Chapter Twelve, Recovering from the fight

~Momoko's P.O.V~

i opened my eyes to a white ceiling and the sound of beeping. i looked down at my arm and there was an I.V in it. i was laying in a hospital bed in one of the professor's room. i looked over to my right and brick was sitting in a chair with his head laying on my bed. i smiled when i seen him. i slowly moved my arm and touched the back of his head. "brick?", i asked in a weak voice. brick quickly whipped his head up and looked at me. "momoko!", brick said excitedly as a huge smile spread across his face. i smiled back at him. brick quickly stood up and engulfed me into a tight hug. "thank god your okay!", brick said. "how long have i been out?", i asked. "a few hours", brick said as he pulled away from me. "i want to get up", i said. "no you should probably stay in bed", brick said softly. "no i don't want to please just help me or i'll do it myself", i said. "fine", brick said as he smirked at me. brick helped me off the bed and held me close to him. brick grabbed the I.V roller thing and helped me walk while pulling it. we walked out of the room and into the professor's main room. kaoru and butch sat on the couch watching the news. the news showed berserk and i fighting. it showed how damaged the park was. "as you can see our town hero blossom and an unknown villain are fighting and causing allot of damage but neither one will give up. the fight has lasted for almost two hours but the villain still keeps coming at her", the reporter said. "three new villains just showed up out of no where and started terrorizing the town", the reporter said. then it showed me getting thrown one last time. it showed berserk freeing her sisters and flying off. it showed me crawling over to brick and untying him. brick lifted me in his arms. "its okay baby your going to be okay!", brick whispered to me. i lifted my hand and put it on the side of his face. "i-i love you", i murmured. brick used his hand to wipe the blood off my face. "i love you to", brick sobbed as held me tighter. a tear rolled down brick's face. i leaned my head against his shoulder and closed my eyes. "could this be the end for blossom?", the reporter asked. i looked away from the tv. miyako and boomer sat at the table with the professor and ken. miyako looked up and noticed me. "momoko!", miyako said. kaoru turned and looked at me as butch turned off the tv. brick led me over to the table and helped me sit down. brick sat down on the chair next to me. kaoru and butch quickly walked over to the table and sat down. "how are you feeling?", the professor asked. "fine just a little weak", i said. "you shouldn't be out of bed", ken said. "i wanted to get up", i said, "so is the mayor pissed?". "about the park?", kaoru asked. i nodded my head. "yeah he is but he is just glad your okay", miyako said. "i feel bad that the park was completely trashed", i said. "hey you was just trying to protect the city some times things happen like that", professor said. "what did you guys tell my parents?", i asked, "you know why am i not home?". "don't worry i called them and said you was staying the night at my house", kaoru said. "thanks", i said. "so these new villains are the same girls that you guys had trouble with at your school?", ken asked. "yes", i said. "why are they causing trouble what do they want?", ken asked. "the boys", i said as i motioned to brick, butch and boomer. "are you sure? why them?", professor asked. "i don't know but berserk told me that brick was going to be hers so i know for a fact that this is what its about", i said, "and to make it even worse they know our real identities". "what!?", kaoru gasped. "how did they know?", boomer asked. "i have no idea", i said. "we have done research on the power punk girls and it turns out there from a town called megaville and they are completely evil", ken said. "yeah all they do is trash up the town and destroy things", professor said. "why would they come here?", miyako asked. "you don't think some one could of hired them to come here and destroy the puffs?", brick asked. "maybe but who?", professor said. "himeko?", kaoru asked. "no it couldn't be her because she has a crush on the guys so she wouldn't want more competition", i said. "sedusa?", miyako asked. "no sakurako couldn't of because she hasn't been sedusa in a long while", i said. "fuzzy?", kaoru asked. "i don't think so", i said. "him?", boomer asked. "we put and end to him along time ago", kaoru said. "mojo?", brick said. "nah mojo isn't smart enough for that", butch said. "yeah your probably right", brick said. "what about the gangreen gang?", miyako asked. "maybe", i said. "they could be behind this because ace can be pretty smart", kaoru said. "we need to find them tomorrow and confront them about this", i said. "yeah we need to stop this before things get worse you could have been killed today!", miyako said. "if it wasn't for you having chemical z in you DNA you would have died", professor said. "i know", i said as i looked at all my friends. i could see the worried looks on there faces. "so we just need to defeat the ggg's and then they can call off the punks right?", miyako asked. "i don't think its going to be that simple", kaoru said. "i guess your right", miyako said as she stood up. "were are you going?", kaoru asked. "i need to go home before my grandma gets worried", miyako said. "yeah i guess i better go to", kaoru said. "ill walk you", boomer and butch said at the same time. "ill see you guys tomorrow", miayko said as she walked over to me and gave me a hug. kaoru came over and hugged me to. "feel better okay?", kaoru said. "i will", i said as i gave her a reassuring smile. miyako, kaoru, boomer, and butch walked out of the room. "you should probably go get some sleep", professor said to me. "yeah i guess your right", i said. the professor stood up and started to walk out of the room. "good night", professor called. "yeah night", ken said as he got up and followed his dad. i turned and looked at brick. "can i sleep with you?", i asked. "sure", brick said as he smiled. brick helped me up and we both walked to the elevator. brick pressed a button and the doors closed. i smiled as i remembered the first time brick and i rode in a elevator together. how he held me to protect me from the fall. "its nice to see you smiling", brick said. "yeah i was just thinking about the first time you held me in your arms when we was in the elevator at the mayors", i said as i blushed. i could see a ting of pink in brick's cheeks. "i was trying to protect you", brick said as he smiled at me. the elevator doors opened and brick and i walked to his room. brick opened his bed room door and helped me into his room. brick closed his door and helped me over to his bed. i laid down in his bed. after brick turned off the lights he crawled into bed and laid down next to me. brick pulled the blankets up over us. i snuggled closer to him. i went to move my arm but then i remember the I.V was in it. "why do i need this thing!", i said angrily to myself. i could hear brick chuckle at my frustration. "because its to keep you hydrated or some thing like that. i don't really know because i'm not a doctor but i'm pretty sure that's what it is for", brick said. "well i wish it wasn't there", i said. "why?", brick asked. "because its annoying", i said as i smiled. "ill make you feel better", brick said as he pulled me into his arms. i was facing brick even though i couldn't see him because it was so dark. i put my hands on his chest and leaned my head onto his chest. i could hear brick sigh. "i'm glad your okay", brick said, "you have no idea how hard that was for me to watch". "what me laying in a hospital bed?", i asked. "that to but i meant watching you my girlfriend the girl of my dreams get hurt over and over again by berserk and knowing i couldn't do any thing about it", brick said. "its okay brick", i said softly. "i was so worried about you", brick said, "every time you slammed into some thing it was like i could feel your pain as well". "aw brick", i said softly. i could feel brick hold me tighter as he kissed my forehead. "you know i got allot of my strength today from you", i said, "every time i felt like giving up i just thought of you and i felt stronger and that i had a reason to keep fighting". "i just don't want you to get hurt", brick murmured with his lips still pressed against my forehead. "i don't want you to get hurt either", i said softly. "i love you momoko", brick murmured. "i love you to bricky", i murmured as i leaned up so brick and my lips were almost touching. "i love it when you call me that", brick whispered. i leaned in and kissed his lips. he kissed me to. our lips moved in sync. our kiss was soft, short and sweet. it wasn't like our normal hot and passionate kisses. brick pulled away and whispered, "good night momoko". "night bricky", i whispered. i leaned my head on brick's chest then closed my eyes and waited for sleep to take over me.
