Chapter Twenty, Eight- Finding the ruffs part 2

Momoko's P.O.V~

i quickly got out of bed and walked over to my door. i opened it and walked down the hall way back to the living room. i looked over and kaoru was asleep. glad some of us are actually able to sleep. i tiptoed to the door being careful not to wake kaoru up. i slowly pulled the front door open and walked out into the hallway closing the door behind me. i walked down the hall until i was at the door that said roof. i opened the door and walked up the stairs and pushed the metal door open that leads to the roof. i stepped out onto the roof and the cool night air hit me. some times when i have alot on my mind i like to come up here and just look out over the city. it's pretty calming. i looked over to the railing and was shocked to see some one already there. it was young me. "oh momoko your still awake?", young me said. "yeah im having trouble sleeping tonight", i said as i walked over to the railing. i leaned forward onto the railing and looked out over the city. "i was having some trouble sleeping to so i came up here", young me said. "this is a good place to clear your thoughts", i said as i smiled. "yeah it nice looking out over the city.. it's like picture perfect", young me said. "ah i wouldn't go as far as calling it picture perfect since there are a bunch of villains that live there but it's pretty close", i said. "can i ask you some thing?", young me asked. "well of course", i said. "whats it like being in love?", young me asked. "well its like your heart just swells up and you feel happy. your life isn't just about you any more it's about the one you love... you would give your life up for that person just because you care so much about them", i said. "so you feel that way for brick?", young me asked. "of course.. i love him with all of my heart and i'd give anything to trade places with him right now so i would know he would be the one who is safe...", i said. "do you think you guys will be married one day?", young me asked. "i hope so", i said as i laughed. "what is one of your best memories with him?", young me asked. "i think i'd have to go with our first kiss", i said as i smiled remembering it. "was you nervous?", young me asked as she smiled. "nope.. not at all", i said. "really?", young me asked. "well it did take me by surprise.. but it was a good surprise!", i said as i chuckled. young me laughed to. "then for my birthday brick and i laid right over there on a blanket and looked up at the stars", i said as i pointed across the roof to where brick and i had once laid. "that sounds romantic", young me said as she smiled. "it was... until kaoru and butch challenged us to beer pong. we could of laid there for the whole night but since brick and i can't turn down a challenge we went to play beer pong with everyone else", i said as i smiled. "your life sounds so fun", young me said as she smiled. "hey its your life to", i said as i smiled. "yeah i guess but nothing cool is happening to me", young me said. "not yet since your still young but it will", i said as i smiled. "i hope so", young me said as she yawned. "you should probably get some sleep... we have a big day tomorrow", i said. "yeah your right.. i feel tired any way", young me said as she started to walk back to the door that led back into the building. "night", i called back to her. "night and it was really good talking to you", young me called as she let the door close behind her. i stared off over the city looking at all of the bright lights that lite up the city. "im going to find you brick", i murmured as i put my face in my hands. i stood there silently trying to clear my thoughts for a few minutes until i heard foot steps. i quickly whirled around to see no one was there. "hello?", i called. no anwser. maybe it was all in my head. i turned back around to the railing and gasped when i seen some one sitting on the railing smiling at me. the first thing i seen was his face. "brick!", i gasped as i practically threw myself on him hugging him. i buried my face into his neck. i couldn't fight back the tears so i began sobbing. they were tears of joy of course. i could feel his arms wrap around me but some thing was different. but i didn't care to wonder what was different. i was just glad he was here. "oh baby i missed you so much", i sobbed. "your crushing me!", brick said. wait this wasn't his voice... his voice is deeper and huskier than that. i quickly pulled away and looked at brick. suddenly my eyes filled with tears again. this time they were sad tears. that guy isn't brick. this guy looked younger... he looked like brick when i had first met him... this was young brick. i fell to the ground and sobbed. cursing to myself. "hey..hey don't cry! it's going to be okay! i know where brick is and i want to help", young brick said as he hopped off the railing and kneeled down next to me. "you know where he is?", i asked as i forced myself to stop crying and compose myself. "yes... mojo has him and