthday i'v ever had", i said softly. "why?", brick asked. "because your here and our friends are here.", i said. "so i did a good job planning the party?", brick asked. "you did great", i said with a smile. "i'm glad i did good. i wasn't sure how you felt about the alcohol but kaoru insisted we must have it", brick said. "it's not a party without alcohol", i joked. brick laughed softly. i love his laugh it always makes me smile. "yo love birds come on get your asses up and lets play some beer pong", butch called over to us. "you wanna play?", i asked. "sure", brick said with a smile. "green team against red team?", kaoru asked. "were going to win!", i said as i stood up. "its on!", kaoru said with a smile.