his brothers", young brick said. "take me to them!", i said as i stood up. "we need to get the others first", young brick said as he stood up to. "take us to the others", a voice said. i turned to see young butch and young boomer. "follow me. there downstairs in brick and i's apartment. "we share and apartment?", young brick asked. "future you and i do", i said. "do we share a bed?", young brick asked as he raised an eyebrow. "yes", i said. "do we do things in that bed?", young brick asked as he smirked. "damn i forgot how much of a perv you used to be", i said as i shook my head. "so is that a yes?", young brick asked as he smiled. "look when we find brick ask him all of your questions!", i said as i started to walk over to the door. I opened the door and walked down the steps. i pushed open the next door and walked into the hallway followed by the guys. i walked down the hall till i was at brick and i's apartment door. i pushed open the door and flicked on the light as i walked in. one of the guys closed the door when they were all in. "kaoru! wake up!", i yelled. i could see kaoru stirring around a little bit. i walked over to the hallway and yelled for miyako. "what the hell are you yelling for?!", kaoru asked angily. "you need to get up right now", i said as i walked over and stood behind the couch and looked over the back at kaoru. "why?", kaoru asked as she sat up. i stepped aside revealing the guys. "oh shit!", kaoru said as she quickly jumped up off the couch. miyako walked out of the hallway rubbing her eyes. "what is it? oh my...", miyako said as she seen the guys. "i couldn't sleep so i went up to the roof to try and clear my head and these guys found me... they know where the guys are!", i said. "what who has them!?", miyako asked. "mojo!", i said. "oh fuck i should of known! it's always mojo!", kaoru said. "where are they?", miyako asked. "mojo has them tied up in the basement of an abandon building", young brick said. "lets go get the young puffs and we can go get them", i said. "well lets go!", kaoru said as she smiled and quickly walked to the door. every one followed her until we were in the elevator. kaoru pressed a button and the doors closed and the elevator started to go down. "you have aged really well! i'd like to flip your skirt again some time!", young butch said as he smirked. "oh shit...", kaoru muttered. "yeah i know i forgot about them being pervs when they were this young", i said. "hey where not pervs were just interested!", young boomer said as he was eyeing miyako. "we're to old for you! save it for the young puffs!", i said. the elevator doors came open and we all ran out into the hallway. young brick and i ran to where my old room was. which was where young me was sleeping. kaoru and young butch ran to kaoru's room where young kaoru was sleeping. miyako and young boomer ran to her room where young miyako was sleeping. we all started banging on the doors yelling for them to come out. as i was banging on the door the door came open and young me stood there looking at me in shock as she seen young brick. "come on there going to help us find the guys", i said as i turned and walked back to the elevator where miyako, young miyako and young boomer was waiting. "damn it why do i have to be a heavy sleeper!", kaoru yelled as she was still banging on young kaoru's door. kaoru stepped back and lifted her leg up and kicked the door with all her strength busting open the door. i could hear young kaoru yell, "what the heck!". kaoru quickly went into the room. "damn i think I'm in love!", young butch said as he smirked and walked back over to us. kaoru and young kaoru came out of the room and walked over to us. "you didn't have to break my door!", young kaoru protested. "then you should of woke up!", kaoru said angrily as she pressed the elevator button. after a few seconds the doors opened and we stepped inside. the doors closed as kaoru pressed a button to take us to the ground floor. once the doors came open we all quickly ran out and to the doors that led out side. i pushed open the door and held it open for every one else as they walked out. once we were all outside we quickly transformed and flew into the sky. "lead the way brick", i said. "hey wait why does brick get to lead the way?", young butch protested. "okay fine you lead the way", i said. "but what if i wanted to lead the way!?", young brick protested, "oh my gosh! some one just lead the fucking way!", buttercup said angrily. "why don't you all just lead the way okay?", bubbles said. all three of the guys flew ahead of us and led us. after a few minutes a tall abandon building came into view. "this is it!", young boomer said. "look once we get there the puffs need to wait outside in case mojo tries to flee. us guys will keep mojo busy while you older puffs get the older ruffs out of the basement okay", young brick said. "got it", i said as we landed in front of the building. we quickly followed the guys inside except for the young puffs. i looked around to see a big empty room. spider webs were every where. i crinkled my nose at the sight of a huge spider in it's web. "boys? is that you?", i heard Mojo's voice call. "run hurry the basement door is right there!", young brick said as he pointed. us girl quickly bolted for the door but it was to late mojo had seen us. "what are they doing here!?", mojo demanded as i opened the door. i peeked back to see the guys fighting with mojo. i quickly ran down the steps and stopped. it was pitch black down here. there was no lights on so i could hardly see. "look for a light switch... but he careful there could be more villains down here", i whispered to the girls. we all quickly held out our hands to feel around on the walls for a light switch. i walked along a wall for a while but i didn't feel any thing. i decided to walk across the room and try that wall. i turned and started to walk but then i felt some thing run across my foot and i already knew it was a rat. i screamed as i felt it run across my other foot. Well so much for being quiet so no villains would hear us. i backed up and hit some thing which made me fall backwards but surprisingly i didn't fall that far. it was almost like i fell on some ones lap. "what the?", a mans voice said. i knew that voice any where! that's brick's voice! suddenly the lights flicked on. i looked to see that buttercup had found the light switch. "momoko!", brick gasped. "brick!", i gasped as i quickly hugged him tight. i began sobbing tears of joy as i hugged him. "oh baby its okay! i missed you so much!", brick said. i quickly pulled away and kissed brick on his lips then all over his face. he laughed as i did so. i looked over to see bubbles and buttercup hugging it out with their boyfriends as well. "hurry and untie me before M comes back", brick said. "M?", i asked as i quickly wiped the tears from my face as i stood up. i quickly walked to the back of the chair that he was tied up in and began to try and untie him but the knots were really tight. "the guy that kidnapped us said his name was M", brick said. "mojo kidnapped you. the young ruffs told us", i said as i tried pulling on the rope but it was no use. the rope was to tight. "fuck! i can't untie this!", buttercup yelled. "i can't either", bubbles said. "we need to find some thing to cut it with!", i said. "use your fire power to cut it!", butch said as he looked at me. "no way! it could burn one of you guys! I know in the real world professor said you guys wouldn't be hurt from it but in this simulation it's hard to tell what will happen!", i said. "so start with brick! if it burns him then we will know if it will work or not", butch joked. "butch this is no time to be joking!", buttercup said as she looked around the room. suddenly there was a loud thud. i looked over to see the young ruffs getting thrown into the basement one by one. young brick laid on the floor grabbing his arm. he must of been hurt. young boomer and young butch also looked like they were in pain. mojo slowly walked down the steps and smirked at us when he seen us. i quickly walked around brick's chair and stood in front of him ready to protect him if mojo tried any thing. buttercup and bubbles did the same. "so you figured it out huh?", mojo asked. none of us said any thing. "my boys told you huh? little brats don't know what's good for them!", mojo yelled. "hey there not brats!", i yelled. "i sent those idiots out to kill you! and what did they do? they failed! instead of them doing there job they told you every thing!", mojo yelled. "they didn't fail! the succeeded! they helped us find the ones we love!", i said angrily. "i just don't see what would posses my boys to fall for you girls... or why you goody two shoes girls would fall in love with bad boys!", mojo said. "hey! were not goody two shoes! you stupid monkey!", buttercup yelled. i looked over at the steps as i heard a noise. it was the young puffs. "oh i see you brought the brats with you", mojo said. "help the guys", i said to the young puffs as i pointed to the young ruffs. they nodded and quickly ran over to them. mojo quickly reached out and grabbed young me and pulled her into his arms wrapping one of his arms around her neck. "let her go!", i yelled as my heart dropped. i heard buttercup's voice say, "we have to do some thing momoko". at first it startled me but i remembered she was talking to me through our thoughts. "use your wind kaoru. use your water miyako", i said inside my head. i looked over at the girls and they nodded there heads. "wind!", kaoru yelled as she held out her hand. suddenly the basement filled with a strong wind. debris that had been lying on the floor was now blowing around in the air. the young ruffs and puffs huddled onto the floor trying to keep there heads down so the wouldn't be hit with debris. mojo struggled to stand his ground as young me tried to get away. buttercup put down her hand and the wind stopped. "water!", bubbled yelled as she held up her hand and sent a steam of water at Mojo's face. i could tell mojo had his eyes closed so i quickly ran forward and punched mojo in the face making him let go of young me. bubble's water stopped as i kicked mojo down to the ground. "you okay?", i asked young me. "yeah", young me said as she tried to catch her breath. buttercup and bubbles started to walk over to us when boomer yelled,"blossom look out!". i turned just in time to see mojo try to kick me. i knew he was going to kick me or young me so i quickly pushed young me out of the way. i quickly flew up into the air before mojo could kick me. i looked over to see that i had pushed young me down on to young brick. they were both blushing at each other as they exchanged smiles. buttercup quickly grabbed mojo by his collar of his shirt he was wearing and pulled him up. she punched him hard with her other hand then threw him down to the ground. "get back!", i said to the young puffs and ruffs. they all quickly moved away. i looked over at the girls then nodded my head. buttercup smiled as she knew what i was saying. the three of us held out our hands and said,"fire","ice","lightning". i could feel the energy flow threw my arm as a flame burned in my hand. i looked over to see that buttercup had a ball of electricity in her hand. we quickly hurled them at mojo. bubbles's sharps of ice flew fast and mojo didn't have a chance to escape my fire, buttercup's lightning or bubbles's ice. with a burst of light mojo was gone. "villians-0 heroes-6.. heroes win", the voice announced. "yes!", we all yelled as buttercup, bubbles and i slapped each other high fives. "the game will end in five minutes", the voice announced. "were going home!", miyako said gleefully. i quickly turned and ran back to brick. "we need to get you guys out", i said. "i have a knive", young brick said. "well bring it here!", i said. the young puffs helped the young ruffs up and they all walked over to us. young brick tossed me his pocket knife. i easily caught it and flipped it open. i quickly used it to cut the ropes. once i was done i handed it to bubbles so she could untie boomer. brick stood up and stretched. "damn i feel like I've been in that stupid chair for days!", brick said. brick quickly turned and pulled me into his arms hugging me. "god i've missed being able to do this", brick said softly. "i've missed it to!", i said as i hugged him back. brick and i smiled at each other as we both pulled away. "so let me guess you guys are R, G, and B?", brick asked as he turned to the young ruffs. "yep", young boomer said. "why the letters?", boomer asked. "R stands for red", young brick said. " and G stands for green", young butch said. "and B stands for blue", young boomer said. "sorry we wanted to help you guys sooner but we had to play along with mojo so he wouldn't suspect any thing", young brick said. i looked over to see every one was untied now. "as long as every one is okay that's all that matters", brick said. "three minutes", the voice announced as the world slowly started to disappear. it was like we were just standing in a field of white. there was nothing. no walls no buildings or any thing. however the young ruffs and puffs were still here. "this must be it huh?", young me asked. "i think so", i said. i could tell that she looked sad. "thank you guys so much for helping us... we couldn't have done it with out you", i said as i gave them a light smiled. "were never going to see you guys again huh?", young me asked. "i don't think so", i said softly. suddenly young me ran forward and engulfed me into a hug. i hugged her back. "i'm going to miss you", young me said. "i'll miss you to", i said softly as i let her go. young bubbles was also hugging bubbles. buttercup and young buttercup were shaking hands. "thank you for helping us out", brick said to young brick. "not a problem man. so uh can i ask you some thing?", young brick asked. "yeah?", brick asked. "is blossom a good kisser?", young brick asked. "very!", brick said as he winked at his younger self. "cool!", young brick said as he smiled at young me. "60 seconds", the voice announced. suddenly a bright beam of light shined down on the six of us. the group of young puffs and ruffs stepping backwards away from the light. young me bumped into young brick and blushed as she looked up at him. young brick smiled as he took her hand in his. i smiled at the both of them. young bubbles and young boomer were also holding hands. young butch tried to put his arm around young buttercups waist but she pushed him away. Despite being rejected young butch smirked at young buttercup. the young puffs and ruffs smiled and waved at us as they slowly started to disappear. once they were gone there was a bright flash of light. i quickly closed my eyes due to the brightness. when i opened my eyes every thing was normal. we were back in the arena room. the professor quickly pushed open the door. "you guys made it!", professor said in shock as he smiled. "were in the real world!", i said as i smiled.
